I've figured out my lights have been up a bit high, and the plants didn't seem to like it. They've been turned down the past week and all of the plants have responded well. The Bruce Banner stacked A LOT in the 4 inches because of the lights, so I clipped a few leafs to get some light to some of the under branches. Hopefully I can make use of them and they'll grow up quick.

Day 15 update; Morning; Was definitely a mistake to cut the leaves already.. I let the leaves stay on one of the 3 plants I have, and after it got repotted yesterday, growth have taken off completely.. It's 3 days younger than this one, and almost twice the size, having set the second set of leaves on the sidestems already. I'll add some fertilizer today, to the 2nd one I cut leaves on, and see how it goes, and then decide tomorrow if the other two will get some then or if waiting a few extra days is best. - It's looking incredibly healthy tho, for a plant that lost a bunch of it's roots yesterday.. It's hugging the light from the lamp with the rest of its leaves, even more than before. So hoping I didn't set growth back too much. - Added a video of the setup. It's nothing fancy, but should work nicely. Night; Still really healthy looking, and still hugging the light with pretty much every leaf, even the ones sprouting on the side have begun to do so.. Seems like it's starting to grow a little again as well, not much, but definitely a start to getting back on track. Day 16 update; She's definitely begun to grow again. Hopefully she'll catch up to the other two pretty fast. Day 17 update; There reqlly ian't much to say today. I think she's picking up the pace for growth, bit can't be too sure.. Day 18 update; There's no doubt that she's back to growing nicely again. She might even have a healthier green colour than before. Day 19 update; Morning; Pretty sure she's showing signs of the beginning of sexing this morning. A little earlier than I'd hoped, especially with the setbacks she's had. But she still got time to grow before flowering, so hopefully not a problem now that she's back on track. Evening; She popped a few hairs during the day.. I tried taking some better pictures, but damn phone camera just won't focus when getting closer than what I've uploaded, so I underlined the hairs slightly.. They hard to aee in the pic tho, but they're there. Night; She's set another couple of hairs at the top, they're very tiny tho and I still can't get a good picture. Growth is definitely progressing faster. Day 20 update; She's had a productive day. Definitely preparing to flower within the next week or so. Hairs should be pretty noticable on the top-down pic this time around, the way it looks close up, it could be suspected that she was already flowering. Day 21 update; Not quite flowering yet, but definitely very close from the looks of her top.. another couple of days, and she'll be there.

Week 8 Flower – Roller Coaster Haze (Zamnesia Seeds) The Final Act of a Beautiful Journey Here we are, Week 8 of flower, and the Roller Coaster Haze girls are at their absolute peak. Massive, elegant, and shining with frost — these plants are true works of living art. The colas are huge, dense, and heavy, coated in trichomes that glisten under the lights. The aroma is intense, that unmistakable hay-sweet haze scent filling the room the moment you approach them. It’s been an incredible journey from seed to this point — full of learning, adjustments, and evolution — and the girls are showing their gratitude with a breathtaking display. ⸻ Light Defoliation & Canopy Health This week, we performed a light defoliation, focusing mainly on yellowing and fading fan leaves. At this stage, the goal isn’t to push growth, but to maintain airflow and prevent moisture buildup, which can lead to bud rot or other late-stage issues. By selectively removing what the plant no longer needs, we’re allowing more light to penetrate the canopy and helping the buds finish strong and clean. The fading is beautiful — a sign that the plants are naturally consuming their reserves as they approach the end of their cycle. ⸻ Aroma, Density & Structure Each branch tells a story of energy and balance. The colas are dense and resin-packed, sticky to the touch, with pistils slowly darkening and curling inward. The aroma has deepened, becoming more earthy and hazy, with a sweet undertone that hints at the potency within. These are true haze beauties — towering, expressive, and powerful. Every part of the plant speaks of the care, patience, and intention behind this grow. ⸻ Feeding & Environment We have now completely stopped nutrient feeding. This week’s watering is plain, clean water only, measured at: • EC: 0.3 • pH: 6.8 – 7.2 The goal is to gently flush out any