Week 8 Flower My favourite part; Flush flush flusshhhhh 🚽🌊💦 This is the time where you will see the most swelling and ripening of the buds, and also it's winter colours in its leaves and possibly even flowers (strain dependent) as the plant cannibalizes itself of all of its stored nutrients. Many strains will fade into a bright yellow, but a lot of strains can turn to many stunning colours such as purple, orange, red or even black! Purpling can also occur on your flowers throughout flush, which only adds to it's bag appeal! I believe it's extremely important to include a flush period at the end of each cycle. I don't necessarily mean you have to flush copious amounts of water through them like I do, but the end goal is to have a cannibalised plant before harvesting, regardless of your system, methods or medium. Having a proper flush is what gives you the clean burning, smooth smoke in the end. If many nutrients are left in the flowers, it can create a hard black ash that can spark as you toke 💥😷 and would be quite toxic for you to smoke. I start by pouring just enough water through the pot to get a decent run off in the catch tray below. I then take a note of the ppm/EC and pH of that run off to see how she's doing, and then adjust the pH of the rest of the water to be flushed if required. This girl's run off was a little high, at approx 6.2-6.5pH so I adjusted the rest of the flush water to around 5.5-5.6pH. This should bring it back down a bit more, although it doesn't really matter so much later in flush as she's only feeding on herself anyway, not what is in her pot. Once adjusted, I pour around 30ltr through her pot to reduce the salt contents in the coco. I then take another reading of her last bit of run off in the catch tray and make a note. I find that flushing a large amount of water through the coco speeds up the process because it has taken away many more nutrients from the coco than with not doing so. This gives the plant no choice but to instantly start to cannabilize on the only nutrients available; it's own. Once they're fading fast I'll simply feed them enough for a decent run off as I know there's nothing left in the coco. The amount of buds on this girl is absolutely insane! She's a monster! She's swelling up but still getting taller, with her tallest cola almost touching the reflector now. I'm definitely glad I supported her! I'm going for a 3+ week flush as I can't take her any further with plants in veg waiting for spaces, so hopefully she'll ripen up! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🦊

So far plain sailing, I raised the light as I was riding it a bit close and in a weeks time I will defoliate for the last time and remove any unwanted growth from the bottom.

Week 10 Flower 6 Runtz is in her last week; I started the week off 3/10 with water and feed. On her next water day, I started adding ice to the top of the pot 3/12 I added ice to the top of the pot and watered 2 ltr with PH6.7 3/13 Ice on the top of the pot 3/14 more ice and 2 ltr Ph 6.67 3/15 she was feeling light so I watered 2ltr 6.5 water. Apparently she is still drinking and many not be fully ready. Runtz is maturing almost as fast as the blue cheese gals and faster than the other strains in the tent. After flushing excess nutrients out of the soil and plant, Runtz is showing fade and nutrient usage in the upper leaves. The buds are stacking fatter and packing on more resin on the buds which are sticky and hard. The stems are strong and support the heavy buds. I used a microscope and got some good trichome shots. The trichomes are mostly milky and some clear ones remaining. Some purples show in the leaves. The older pistils are turning orange brown. Some new white hairs are still forming. Good afternoon fellow growers hope you are all well and having a great week👊🏻 Big shout to James and the team at RQS Well what a week for this lady. She is growing nice and steady. These F1 genetics really are the real deal in my opinion. Not a lot to do apart from water and try keep her happy. Will start some LST later this week. Plants have a bit deficiency of potassium but they're growing well.I dropped humidy from 55-65 to 45-55%. I Also watered with 5l. Of water and 25g of Gurumix bloom and molasses.

The girls continue to grow very nicely! All the girls have gone into flowering and I have upgraded to the 600W light now to push these girls and see what we can get from the final harvest 😋 They are still on the vega feed for now whilst they are in the early flower stage. Not alot to report except the front girl had a very slight amount of nute burn but rolling with it as the other girls are fine and its minimal signs so far! If it gets worse maybe will adjust the feed!

First week back with my plants and they’re wayyy bigger than I thought they’d get! Decided to do a big defoliation since it’s about the 3-4 week in flower. And they’re getting stanky

All right today's day 50 and this girl is rocking and rolling... She's about half the size as I used to growing but I'm used to synthetics so for an all organic I'm happy because I can fit more plants in my tent.. with that being said she's also in less than 2 gallons of soil she's at 23 in and she is frosting up nicely... This end week, I've removed the glass, and put on my extractor, I continue to give water with my vaporisator Water + rhizo PH@6 I keep a wet soil and give water everywhere, not only around the stem. I put a bit up supply lamp each day, we are now at 20% #3 is smallest than others because going out soit delayed than 2 others. I enjoy growing this strain so much that I decided to pop more beans and get another 2 plants going. It’s such an addicting aroma and beautiful strain to take care of and watch mature into plump fat purple nugs. I personally think this strain smells more like candy then anything else I’ve grown. Even Zkittles. This is a great strain for beginners or for someone lazy that just wants to kick back and enjoy the process. Thanks fast buds!
