Grow diaries is cool but it kinda sucks.

These ladies are in full flower and progressing like a dream. The colas on them are chunky to all get out. And to think they've barely begun the flower period is mind blowing to me. I'll go in this week and do a good cleaning taking out some of the crispy leafs on the under canopy. Over all though Happy Growing.

Week 5 Another week full of lots of new growth. I am up to four tops now so it’s just a matter of waiting a little longer and I will be up to the magic number 8. I really like the open structure of this plant. She seems perky and very healthy up to now. Cooler internals: 6.2 pH 0.4 EC 65 F solution temp. Onward 😎🍻

Week 13 for Gigi! Fifth week of flower: Buds are fattening up and trichomes are becoming milky...Guys if you try to grow this genetic, keep in mind this thing: use a good filter! This plant smells a lot and amazingly good 👍 Day 86: Watered properly with all the nutrients. Rh is about 50/55% and temperature 25°C. Day 90: Watered again with half the nutrients. She drinks a lot. Guys, now it's time to talk about the disaster happened with the lamp 3 weeks ago. The lamp crashed on the main branches snapping them...but Gigi simply doesn't give a s*** about it and flowered. This week we did a very heavy defoil, the canopy was so thick I was getting worried about bud-rot or something else starting. There is also a decent amount of larf on some of the sides where the bushes where bumping into each other. Next time, I'm only doing 5 in this tent as they could have been bigger with more space. I will do the next layout like a 5 on a 6 sided dice. Once again, I had Algae try to start. However, I was prepared with H202 on hand. I put 1ml per L in, and it cleared that up in 1 day. I have decided that after next week, they will get the chop. By Feb 26th, they will be chopped and weighed wet, then 7 days later, weighed dry!

Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. Week 6 2nd week of flowering: Slowly but surely, the whole thing had taken shape. And in the way I'm usually used to. "Sow love, reap happiness." Hello dear plant friends, please forgive me for my time delay in the grow diary. A lot is happening in real life for me right now and I had to get used to it. Unfortunately, one of my beloved cats died suddenly for a reason unknown to me. A long-time friend and companion. And in addition, I am very busy modernizing my grow room, expanding capacities and the current grow also requires a lot of attention, as I am passionate about new crazy training methods. All this distracts me from my grief and the loss of my dear furry friend and helps me a lot to get back on my feet mentally. Una fuerza inprecionante, pidiendo un transplante

This is the last week before water flush and the harvest. Plants continue in their course. The week plant surprisingly will give some crop but the healthy one is very pretty. From today I started with the water to flush.

Goin into Week 2

trimmed and netted the plants last night, 12/30, and the energy pushed the plants to stretch another 1/2 inch+ this will be the last week of vegetation as I prep this light leaking tent for flower, not a fan of mars hydro at all right now. their poles are the weakest I've encountered yet, too many light leaks and this is the first grow with it. My high cfm fan , which is only a 4", is pulling the fabric too much and causing the leaks to grow a bit. This is not new, its been happening with indoor tents for a while now but I thought a grow company such as MH would have a decent, respectable tent. My solution is Blackout Curtains draped over the sides. However, I am hesitant to do this with the MH tent as the poles for the tent are too weak as it is, tsk tsk tsk mars hydro. will continue to increase the watts the next 6 days HAPPY NEW YEAR a combination of light and fresh soil has made the plants stretch so I will finish tightening up the MH tent today and ill start flower tomorrow, day 62. while adjusting the height I must have nudged the dial for the dimmer and sent it to 184w. this would have been a big jump but manageable but I lowered the light 7" and the plants took a bit of a hit. I adjusted the light back down to 160w and I'll let the plants recover before anymore adjustments.

Esta variedad me encanta, huelen genial y sus cogollos son super densos y llenos de resina siempre. Poca tolerancia a los excesos y es muy fácil de estresar. A pesar de todo sigue siendo una de mis variedades favoritas ya que su aroma old school con toques ácidos me fascina!. Actualizaré luego del secado y después notas de humo. Saludos!

Beginning of week 10(veg): Wow the progress this week. Biggie smalls(Short one) really took off. I added my flowering LED light for these girls and they are loving it! I moved the girls into the flower tent for now. The ventilation inside my closet is horrible and I think I’m seeing white mildew spots on some leaves =( Now that they’ve been inside the grow tent for about 4 days I don’t see any signs of the white spots, which is a relief. I defoliated biggie smalls yesterday, which made it so I could really see the branch structure underneath there. I’m really happy with what I see, some really good looking branches. They no longer need the ties, they seem to be growing how I want them to, and when they don’t I give them a little bend to match the canopy height. I’m going on vacation in a month so I set purchased a drip system from amazon. After spending about 20 minute setting it up, and then painstakingly driving the stakes into the roots of my plants, I realized the product didn’t actually work. I’ve purchased another pump and some hosing, we’ll give this another go when it arrives. I’ll be feeding them again tomorrow. One more week of veg for Biggie Smalls and then she’s going for 2 days of darkness and flower. Really excited for that. Hopefully she continues the strong growth over the next week.

This was an easy grow, and had some amazing results. This is some of my best homegrown to date ❤️ the ladies were easy to manage, no PM, pests or disease. The root balls were enormous, wasn’t much soil to recover. They got heavy in the end from the weight but managed to stay upright for the most part. They were big stretchers , prepare for that, scrog was a good way to go but some of the eager beavers got away from me, which ended in some massive colas. Overall easy to grow, no surprises and you won’t regret the results! 10/10 ❤️👊🤤