remaining salts and allow the plants to finish on what remains in the super soil. This natural fade encourages better flavor and cleaner results after harvest. Environmental conditions remain steady despite the high outdoor temperatures. With careful management through TrolMaster and Spider Farmer controls, we’re keeping: • Temperature: around 28°C • Humidity: 60–65% • VPD: approximately 1.3 Everything stays balanced and stable to allow the final ripening stage to unfold smoothly. ⸻ Light Adjustments – Simulating the End of the Season To mimic the natural end of the season, we’ve begun gradually lowering the white light intensity, while pushing the red, far-red, and UV spectrums to 100%. This spectrum shift signals to the plants that the cycle is ending, stimulating final ripening, color development, and resin production. The reds encourage energy transfer in the deeper parts of the canopy, while UV light helps enhance secondary metabolite production — the oils, terpenes, and resins that give Roller Coaster Haze her unique flavor and strength. ⸻ Reflections & Recap From seed to this stage, this run has been all about precision, patience, and experimentation. The Roller Coaster Haze responded beautifully to the Aptus + Plagron blend, the controlled environment, and the small adjustments we made each week. The natural fade is now in full display — leaves turning golden and soft while the buds continue to swell and frost over. The plants are enormous and full of life, and the garden is filled with that unmistakable late-flower perfume that makes this stage so magical. ⸻ What to Expect Next Expect: • Final ripening, with trichomes transitioning from cloudy to amber • Continued fading of the fan leaves • Aroma deepening even further, more earthy and hazy notes • Buds hardening and resin maturing for peak potency Not to Expect: • Any new vegetative growth • Heavy feeding — water only from now until harvest ⸻ Final Words Week 8 is the calm before the harvest. The girls are thriving, finishing strong, and showing every bit of love and work poured into them over the past two months. The Roller Coaster Haze truly lived up to her name — a thrilling, rewarding, and beautiful ride. We’re almost there. One or two more weeks, and it’ll be time to cut, dry, and celebrate what nature and care created together. April 26, 2024 Day 71 This week we focus on watering and nutrients. A secondary focus will be on a changing environment and light intensity changes. Both ladies had their reservoirs cleaned out and have fresh nutrients. It's also the start of late flower, so things will be changing with the nutrient dosage. I'll most likely keep the nutrients the same for this week, but I may start to drop the dosage a little for each watering until the flush period starts. So depending on how they look, I may change the dosage for this week's last watering. I'll be bringing it down 25%. So 8 ml goes down to 6 ml and 4 ml goes down to 3 ml. I'll change this for the next 2 weeks until it's just plain water for 2 waterings and then Flawless Finish. It should play out quite well. The lighting will also be changing a bit this week. I'll be dropping the DLI to 43 mol/m²/d mid week and will then lower it to 40 mol/m²/d beginning next week. I'll then drop it to 36 mol/m²/d the week after and finally 32 mol/m²/d for the final week. The environment will also be dropped from 77° to 75° during the day and from 68° to 65° at night. The humidity is solid at 47% and I think that's the best I can do for the rest of the grow. Both plants look great. They have tons of orange pistils and tons of trichomes. I'll be taking trichome pics every few days. One for each plant. I feel like it'll be a better comparison than daily pics. For the trichomes anyway. Anyway, they both still have time to swell their buds more. I'm not expecting big buds from these two. Medium sized maybe, but definitely not big. They just don't look like they will get that big. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.2° RH: 47.7% VPD: 1.49 kPa April 27, 2024 Almost all of the pistils are orange now on both plants, but the buds are still swelling. Interesting. I'll be taking trichome pics today at some point. I was going to yesterday, but got distracted with video games. Whoops. There's tons of trichomes. They are definitely frosty and continuing to get frostier. Nothing much to do today. Each plant got an inspection and passed with flying colors. There were some loose tie downs as well. Mostly from the crowding in the tent. So those got removed. Tropicana Cookies is looking super good now with her buds being everywhere and them swelling up finally. She could stand to get a few leaves taken off, but I'd rather just leave it alone now. No sense