They still seem to be growing, although going in the room twice a day, it is difficult to notice unless I look closely or compare photos with previous weeks. Going to cut off a couple small pieces of calyx's shortly and will post a couple pictures from my scope. Speaking of those, they're starting to give me some nice colours, slight purples, neon greens and yellows, the photos don't really do them justice under the warm lighting but I will try and take a couple pics in some white light when I chop her down in a couple weeks time. It is also quite difficult to illustrate the size of some of these colas, the one near the back on the right, is about 19 inches long, and about 4 inches wide. Looks like 2 ounces of bud hanging on her and I have had to lasso some string around it and a couple other colas as they were falling down. Bringing EC slowly down to around 1.2 - I think I will cut nutrient strength down to about 0.8 EC in a few days time to try and hurry her along a bit. I will only be flushing for 3 days at the end of this grow, they will also be in the dark for 2 days at the end with low temps (mid teens in ºC) to preserve terpenes, oils and other cannabinoids. Day 43 Watered them with feeding but a bit less than in Chart. Ppm is still high but because I got bio-fertilizer I think it should be okay 👍🏽. I also set the light from stage 7 to stage 9 so far the plants seem to like it. Will give an update on day 45. Day 50 Trying to fix the overfeeding. looked good Day 53 Still a bit overfed. Reducing the feed. I’m trying water without minerals next and will see how it is going.

Busy times as i prepare for outdoor growing this summer, but these autos are progressing nicely, the uploaded photos document week 5 (+1day) of growth, forgot to group the Purple Punch Autos together for a group photo 😖, heavy defoliation of fan leaves were done as well as some more LST.

good guys weekly comment? nice situation! I wasn't sure of this success unfortunately little room for growth! THESE PLANTS COULD BE MONSTERS it would have taken ample space but the yield gives me hope three CBDVs and a mokum tulip, this last one has been subjected to the most stress in the last week with ice the colors are hallucinating. the trichomes have turned red. i watered with water only for two weeks but no night without light i decided and cut i had huge buds full of red trichomes, and a kind of foxtail tendency on the largest apical which gave me a shock for don't leave time and cut everything, unfortunately I suffer from a disorder that causes me epilepsy I think CBDVA is a worthy replacement for my shitty drugs. Surely it was a challenge to insert such large vases and not perform the topping but it was not recommended in fact they have grown enormous think an LST in an open space exposed to the sun at 360 degrees. They gave me the mokum tulip and I am very grateful for having already fallen in love with this strain in terms of terpenic and visual aspects, a bit difficult the growth in the sixth week had to be followed it had to be sprayed with a lot of air. but the attention was rewarded by an Asian genetics I happened to have a very diesel phenotype you can also smell the aromas of hops mango and blueberries indescribable last I've already cut and trimmed! photos soon

the seedling seems rather weak at this point, and i had a little oopsie where the fan fell on it. thankfully it was alright afterwards. i watered the plant once per every two or three days.

Had first snow this week. La jefa is going to be flushed this week entering the home stretch. Branches can barely support the flowers.

Growing naturally just water and organic matter with ashes…so far no problems. I can’t wait to taste her.

It gives me confidence in knowing that I am working with great genetics before I even start my grow. ---------------------------- Germination Start and incubation period 3/12/24 to 3/26/24 Transfer Day to Veg Day 6 3/27 to 4/2 Germination: First note was about the appearance of the seeds. They were smaller than I am used to seeing, but no damage or deformities and look to be in good shape. Germination took 14 days from dropping in water to transplanting into 1 gallon pots. 23hours in a glass of 6.3ph room temp RO water. 2 cracked open a little and I placed them both in paper towels wet with the glass water and pasted to the sides of the glass for 2 days then checked, no progress. So I freshened the water then waited another 2 days and checked, little to no progress. Then checked again 1 day later and finally was able to move them. One looked fully ready and the other seemed less ready. I placed in rapid rooter pods and closed with toothpick tips. 1 popped out of the pods in 1 day but the other did not. So I gave it 1 more day and started my spare seed. After 4 days of water and towels I replaced the dead pod with a growing sprout. Transplant occurred on 3/27 Veg Day 0 to 6 1gal hard tall pots. Transplant went well. The sprouts are smaller than I would like and seem to be stubborn in growth to start but hoping htat changes with soil. One pod was overgrown in the pods and Im hoping it doesn't reflect in the overall plant production. Video: Transplant ease. Transplant to 1 gal pots: I am using a 50/50, 50%perlite/50%soil with a .5lb of dolomite lime and a .5ml of flora micro added to .5 gallon of RO water (Im mixing 2 gallons of soil total so the water to soil ratio is 1/4 of the total medium volume) to achieve a soil tested ph of 6.4. I am using a 50/50 soil/perlite mix because I plan to use these in auto pots. I also used about 1 cup of the same soil mix water to pour around the plant after transplant; you can see how the perlite rises to the top where I did this. I sprayed two domes and covered - I plan to leave covered for the first week. Feed: I kept them under the domes and sprayed every day that I didnt feed them, to keep humidity up while I let them find water in the soil. By the end of the week I took the domes off and took pictures. Feed this week was another 1 cup of 6.3ph water 5 days after transplant. Feed plan next week will increase the amount to 2 cups of plain-no-nute water with about 4 days between feeds. I want to see the water run through so if I need to use more than 2 cups I will. The idea is to water deep and through, but then make them search for more before the next feed, hopefully spreading the roots out while doing it. Veg Plan: I plan on 8 colas for each plant. So that will be 3 topping days and a total of 7 cuts. I will want to cut the first time on day 21 if I have 5+ nodes. I will transfer to 5 gallon auto pots with-in 1 week of the first topping. Once I have 3 nodes of new growth past the first topping, I will top those two branches to the first node again. (that's 3 cuts total by this point) Then, after 3 new nodes of growth after that, I will do a last topping on the 4 branches. (4 new cuts added to make a total of 7 cuts and 8 colas) I will train the branches using LST/HST with tie downs as soon as I can after the first topping day to help maintain the branches growing where I want them to. I will also introduce an adjustable tomato ring after they have settled into the 5 gallon forever pots to provide support and mobility Hopefully all goes well, and I will have 1 to 2 weeks of growth before flip after week 8. I think it sounds more ambitious than it really is, but if you follow this journal, we will see together.

I look at the beginning of the period a little different than most. This transition can take up to 2 weeks before pistil formations can be seen - a true sign of flowering, and during this time it has the potential to gain substantial mass. So I continue to consider it in a vegetative state until flowers start forming.
