So I've chosen my final 6! 4 are 7 days old and the other 2 are 6 days old! A little slower in growth for some but I put that down to me having them in coco to start and I'm inexperienced with coco and as soon as I switched them to soil they perked right up so I'll stick to what I know and use soil starter plugs or soil or even root cubes have done me justice in the past, I run my diffuser twice a day to maintain my 60-70% avg RH I started at 25% power on the light at 10" and slowly increasing the power to 50% at 10" above canopy! As I'm using co2 im able to put the light closer and raise the temps! I was using a heat matt but honest opinion I think they're a Hazzard in some way and not necessarily necessary! Just my opinion as I came across problems with the substrate being too dry sometimes! But I will keep them in these pots for about another 3-5 days and then transfer them into a bigger but not final pot for an avg of 2-3 weeks! Can't wait to be at the end of may! Flowers are starting to stack, all at different rates due to different phenotypes. I've given up trying to feed them all according to their different needs, they react unpredictably. Some are hungry and eating their bottom leaves while others look to be overdosing on nitrogen. I am now applying standard doses of dilute fish mix and normal dose bio-bloom to all plants. I think it will probably be a staggered harvest. The sativa pheno is likely to take the longest, with the hybrid pheno being the quickest. Indica pheno somewhere in the middle.

I also supercropped some branches. 20-3 Temps: 18.2 to 22.8 degrees Humidity: 59% to 69% 21-3 Temps: 18.5 to 23.4 degrees Humidity: 57% to 67% Watering: Both 1000 ml. 22-3 Temps: 19.4 to 24.1 degrees Humidity: 55% to 67% Watering: Both 1000 ml. Set the strength of the light to 50% 23-3 Temps: 19.8 to 24.8 degrees Humidity: 58% to 67% Watering: Both 1000 ml. As you can see, instead of removing the leaves, i tucked down all the leaves to open up the canopy. I will see if i like this method as its the first time i try this. I also attached some more shoots to the rack, its looking nicely spread out now :) The #2 makes my fingers very sticky and smells really strong! I love it!

New week, new growth.. Will hopefully start the LST and Topping in a few days. They are really starting to grow. Fan leaves looking healthy and big. Girls coming with vigorous growth now, everything dialled in and happy. Just adjusting the EC/pH as needed when the girls show me the relevant signs/deficiencies if any. D31/D35- Decided they were in a good enough place to start topping the girls, all 6 topped and just some defoliation of the bigger fan leaves that are shading the growth shoots some HST was also done. We were also due a water change, so I cleaned the whole system just to keep things extra cleanly, very important in a RDWC system. I also switched over to a sterile system instead of using beneficial bacteria so I will experiment and see how this goes. Time to let the girls ecover before the next training session. Cruise control for now.

A huge flush was due with the ladies maturing. I noticed large swell after this, and kinda confirms they were a bit shocked from over nutes previously. Ive got the temp nailed down with better HVAC system in the ol garage. Again, its winter....some challenges hahaha.

Start of week 5 positive grow

This strain is performing like crazy. My god, she just wants to go and go and go. See the difference with the previous week, it's going crazy in this tent. I had some space to fill because one of her roommates turned out male. More about this in my Xtra Kush diary. But fill up they did, I turned her around, for the change of scenery, but also to let the longer side branches fill up the space in the scrog. And did she. With all these bud sites, the rapid growth of flowers, this strain is having a good time. Very happy with how my soil recipe is performing (see the yellow image in earlier pages), none of the crazy stories of going hermie when stressed. Just some T. L. C. and this strain outperforms anything I have recently grown. But this SP-3000 is just a beast of a light and we owe much of this success to @MarsHydroLED, who was so kind to let us try their light. Another smooth week. I did some light defoliation and a bit of lollipopping to tame the jungle, mainly removing leaves that were shading bud sites or blocking airflow through the canopy. I’m hoping the Hyperion stretch is finally done, because I’m right at the space limit. I had to run the light at 80% to manage height and keep the main tops around 50k lux (and under 60k) to avoid stressing them. I bumped feed strength up to 2.0 EC. I also added another fan down low to improve air circulation and I’m trying to keep VPD above 1.0 kPa. It’s not easy all day, especially when lights go off, so I’ve been compensating a bit by running temps higher. Not ideal to be above 27°C at this stage, but the dehu can’t always keep up. Os fertilizantes tenho usado alternadamente em intervalos de 3 a 4 dias entre as regas . Pois tive que recolher as plantas para a estufa. Quebrei as ponteiras para não alongar muito a planta pois tenho limites de altura da iluminação e quero ver se ela fica mais cheia de botões no caule .

Wow, what an amazing strain to grow and harvest! She grew so well and never caught PM from her roommates the entire grow! Her buds were fucking thick and fat, as well as tall. Smells wonderful and HIGHLY RECOMMEND growing this strain...you will be greatly rewarded! She grows easy, trains easy for LST/HST, and produces dense thick buds.
