Slow progress on the flowers, pistils are still developing.

Weekly update on these girls. They got a major defoliation this week so it'd allow the lower flower sites to mature some. They're sweet candy smelling when you rub the stems. The flower stretch has stopped now the sites are swelling daily. Over all I'm excited to see what the coming weeks have in store. Happy Growing

Aug 23: Tropicana Cookies Fast Flowering is. cruising along toward the finish. Nice and symmetric with 16 colas all forming a nice long stick of buds. Should be a really good yield off of this one. No pue colour uet but I’m sure it’s coming soon. Aug 27: hit 32 C today and will be hot for another five days or so. With this late heat wave I’ve upped the daily water volume to about 9 L a day over three waterings. Still adding potassium silicate once a day and always adjusting pH with vinegar and then a squirt of Dr Bronners Peppermint Soap as a wetting agent. Smell of peppermint also repels pests, supposedly.

And we have arrived at the magic moment for our autoflowering plants, the Zamnesia elves are working their magic and the buds are composing and freezing in the night. A scent of paradise invades my house now. --- Our Black Orchids are beautiful and different from each other. I imagined they were similar until a few days ago but then one started flowering more quickly and kept the main cola quite aligned with the lateral buds; the other instead started a mega central brunch and stands up to 130 cm tall. What we like most is that it seems to be bringing out dark buds. I don't want to bring bad luck but here we are waiting for a Black with fingers crossed, touching wood and everything necessary. Beautiful, tall and powerful, she will still be a champion. Unfortunately what we never want to happen has happened with my baby.. bud rot.. on day 98 of cycle I found 1 bud with bud rot, cut it off, checked the plant and could not find more.. flushed the plant and wait next day to see how it goes. After 2 days main bud was identified with bud rot too.. so sad.. probably due high humidity in my environment + colder weather we are starting to have.. so on day 101 harvest it.. could go few more days to get more amber trichomes but decided to harvest it to avoid lose more buds .. I will keep watching it to see if no spread when drying :(

Dry weight including airy lower buds from 6 plants is roughly about 16-17 oz.

Getting so hot here now but she's loving it. Taking 4L-5L of water per day, half in the morning half in the evening. She might get stressed and start to wilt a bit in July & August as it gets crazy hot here during summer but I have a sun canopy I can pull over her if needed. Still no issues with pests. Have been giving her a spray with insecticide every 2-3 days. Starting to feel quite confident of the outcome of this grow already. I tried to grow this strain last season but it went horribly wrong owing to some poor decisions made by myself (tried out a pine bark mulch & some 'companion plants'. Never again!).

Bald sollte der Stretch vorbei sein. Viel ist sie leider nicht gewachsen, was die kompakte Wuchsform wohl wiederspiegelt.

1 week left until i flip, the blue dream and white runtz are lagging behind but the pineapple express, and ghost train are begging for flower! day 54, and what a beautiful first grow it has been so far, these girls have responded well to all the punishment i could dish out in training and have responded with a beautiful even canopy. cannot wait to see them flower day 55, midday, lights are off for the next 36 hours to expedite the flowering process.