in undue stress. Tropicana C also looks great. She has to be the biggest of the two. Not the tallest, but definitely the most girthy. Lots of buds and also starting to finally swell up. I'd also like to mention the colors coming from both plants where the buds are nearly done. Lots of purple hues. You can't really see them from the small sugar leaves and frost covering it. But it's there. The lighting as I said will stay the same for the first half of this week. Then I'll drop it. However, I may leave it to next week. We shall see. The environment is looking pretty good. The temp is a bit high currently at 77.8°. the humidity is still at 47%, but I managed to get it down to 44% for most of yesterday afternoon. The DLI is a bit high today at 1.66 kPa. Nothing a small adjustment won't fix. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.5° RH: 45.7% VPD: 1.55 kPa April 28, 2024 Not a lot going on today. I'll be refilling the reservoirs later this afternoon. That's about it. I have a bit of a concern. Both ladies have really small buds, and I think they may have stopped swelling. I'm wondering if I have nutrient lockout or something. They are showing signs of stress. So I've already started dropping the nutrients down by cutting Overdrive in half as it seemed to have been the original cause of the nutrient burn. And the next watering will have all nutrients cut in half. Next week I'll drop it to 25% and leave it til flush, which may be next week anyway. We shall see. Other than that, both plants are covered in trichomes. They smell wonderful as well. Like orange and some other light citrus and gas. Smells super good as well as sweet. There is also a hint of cookies. The DLI will be dropped to 40 mol/m²/d tomorrow. I'm assuming it will only be a 10% drop on power, so I shouldn't lose much penetration. The environment is off today. It's warm and super humid with bouts of rain. So naturally, the tent environment is all wonky. The temp is at 75.5° with the humidity way up at 60%. I turned the AC on and now it's just a matter of tweaking and waiting. I may have to crank it and sacrifice some temp for lower humidity. It should be fine that way, but the humidity is definitely too high. Update: I ended up adding about a half gallon of plain water to both reservoirs. Just Incase I have nutrient lockout or something. They should go through that by tomorrow afternoon. Maybe late evening. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.6° RH: 52.8% VPD: 1.39 kPa April 29, 2024 No watering today. The plants are both still going through the half gallon of plain water from yesterday. Let's hope it clears up the nutrient burn. They look great with their trichome coverage. The only thing I'm pretty disappointed about is the size of the buds for both plants. I wonder what I did wrong. I'm guessing the introduction to Overdrive was about 2 weeks too early. Removing the Big Bud was also a major mistake I think. It should have stayed in the mix for 2 more weeks. Lesson learned, make adjustments to any feeding schedule to match the plants growth stage. Maybe I'll ask that question. The lighting was changed today. I dropped the power level down to 70% to get a DLI of 40 mol/m²/d. It's not perfect as the plants do not have level canopies, so some of the spots go all the way up to 45 mol/m²/d still. It's not a bad thing I think. The DLI was a bit high for those tops anyway. The environment is still wonky. The temp is fine at 76° to 77°. A bit high from what I want, but not out of range. I'd still like it down to 75° or 74°. The humidity is what's out of whack at 60% and it doesn't seem to want to drop. I have a heater on to clear out the room humidity and a dehumidifier in the tent working it's hardest. Which isn't very hard. I believe the fans are going on it. It may be time for another one. Something the same size but more powerful. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.2° RH: 59.8% VPD: 1.15 kPa April 30, 2024 Watering day. Both ladies got their full gallon of nutrients. I'm going to cut it when it drains down some with plain water. Both plants look good even though they have small buds. They are everywhere and seem pretty dense. So it's just a matter of time. Maybe another 2 weeks. Maybe less. Hopefully less. The nutrient burn was an issue, but now I think it's good. I dropped the Overdrive significantly, but I think I can plainly say, I have ruined my yield for these two plants. Lesson learned. Plain water at the first signs of stress. The scent is super strong now and smells like oranges and candy. Or something like that. All I know is that it smells great. The lighting is pretty good. No reaching yet, so it's definitely not too low. I may just leave it here for the rest of the grow. I read that lights don't need to be dimmed for autoflowers. It could be right. I've never dimmed the lights before. We shall see I guess. The environment is still wonky with the humidity being high still at 57%. I can control the temp pretty easily, but the humidity will not budge. I'll keep trying. