A couple of ladies died through the bad weather conditions in the Netherland in May. (candy Kush, Fat Banana, Green gelato). I learned a wise lesson. Be more patient. Once the seedlings started to sprout I already put them outside. If I just took some more time to let them grow a bit. before I put them in the final destination. This would have saved me a lot of headache.

Using a Rhaspberry Pi 4 to automate the watering and a TP-link 105 smart plug to automate the Viparspectra P2000 LED grow light. You still require some basic command line expertise, but the steps have been proven and I provide links to the gear I used AND the Node Red code, making this EASIER than anything else I've seen online. The plants had been a little root-bound before transplanting them into the bigger pots, this showed in a yellowing of the leaves and a slowed growth. During week 5, now in the bigger pots, the plants are recovering quickly. The start to grow in a nice healthy green color and quickly get bigger in size. Since the light-mix has nutrients in it for appr. 2 weeks, I only add a little BIO NOVA Roots and BN-Zym to my 'FLEXITANK' reservoir. After adding the nutrients I measure the ph-value and see its 6,6. That is too high for cannabis-plant on soil, they cannot take up all nutrients at that ph-level. Therefore I use ph-min from BIO NOVA to decrease the value of the 100 liter nutrient solution in my reservoir to ph=6,0. At this ph-level the plants can take up all nutrients they need for a healthy growth. My two SANlight EVO4-120 LED-fixtures are hanging 75 cm above the plants and are tilted inwards by 11 degrees, following the recommendations of the lights manufacturer. The fixtures are dimmed to 60% of power (=1 green light ON on the dimmer) at this stage, so they plants get a nice stretch and grow into bigger plants fast.

At day 21, the plant is growing extremely bushy with lots of branching. I like a healthy, compact plant, but it is definitely making the LST tricky as there is so much foliage in such a dense space. I am planning on defoliating in the future, but with my LED set up the bottom fan leafs are getting plenty of light so I am going to start slow. Over week 4 my plan is to really flatten the plant out, and get more room for all the branches coming in. If this kind of growth continues for another week or so, there will be a ton of bud sites when it switches to flowering. Day 27: upgraded to new tent.

7/18: I was a little worried about the girls over the weekend because they started drooping and the leaves twisting. I gave them a good feeding of Big Bloom and they've completely bounced back. I switched them over to 12/12 Sunday night and lifted the lights a bit. So far... extremely happy with this grow. Best one yet so far. 😍😍 7/19: The bf did another large defoliation. I'm crying. Buwahhahaha jk... I hate it but of course I know it has to be done. 7/21: Of course my girls have already bounced back like the bf hadn't even touched them. They're doing pretty awesome right now. I'm very happy. I lifted the lights up some but boosted their power SLIGHTLY. Will be alternating Big Bloom, pH'ed water only, Calmag, pH'ed water only Calmag, pH'ed water only, Big Bloom for the duration of flower until a few weeks before harvest then pH'ed water only for flushing purposes before the harvest. 😊😚 7/23: The girls are thriving with my feeding, watering and calmag schedule. I'd attempted to tuck some of the branches again under the net but they aren't having it. They popped themselves right back free lololol 😍👊

The flush week! Seemed ok - def had nitrogen toxicity in one purple berry kush - maybe too much ripener before. But we’re here - will give them the 24 now and chop. We’re out of time on this run. 90^% of the crop are where I want them to be however I thought I would have more droopy leaves. Will do the harvests on Monday anyways. Have a great week. Everything is looking great ! Cheese is nearly done, it is starting to show amber. Maui is very happy and smells amazing, it just glistens with tri-chromes. Buttercream is doing well but I think it will take a week or two longer than the others. Blueberry is looking awesome very large thick dense buds. No Blueberry smell but a very strong plant otherwise. *Update Buttercream gelato started throwing Banana's so I removed it from the room. I trimmed it down and did not notice any other signs of hermaphroditism but I will still harvest the plant now just to be safe. There have been no issues with light or heat fluctuations at all, nothing that would trigger it to Hermie that I can think of which makes me think genetics are the issue. I have One other Buttercream going that was cloned before this one went into flower. If it hermies late in the bloom like this one has I will remove the strain from my rotation. I am not particularly pleased with the structure of Buttercream for scrog in any case. The plant that I took down had very large bud sites but were no where near as dense as the other strains in the tent.

