Half time in bloom. I made a video with and one without flash. This is always a bit misleading. I set Josefine a bit higher. I should have done this much earlier as she was already the smallest the whole time. I defoliated a tiny bit. Should be. A few leaves are turning yellow, but I think I watered a little too much, or gave too much fertilizer. However, it doesn't look alarming to me at the moment. They'll catch themselves again. Otherwise, I'm looking forward to the first week of April.

Acapulco Gold has grown out of control, the lights can't go up any further, and the plant is burning on the LED's. This really is a massive plant. Let's hope the smoke is good, as it looks like there will be a substantial amount here by the end! 😅😁👌 I have been turning the plant around to try and minimize the damage from the heat and light. Other than that, the plant is looking really good, this is going to be a long one for sure! Hello Diary. We have reached the end of the journey.🙌 Fat Banana exceeded my expectations in every way. Smell, taste, yield. In the end I got a little less than 70g of dried flowers which is above average for my farm. 💪 Here's how it all went since the last call. 28/11/2020 - Day 65. Harvest. I checked with a microscope and most of the trichomes are milky and about 5% have turned brown. Everything is ready. After the last photo shoot, I cut the plant at the very bottom of the stalk. Before that, I prepared a handmade cardboard box in which I would put the branches to dry for a minimum of 10 days. After hanging the branches in the box, I put the box back in the grow box, between Haze Berry who had further extended their stay at the Farm. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 24.5 degrees and 38% humidity. 10/12/2020 - Day 77. After 12 days of drying, I took the dry branches out of the box and pruned the rest of the dry leaves. I put the dried flowers in jars, put in moisture fighters for better moisture regulation and for better curing. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.5 degrees and 39% humidity. 20/12/2020 - Day 87. Tasting. Great smoke, fruity tropical flavor. A brief overview of the whole story. Fat Banana Auto (Royal Queen Sees) - 18/09/2020 - Sprouted - 28/11/2020 - Harvest - Total 72 days. Three weeks of vegetation and six weeks of flowering. I did a small defoliation twice. A total of 68 g of yield. The best strain so far on my Farm. plants with 49 days - 15/09 everything going fine, took out some branches and will have a taste of whats coming in a few days. gdp is looking the best, big buds full of resin. sweet grape smell. mother 1 is probably gonna be my mother, full of crystals with a refreshing lemonade smell. two more weeks to go for most of these plants, some will take longer.

Still no amber trichomes in sight but starting flush from next watering. Only have 3 weeks till I move and need this all trimmed and dry within 3 weeks . Throwing every trick in the book at it get it to finish. Lifted light as high as I could get it and cut back to 75 % from 100. As well as cutting light hours back to 10/14

It's seems that both will go full purple 😁 absolutely love it 😍 On Mar 17 Selective defoliation, training on branches and watering with bloom nutes. 7 ltrs beetwen both. Small runoffs with perfect 6.5 ph. Didn't notice any signs of stress. Girls bounced back within an hour. Second watering on Mar 21 7ltr beetwen both. Light dimmer at 65 watts. Humidity at 45% on avg when lights on and 50-55% when off. Really enjoyable grow this one. Almost no work around as no issues at all. End of Week 4, Defoliated and more training, first feed at 378 ppm. Humidity is high so added the dehumidifier. Hoping for another week of veg before flower but some are looking ready to go. Just started another journal with Papaya Cookies and Pound Cake.

The temperatures, humidity, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil. Using 7.6 pH well water creates challenges in keeping iron, nitrogen, and phosphorus available to the plants. This soil is recycled and had a starting pH of 7.3-7.5. I added Diamond Brand Ferrous Sulfate at the above listed rate of 2.5 ml/gallon of soil. I distributed these granules evenly across the top of the soil. Adding this amendment acidifies the soil and provides a readily available and lasting iron supplement during veg. After adding the ferrous sulfate some small particles were splashed onto the leaves by the rain. These particles burnt the leaves and are the dark spots you see in the photos. Those dark spots turned into tears in the leaves as the high winds ripped through them. The girls are showing a little excessive nutrient stress. I believe from the phosphorus in the Coop Poop. I've come to believe it runs higher than the advertised 4%. The higher soil pH exasperates this. As the ferrous sulfate works and these girls grow larger these issues will be solved. Day 1 we had cooler temps, overcast skies, and showers during the morning and night. These continued early morning day 2. Followed by sunshine after noon on day 2. Early morning Day 3 at 2-3 a.m. we had thunderstorms that produced strong winds and very heavy rain for almost two hours. Day 4, despite the 5% rain forecast, we had another thunderstorm producing heavy rain and strong wind followed by rain that evening. Day 5 the plants had a respite. We had lots of sunshine and a lite breeze to dry the soaked soil out. Day 6 we had more sunshine and breezy weather. Day 7 more sunshine and excellent cannabis weather, not too hot and not too cold. I didn't water these this week as the rain was more than enough. These girls are real tuff. The weather during their germination and first two weeks after planting was brutal. The high winds and heavy rain blasted the leaves and soaked the pots. These girls bent but didn't break. They look a little beat up from the weather, pH issues, and nutrients stress. This isn't ideal but in two weeks it will be a faded memory. Fastbuds can handle harsh outdoor conditions, minor user error, and still produce lots of beautiful buds. Follow and see for yourself.