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.5° RH: 57.0% VPD: 1.26 kPa May 1, 2024 Nothing to do today with these two. No watering needed, no light changes, nothing. I pulled them out, tooky pictures and checked them over. No issues pest or fungus or anything. The only issue I have is the nutrient burn. Some of the leaves are getting yellow spots on them and frankly I have no idea what to do here. Keep the nutrients the same? Cut the nutrients down some over the next week or 2? Go with plain water? Not too sure. I still see many stresses. And I think that is the cause of my tiny buds. It seems that I did take the Big Bud out too early and added the Overdrive way too soon. Oops. Lesson learned with this run. I don't think it's a matter of an over abundance of nutrients, but the wrong ones at the wrong time when the plants weren't ready for it. I'm guessing that's what has happened here. Both ladies smell fantastic. Super sweet and strong. Crisp, and not pungent. Refreshing even. Tropicana Cookies has some pretty hard buds and lots of them. Of course, larger buds are preferred, but as long as these come out fire, I'll be happy. Her branches also seem to be holding up nicely. Tropicana C on the other hand has weaker branches and the tallest top is starting to lean pretty heavily. A great sign for bud density. Both plants have phenomenal trichome production. It's getting better everyday. Tons of clear with a mix of cloudy and amber, definitely not ready yet, but soon I think. Very soon. Maybe another week and a half? Maybe 2. As I said before, I didn't change the lighting at all. It's current DLI is 40 mol/m²/d through most of the central canopy. The outside of the canopy is roughly 38 mol/m²/d. So it's all good now. The environment is still wonky with the humidity being at 59%. It's maddening. The room is 49% and the temp is fine at 75°. I'll sacrifice up to 77° if I can get the humidity around 50%. Not ideal for this stage in life, but it will have to do of I can even get it there. I do have a large dehumidifier, but it doesn't work right. When the compressor shuts off, it blows are that humid air right back into the room. I need a new one. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.2° RH: 56.1% VPD: 1.27 kPa May 2, 2024 Not a lot going on today. No watering, no trimming, nothing. I did change the light last night to 80% power. Tropicana Cookies looks great! She has purple coming out all over her buds. No fade yet though. I can assume that will be coming through in the next week or so. Her tops buds are getting slightly fatter and heavier than before. I hope it will continue to do so over the next 2 weeks. Tropicana C is slightly behind. She doesn't have nearly as many orange pistils and the purple is just starting to come through. However, she has tons of trichomes covering everything top to bottom. Her buds are about the same size as her sister, so they may end up swelling bigger than Tropicana Cookies when all is said and done. We shall see. As I said earlier in today's post, I changed the light power from 70% back up to 80%. I think I dropped it too early and need to adjust it accordingly. I'll drop it again in a week or so. Maybe less. Now the DLI is at 43 mol/m²/d inside and 40 mol/m²/d on the outside. The environment is still off, but not as much. The humidity continues to be high, but only at 55% verses the 60% it's been stuck at for the last few days. The temp is fine at 74.5°, but I think I can increase that a bit and hopefully drop the humidity down in turn. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.7° RH: 55.2% VPD: 1.24 kPa

Life is funny 😆, if you’re not learning something new every day, you’re not living! 4x4 update, one of the Yacht Party clones was struggling to keep up with the others, with this being the last harvest until fall, weight matters. I replaced the clone with a backup mother of my FX3# 3 which I’m very happy with! She seamlessly fitted right in with the canopy and will most definitely boost my weight goal. I’ve learned to only take my cuttings from the tops from now on, bottom branches will inevitably show a different size, less vigorous, and will not keep up with the growth rate from a clone from the top. 3x3 same issue with one of my FX3#2 clones, the clone taken from the bottom is half the size of its top clone sisters, she is healthy just a smaller version of the original mother. FX3#1 is shaping out nicely.

