Was having some issues with the plants. To much heat not enough humidity. They started show deficiencies and had to flush #1,2,4,5. #3 was healthy with very little signs of issues. No flush. Stopping nutes for the rest of the grow. May use the fishshit still. Will use half recommend and see how that goes since its good throughout growth cycle.

Had to spray some medicine again as there was a few bite marks from spidermites. May not get rid of em but can keep them at a lower number until harvest otherwise I would love to get rid of em but don't know the likelihood of that happening. Currently in the tent at 12/12 light schedule and have the lights running at night so cold of the night doesn't stunt any growth.

The lower budsites have come in nicely over the last couple weeks and I finally got a digital microscope to inspect the trichomes. I have a few amber so far with some cloudy but majority are still clear. I think I have a week or two left before I chop her. She has one more watering+feeding left before I start the flush in about this time next week assuming I get some more cloudy+amber trichomes before then, if not I will continue with current feeding schedule until I'm satisfied.

Mohawk Meds: Banana Flambe (BF): Day 42, 7 Weeks from seed. Healthy & green. Battled some High temps this week. Built a DIY water cooling system in the duck work along with lowering power to the lights but moving them closer to maintain PPFD & created an intake of cooler air to my closed loop system. All these things brought temps back to low-mid 70's from low 90's I was having. Through the week BF never wilted from the heat but didn't grow as much as it should have. Weekly Environment: 85-91F, 48-54% RH, 750-850 PPFD, & 550-875 CO2. Also topped BF #2 & #3 on the 5th Node. Decided to keep #1 as a Mother.

Day 56 Flowering: This week has been a great week to understand the difference between strains. now close to finishing , it is clear to see how different the bids can look to each other dependant on lineages too. Six shooter has really surprised me with her rapid gains in bud girth. She has seemed to be a lot smaller and somehow stunted for most of the grow. This week has changed her completely, even down to her lower buds which also look a lot thicker than a few days ago. with approx 12 days to go, she could be one of the contenders for yield. She is also very frosty looking now with a nice sweet hit to her. Strawberry Pie is really starting to colour her buds up now and even though they are not joined up colas , each clump looks to be fairly dense and heavy. The buds under direct light at the top look less chunky than the lowers with her too which is a first for me. The light is penerrating lower than I thought due to the structure she has. There are some nice looking lowers just putting new pistils out so she may go a little longer than her 8 weeks stated. Mexican Airline is my secret favourite this run. Hwr bids are stunning looking spiky ,bursts of colour now and with a little longer to go , I wonder how she will look with even more ripening and fattening out. She is a very tall plant and i will train better for the next time I grow this strain. I have had to support a couple of the limbs now as they want to fall with the weight of the buds . I am on standby with more yoyo's if I need them. lol These have been a pleasure to grow as expected and I am now popping some Fast buds Cream cookies auto ( x2) to run next. I dont doubt they will be great to grow. be safe and free growmies.

266 grams out of all 4 plants, roughly over half elbow. Went with grove bags. Did 5 day dry then put into totes for few days and bagged after trimmed. Sticky buds with the piney nose to it with heavy gas .

drying under 62% rh and 21°C over 10 days.

This week we are working on flushing these beauties; these plants have been awesome and harvest time is nigh! we started out with a Flawless finish drench, let that sit for about six hours; after that I ran about 4 gallons through each of them and let them rest for a day; ive repeated the 4 gallons of fresh water flush every second day for about 6 days now ( 3 flushes) and we are resting at a TDS of around 75. the girl is washed :) only heavy pure 6.3 ph water :) yes, she is not beautiful, but if you look closer it's just aesthetics :) you can already see a lot of refined sugar.....which makes me happy :) she doesn't have much left :) there will be an update :)

Just got done with trimming the 4x4 @greenhouseseedco Super Silver Haze / @blimburnseeds Silver Surfer Haze tent. The final yield is exactly 1000g plus some (kind of a lot)that I smoke in the last 2 weeks 😃 Also got 6, gallon size ziploc bags filled with good quality trim for concentrate. To be honest I was expecting a little more but keeping in mind that this grow I did not supplemented with bottled CO2 I think I’m good with the results. Definitely I enjoyed a lot this grow and I’ve learned even more.

