Today, day 23 was the last repotting. Girls went from 11.6L to a 20L pot. Now there in the right place. In fact, just 3/4 have beene repotting because I didn't have enough Lightmix :/ My order is late, and I'm not really happy with that 😡 I planned to top the girls on wednesday or thursday. It will depends on how they will recover. Actually, it's my first time with smartpots. If smartpots have a lot of advantages, repotting is not one of them ! I made a mistake : the plants were 60% dry, and abviously, it was not a good idea ! It should be clearly moist. Nextime I think I will water the girls 1 hour before repotting. I hope it will be ok and they will recover from this tough moment.... Will see in a few days 😰😨 Anyway, I have generously watered them right after repotting with no nutrient. Juste clear water with the right Ph. As they are in some brand new light-mix medium, I thought they have enough nutrient for a at least 2 or 3 days. D-25 : Everything is ok. Girls seems to have recover very well :) Anyway, I'll wait at least one more day before topping. The last Chocolate Haze (the one that was 5 days late), doesn't have 6 nodes yet and I would prefer to top each girls at the same time. D-26 : Repotting the last one and topping everybody. Fingers crossed for the next couple of days... I also feed the girls right after the top. During the topping process, the plants were reduced from 19cm to 12cm.

Big textwall incoming homies: Here Im doin some shit i knew from owning low to middle branded smd grow panels* how is that usually they come with both uv , ir, far red even newer quantum boards supplements itself with diverse chips extending their photosynthetic spectrum or making specific accesory bars / modules yet my purporse is rather focus on UV as this 15w bar (advertised as nominal 9 x 3w powered led) with UV-A 390-400nm spectrum – something that trigger some reaction to the plants with some other color son the flowering phase and trying to establish functional a ratio , as a bit of blue green and yellow have specific purposes instead of providing absurd quantities of red light , as there is some lateral cold bulbs in smaller but necessary ratios (as blue spectrum is still required on flowering , yet the original purpose was to complement mid to low branch development) in this shitty set up bonding with the upper bulbs and their colour temperature schema, every light has it's own schedule as how i suppose is a morning to night as something that cause plant resistance response (kinda noticed something i need to stimulate as i see a bit of fox-tailing but now with the uv-a i propose to build resistance and activate defense mechanisms like resin and of course, plant morphology according to its stage making bulkier , tankier , according to outdoor’s atmosphere i want to replicate as optimal weather as well – i hope this hardship make them more resilient and increase their health points as here i’s a HOT GIRL SUMMER- even indoors it rises my base temperature makes smell notorious, but as is not the usual weed smell make it and advantage in terms of discretion Killer Kush presents slight sweet tones not very prominent, the only herbal smell can be associated to pine undermining the refined coffee-like smell that is the dominant note (this selection of kush lack of lemon notes up to this point i can say it’s earthy with a bit of sour & sweetness) . This is a seriously hard plant to take photos of, it's so big and lanky. She's on about a 20 degree angle at this point too, she's very top heavy 🤣 Very impressed with this girl. I almost tossed her out as a seedling due to her mutation; I've included a seedling photo to show the reader how far this plant has come. She has produced very dense and sticky buds with extremely strong aromas. She smells like candy and gas, just like a zkittles female would smell late in flower. It's been an easy grow. I'm expecting about 4 oz of high quality flower after dry and cure stages. I intend to press at least half of my yield with my rosin press. This seems like the perfect strain to make concentrates with due to the high terpene/trichome levels. I just added a photo of the Forbidden Runtz i grew in round 1 directly above round 2 flower for a comparison between the two. Round 1 is the two top buds that have more brown/red tone in colour. PS: Understanding Foxtailing One of the girls, our Pheno #2, is starting to show signs of foxtailing. For those new to the term, foxtailing refers to when buds grow in elongated, irregular patterns instead of stacking neatly into the dense, conical shape we often expect. The result is a flower that looks “spiky” or “funky,” almost as though the plant is growing multiple little towers from a single cola. Why does this happen? There are two main sides to the story: • Genetic Foxtailing: Some strains naturally express this trait, especially sativa-leaning hybrids. In this case, foxtailing is simply part of the plant’s personality, often leading to extra surface area for resin glands, which can even mean more trichomes and aromas. • Environmental Foxtailing: Stress factors can also trigger it — high heat, intense light (too much PPFD), or shifts in feeding can encourage buds to keep stacking in odd ways rather than finishing their round formation. In our case, the temperatures have sometimes pushed higher than ideal, and the lights are running strong, so those factors might play a role. But genetics also carry a heavy influence, and Gelonade — being sativa-leaning, can naturally lean toward these elongated flower expressions. Is foxtailing a problem? Not at all. While it can look unusual compared to the “textbook” cola shape, it doesn’t reduce quality. In fact, it can increase flower mass and surface resin coverage, giving us more material and potentially more complex aesthetics. Some growers even treasure it as a unique expression of their plant’s individuality. So while Pheno #2 may look a little funky, we see it as a gift, more fruit, more character, more story to tell. Didn't have someone to come water the plants. 5 days away. Plants dried right out. Defoliated both and fed and watered. We will see what happens. Plant one has mostly orange hairs. Plant two is on the whiter side. Buds are still filling in. I have definitely learned that I need to move on to a more automated system for my lifestyle. Gonna try to make the best of the next few weeks and watch the trichomes turn. Day 66-67 flushed soil with pH water