Flower day 31 - Having a little trouble with the temperature getting higher than I would like because my dehumidifier puts off some heat while it’s running so it’s been a constant struggle to keep the environment in this tent stable! Definitely will not have so many plants next run lol, but all in all the ladies are growing great & I can’t wait to see how they turn out! Thanks for following friends & happy growing!✌️🏼🌱 Flower day 33 - Fed half the plants today with PH at 6.4 to try and keep the humidity down some I’ll water the other half tomorrow!

SPONSORED DIARY===SPONSORED DIARY===SPONSORED DIARY TRANSPLANT #3 THIS WEEK!!!! Big week, did the last transplant of the grow before she enters flower. I decided to skip out on the 3gal and upgraded to a 4.97 or 5gal container. The plastic is cheep and looks like it was going to break but its all the grow store had in stock at the time. Was talking to them about going from a 2gal to 3gal and how it did not do much for the plant but stress it out. They also gave me a free sample of a bokashi fertilizer, I divided that in between the two plants. It looks identical to the regular non fertilizer branded bokashi, and I feel its the same but with a mist of NPK on it or something. Plants are doing well, Dynomyco had a slighter bigger root ball upon transplant and the plant its self is a tiny bit more robust. Given all the other soil boosters and microorganisms I have added into this, I don't feel I will see the true potential of just Dynomyco vs soil nothing else added. I just can't not add the others as it feel like a massive step backwards and end of day a big healthy plant is worth it. This diary may not have massive contrast in favour of Dynomyco but I will still use it none the less and I think its helps plus its not over just yet. Would love to hear what y'all think about this, hit me up in the comments and I'd try and get back to yea as fast as I can. I like how the dead Blue Cindy plant looks like a biophage, sifi like alien thing. SPONSORED DIARY===SPONSORED DIARY===SPONSORED DIARY This is my diary entry into the Dynomyco Show Us What You Got Contest! #DynomycoShowUsWhatYouGot! @DynomycoShowUsWhatYouGot! @Dynomyco Big Shoutout to @Dynomyco for picking me in their contest. Happy to be involved and as a user of Dynomyco I am curious to see this side by side with my own eyes. I will be honest I am a little skeptical it will show any major differences. but we will see what happens. Some disclaimers, I am still using LABS serum I made, This is also beneficial to the root mass however it's a bacteria based product and not fungal or mycorrhizae like Dynomyco. https://growdiaries.com/giveaways/DYNOMYCO_Show_Us_What_You_Got

Now it's all over and I can sit back look at her, cry a tear of joy, and enjoy that my hard work has paid off. Although it is not over just yet. I still need to dry out the bud and get them in jars to cure.I will say one thing about my opinion on tastes and smell. Its just that, an opinion. I chose creamy just because I felt it describes the taste, although I cant say it tastes like a cream-sickle. It definitely has some citrus to the taste though, that I am sure of. The high I feel really brings me up. Took me too long to wake up this morning but this helped out. I'm feeling ready for the day, and all around quite good inside the chest and head. All in all it tastes and feels great. It will be a great WAKE and bake sativa, or a great party toke. I am going to give some away to some close friends and get their opinions on it as well. I do recommend this plant to other people. Try it out for yourselves. It was an easy plant to grow and train. My buds did not come out looking like a cannabis cup winner but they probably could in the right growers hands.

Hi liebe Community and Welcome Back!