DAY 53 Had to take out of the room the Amnesia XXL hermaphrodite; cant take the risk of turning the rest into males too. DAY 54 FUUUCKKK!! The wind dropped a piece of heavy wood onto the plants!!! 1 of the Moby Dick was totally broken. Some branches of the neighbour plants were affected too. So that's 2 plants lost at the moment (the hermaphrodite and the broken one). Day 56 Two days after the tragedy. Had to reorganize the room to prevent similar accidents in the future 🖤😢 Saved the most I could but definately this stressing event will influence the plant’s development. Also, considering taking out the claw leaved plant, which has signs of hermaphroditism (FML again 😫). Hope these 7 make it till the end. PS: Also, there’s 1 Moby Dick which has no signs of flowering at day 56, cant figure out what’s happening with it. I’m starting to think that it’s an Regular Feminized seed instead of an autoflowering.

How did you create/breed Freakshow? A. Methodical selection, line breeding, and culling is the short answer. Read our About page for more details. Q. Is it an indoor or outdoor type? A. Everything I've ever worked has been outdoors, including of course Freakshow. It has been our experience that outdoor (or sun grown, as it's recently being referred to) cultivars seem to perform extremely well under artificial conditions. In the case of Freakshow, it's much more limited because the ancestry is largely older "Sativas" that didn't go through as much outcrossing. In the 70s in Santa Cruz, Haze was a favorite among surfers for the pure energy and I still have (greatly improved) stock of it around, simply because even when I made hybrids with it I always kept the original in pure form for obvious reasons. Q. What is the psychoactive effect like? A. Like the flavors, many people have commented that the "buzz" is somewhat different than other mainstream types out there. It's not entirely out of the scope of imagination that given that this strain has new alleles in so many other respects, that it could also contain new, unique cannabinoids, as well as new and unique terpenoids, some of which may not even be among the standard 16 or so that the average lab is testing for. Aside from the up, cerebral, energetic boost, some report a mild time/space warp effect. Creativity and idea induction should be mentioned, for sure. Freakshow has the pure energy effect and greatly alters perception to the positive side, so definitely destroys depression. Appetite suppression is a side effect, but the enjoyment of food is enhanced. I personally will attest to all of the above. We all have different receptor profiles, so these are just generalizations. And if anyone can attest to the extreme level of resistance it seems to have we'd love to hear about that as well. Q. Does it contain web-leaf genetics? A. I thought I better clarify this because there are a few people thinking that because of an article "Growing Marijuana that Doesn't look like Marijuana" that mentions that I had worked web-leaf types years ago and had eventually turned that into Freakshow. This is incorrect and I'm needing to get ahold of the writer to have him change it. When I read the piece and saw the mistake I figured it didn't matter that much, that the actual method of breeding could just remain a "trade secret". Recently, I noticed online that a posting, "Freakshow only exists because of duckfoot" by Curious Cannabis Connoisseur, where he explains how I developed Freakshow using Duckfoot. Let me explain, about 20 yrs. ago a friend gave me a jar of seeds labeled "BC Bigbud" and I sprouted flats of hundreds to look for oddities and had found one web-leaf pheno which we named Webster. It was a female so I bred it to a normal leaf male and began selecting and stabilizing a line of Webster. About 5 or 6 generations later I had nailed it to 100% webs and had also stabilized it for a deep purple color and a nice "gingerbread" terp profile. I was busy working other lines at that point so I put Webster in the library. Also, I was having a hell of a time getting a pheno of it that flowered to my satisfaction. (it seemed to finish with a limited number of calyxes). I knew I would have to outcross it to something with a big tasty bud and restabilize it for web-leaf, and I no longer had the original BC Bigbud. I still have the Webster seeds, and trust me the thought has crossed my mind to make the cross with Freakshow, but why? Why mess around crossing things just to create something even weirder? I have heard that the "Duckfoot" also doesn't bud up well so maybe there's a correlation there. Anyway, people can do what they want to and I will too, but crossing Freakshow with some low-THC crap like ABC is in my opinion idiotic. I worked extremely hard stabilizing and perfecting a beautiful new subspecies and I believe it should be kept pure. I won't go on a rant here about the rampant crossing and the lack of line-breeding in the cannabis world in the last several decades, or where this will eventually lead us, but I will say that it's not in a good direction. Bottom line....Freakshow has no web-leaf genes, it was made using top-grade tropical narrow-leaf drug (NLD) cultivars. Q.Why is Freakshow patented? A. Although I and most others (including all the folks at HSC) believe in and subscribe to the concept of "open sourcing" because sharing in cannabis genetics was always the cultural norm, it was decided that Freakshow should be protected (1) because it is a novel and unique, not a preexisting strain (or even subspecies), (2) To keep the greedy corporate big boys from exploiting it, (3) To maintain control of the genetic refinement of it in all future generations.
