[Week 10 - Harvest] The Fat Banana plant has reached its peak maturity within the minigrow box. We harvest the plant, trim the buds, and prepare them for the drying and curing process. And there you have it—the weekly progress of a Fat Banana Cannabis plant, grown within a minigrow box, resulting in a super quick and easy grow in just 10 weeks!

All going well

Day 69 (March 6th) Just gave everyone their last watering. I’m going to harvest and wash everything tomorrow night on day 70. I‘m not going to do that whole 48 hours of darkness thing because I didn’t see a difference last time I did it. In fact, it made my plant under watered before drying which caused it to dry too fast. Slurricane and cheese will be washed with h2o2 and the rest will just be rinsed off in warm RO water and hung up. Before and after washing I’m going to go over each branch with a flashlight and make sure there is no dog hair or debris in or on the buds. I will be drying in my spare bathroom (that no one uses!) from hangers. Aiming to keep it around 60-62F and 50-60 RH. Hoping for that 10-12 day dry. I wanted to do a full plant hang but the tent got pretty dirty and I would feel more comfortable just cutting and rinsing everything off branch by branch. I’m going to try my best to keep the full plant intact. Got my humidifier hooked up and running RO water because with tap water it deposits calcium and lime all over the buds and walls. For air flow I’m just indirectly running a small usb fan. I’m not worried about air flow in the bathroom honestly. It stays nice and breezy down there anyway. Got the food grade peroxide and RO water to wash up the slurricane and cheese. Everything except for the cheese and garlic#1 is looking more than done. Trichomes all look pretty well done. Some of them have even burst open. Smells are all super ripe and mature too. Can’t wait to smell each individually in jars. Next week I will recap what went wrong and what I will do differently next time to keep it from happening again. (Day 70F) Just got everything chopped, washed and hanging. The vast majority of the PM was washed out but I can still see very small amounts. When they dry out I can shake the branches a bit to get the rest off. At very least it’s sterile now. There is no question I lost some potency while washing but the amount is negligible for a much cleaner product. I could see lots of dirt and other debris float to the surface of the water after being washed. And no those are not trichomes, those sink to the bottom. I could put that nasty water through a bubble bag and wouldn’t get all that much. Although it probably does remove a lot of the actual trichomes heads. I’ll have to check with the microscope. Everything is rigged up for a nice slow dry. Temp is sitting at 64 and RH is at a nice 60%.

The chop has arrived! This was a really long but fun grow! I do see why people don't like growing sativas it does take forever and is a difficult process! I will do another one for sure though! I will update one more time with the full harvest and weight once drying has finished. 11/21/2025 is when I started the dry in my tent! Currently 62F and 60% humidity

🌱 First week of my cannabis growing adventure with autoflowers! 🌟 As a newbie, I'm diving into the art of low stress training early on because autos have a shorter grow period and I'm curious to see how far I can push the limits. Just experimenting and gathering valuable experience in this rapid growing phase! 📚 ✨ Planted in light mix soil with added worm castings in fabric and plastic pots to compare outcomes. Great week :) getting heavier by the day ;p put them onto flushing with straight ph’d water from here out. Keeping the pots on the dryer side from here out. Lowered the temp of my room and my water as well.

10/10/2022 - 64 days since my little girl sprouted from seeds🌱 Fifth week of flowering of my BCN Power Plant 🌴🌴🌻 Nutrients: Jungle Indabox - this week I keep serving and adding Jungle Indabox Environ X - bud stimulator 🌼🌸🌼 Advanced Nutrients - Big Bud - I canceled the bud stimulator mix and stayed with Jungle Indabox because the girls got a little burnt, the classic brown color appeared on the tips of the leaves 🍃🍂 I stuck with Bud Candy, all my girls need plenty of carbs 🍭🍭 Atami - ATA Calmag - when growing under LED lights it is recommended to use Calmag and Atami is an excellent brand Training: I did more defoliation with BCN, I feel that it has too many leaves in the buds, so I pruned it a lot 🍃🍃 Light: Believe - the best light of sponsor Mars Hydro TS 1000 💡💡 In general: The plant is strong, manages nutrients well, absorbs as needed. The leaves are deep green, you can see that it is a sativa. As far as flowering is concerned, she is the slowest for now - compared to the other girls in the box. It only has white pistils and the flowers are not yet fully formed 🏵️💮 I think at least in one week. Hi everyone! So nothing really of note to report this week, she is definitely getting closer to harvest as she is uptaking significantly less nutrients now than she did a week or two ago so I have had to go down on nutrients and will probably have to lower it even more as it is still raising daily. She is also getting a bit fatter and denser but I'm really hoping to see some improvement here over the last weeks🙏 I have again been pretty busy outside the grow tent this week building and setting up an outdoor gardening area at our house for my girlfriend to grow her vegetables, fruits, and flowers so I have had less time to be in there and have forgotten to take pictures some of the days. But it has been lucky that I haven't really had any problems to attend to in the tent so all I have had to do is the daily PH and EC measurements and then change the water every other day. Following the plagron alga grow schedule (Stopped with sugar royal - too much N), along with compost tea weekly (Recipe Week 11). Calmag needed because my water its really soft. - PPFD at canopy height is approximately 800, with VPD around 1.3-1.5 - Leaf Temp ~3°C lower than room - Using 0.75 liters of compost tea per plant for superior bud flavor 👉 See recipe for week 11 👈 - Pulling some leafs here and there - Granndy Candy tolerates the light intensity somewhat better --------------------- Happy growing, and thank you for checking out my report! Ventilation went outside all day. Reservoirs topped off. 12/14 - Water topped off and Ph'ed Trimmed unhealthy leaves. No notice in temps with new ventilation. The smell is getting dank!

December 15, day 1, seedling healthy with taproot growing 1.5 inches out of rapid rooter. Transplanted to seedling container. Under 25w Sansi LED untill it is ready for veg lighting. 5 gallon final container prepped with buffered coco/perlite. December 18, day 4. Seedling has had some issues with transpiration, probably due to not enough flushing of the coco. The result is damage to the tips/necrosis of the first true leaves. I flushed the medium and the seedling seems to be recovering. It is sending out more roots and growing at a steady pace. I also moved the seedling into its final pot. This feels a little premature, but it was over growing it's humidity dome. In the final pot it can be covered by clear plastic to maintain humidity. December 19, day 5, new growth is healthy which I am happy about. I will cross my fingers that my quick adjustments fixed the transpiration issues. I am hoping to get it huge and have it trained across the whole 2x4 tent, and it needs to avoid getting stunted for that to happen. 💪🌱 December 20, day 6, I had a bit of a scare when I accidentally knocked my humidity meter and it fell right onto the seedling! The poor thing was knocked right over. It seems to be fine, just leaning a little bit over which will hopefully correct itself in the next few days. December 21, day 7, healthy growing 🌱👍