🌱 Grow Report — Week 9 (Week 5 Flower) Photoperiods | 12/12 from Seed vs 2 Weeks Veg After weeks of growth, adjustments, patience, and a few ups and downs… we’ve arrived at one of the most exciting stages of the cycle. This is where everything starts to come together. ⸻ 🔬 Quick Recap (for anyone joining now) We’re running the same genetics in two different approaches: • 🌱 Plant A — 12/12 from seed (no veg) • 🌱 Plant B — 2 weeks veg before 12/12 Current environment: • 🌡️ 28°C • 💧 60–65% RH • ⚡ EC 2.4 • pH 6.5 • 🌬️ CO₂ ~1000 ppm • 💧 Water intake: ~1.5–2L/day Both plants are healthy, vigorous, and pushing hard — but expressing themselves very differently. ⸻ 🌿 What’s Happening This Week This is true flower acceleration. You can see it clearly: • Bud sites stacking • Internodal spacing defining structure • Pistils exploding • Trichomes beginning to coat everything The plant is now shifting energy from: 👉 vertical growth → flower production + resin output ⸻ ✨ Trichomes — The Frost Begins Those macro shots… beautiful. What you’re seeing: • Early capitate-stalked trichomes forming • Resin heads still mostly clear • Rapid increase in density on sugar leaves and calyxes Why do trichomes exist? They’re not just “frost”: • 🛡️ Protection against UV • 🐛 Defense against pests • 💧 Moisture regulation • Chemical factory (terpenes + cannabinoids) What does this level of production mean? 👉 Strong genetic expression 👉 Good environmental balance 👉 High potential for quality resin later on Right now = foundation stage Later = bulking + ripening ⸻ 🌸 Pistils (White Hairs) — What They Tell Us Those white hairs everywhere = pistils. They are: • The female reproductive organs • Designed to catch pollen (which we don’t want here) What they indicate: • Plant is in active flower development • Bud sites are still building structure • No maturity yet — still early/mid stage When they: • Turn orange/brown → maturity approaching • Recede → calyx swelling begins Right now? 👉 Peak formation phase ⸻ 🌱 Bud Formation & Structure You said it perfectly: 👉 “Golf balls forming” That’s exactly it. What we’re seeing: • Tight clusters starting • Defined spacing between bud sites • Structure that will determine final yield Key observation: • The spacing is clean and organized • Light penetration is doing its job • No overcrowding → better airflow + resin potential ⸻ 🌿 Color & Health That lush green? 👉 Perfect. It means: • Nitrogen still available but not excessive • No major deficiencies • Photosynthesis running strong At EC 2.4: 👉 They’re feeding heavy and accepting it well ⸻ 🌱 The Big Comparison — Two Different Timelines 🌱 Plant A — 12/12 From Seed • Shorter (~90 cm) • More compact • Earlier flower maturity • Faster transition 👉 This one is ahead in flower development ⸻ 🌱 Plant B — 2 Weeks Veg (Studio Plant) • Taller (~120 cm) • More branching • More sites • Slight delay in flower maturity 👉 Still building structure + stretching slightly longer ⸻ ⚖️ Why This Difference Happens It’s simple but powerful: 👉 Time in vegetative state = structural foundation • Plant B had more time to: • Build roots • Create branches • Store energy So: • More size • More sites • But slightly delayed flowering Meanwhile: • Plant A went straight into reproduction mode 👉 Faster flowering, less structure ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect Next 🌱 12/12 From Seed Plant • Faster ripening • Smaller but denser buds • Likely earlier harvest • More uniform structure ⸻ 🌱 2 Weeks Veg Plant • Bigger colas • More yield potential • Slightly longer flowering time • Possibly more variation between buds ⸻ ⚠️ What NOT to Expect (yet) • No cloudy/amber trichomes yet • No final swelling • No terpene peak yet 👉 That comes later (weeks 6–8+) ⸻ 🙏 Closing — From Grower to Growers To everyone following this journey: • The OGs • The new ones • The silent watchers • The ones asking questions • Even the critics This is for all of you. Trust me, you won’t want to miss the next steps, let’s push the boundaries of indoor horticulture together! As always, this is shared for educational purposes, aiming to spread understanding and appreciation for this plant. Let’s celebrate it responsibly and continue to learn and grow together. With true love comes happiness. Always believe in yourself, and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine. 💚 Growers love to all 💚 📸 P.S. – The Eye Behind the Lens All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art.