Tag 40: Ich gebe zusätzlich Alg a mic in das Gießwasser zur Stressbehandlung. Tag 46: Ich habe mich entschlossen diesen Grow abzubrechen. Seit kurzem werden die Blätter hell und fühlen sich trocken an. Ich vermute es liegt daran das ich einmal ein großen Schluck zu hartes Wasser genommen habe. Ich hatte einmal zuwenig Gießwasser vorbereitet (PH wert eingestellt 6,3) und es lief unten nicht raus so nahm unvorbereitetes (PH wert 7 etwa) Wasser zum Schluss, zunächst wuchs die Pflanze normal weiter, doch nach 1-2 Wochen stagniert das Wachstum die Blätter sind hell und trocken, auch die neuen Triebe sehen nicht gut aus.

Day 122. Girls are chopped. Nice frost, smell, no weight ;))) Day 136. Both jared , 70 + 56 = 126 g total from a light which according to manufacture has 140, but youtube states 129 ... So its almost 1G/W , result my friend can be proud off !!!!! Cure week 2. Buds looking nice, tastes better and better. My friend really loves to smoke his own now , even proud of his work , when showing off to other friends ;)))) Happy growing !!!

Eccoci ragazzi! Una settimana e qualche giorno sono passati, finalmente anche questa ragazza ha buttato le radici in acqua e sta crescendo molto rapidamente, speriamo che nel giro di una settimana sia più o meno grande quanto la sorella e che sia un minimo pronta per essere mandata in fioritura, l acqua verrà cambiata tra circa una settimana per adesso ho aggiunto solo un po di cleance per tenere le radici pulite, per il resto sembra tutto ok, apparte un po di variazioni del ph, ma sono cose normali in Hydro penso.. Dai ci vediamo alla prossima settimana e come sempre ringrazio Terra Aquatica per i nutrienti fenomenali e la loro fiducia, Mars hydro per l attrezzature professionali e Anesia seeds per la genetica davvero che promette molto bene! Wow going into the 3. Week of Flower. The plants have exploded since switching to 12/12 . #7 have close to doubled in size and are easily filling the second Trellis layer. #6 has also gotten bigger but it seems to have filled in more then shot up in height.. Will do a big defoiliate next Saturday. Will take everything below the first trellis including branches on #7  that do not reach the second trellis Turned IR to 75% 9-25-22 Feed the plants , they are looking great, but are ready for some trimming. Evening update: really don't know why but checked my soil this evening before lights turned off for the day and discovered it was bone dry. Watered the plants . Sure hope it starts cooling down soon. Temp in tent was upper 80's today, a tad warmer then wanted. 9-26-22 Plants seemed to have plenty of water left this morning, but might need checked on tonight. I am surprised that the plants are still stretching. Cheezy Puff & Cookies &Stash are much taller then the POG. The POG is more of a compact flower compared to the other two. The Flowers on all 3 are developing beautifully. 9-27-22 Day 17 It is amazing how much taller the Cheezy Puff as well as the Grandpa's Stash are compared to the POG All 3 look extremely happy and healthy and are developing plenty of bud sites. Feed plants this morning 9-28-22 Day 18 Is it only me that gets excited everyday when it's time to open the tent and feed the girls? Flowers are looking great but are ready for a trim! The incoming weather has me a little concerned, woke up to tent having RH of 70% closed the window and hope that helps 9-30-2022 day 20 The last two days have been tough on me and the geow. We got smashed by hurricane Ian and have been without electricity for the last 48 h with no end in sight. Opened the tent the last 2 days hoping the plants will get at least some daylight. With all the humidity in the air, the tent was at rh 98% when I opened it first this morning. Even after hours being opened the RH is still hovering around 75% Hope we get electricity back in the next 24h
