Lil LST and defoliation for whiskey Zulu

While we're not huge on autoflower plants, this one turned out really nice, not a huge yield, maybe just over an Oz dry but her bag appeal can't be beat.. we may actually grow this strain again but probably outdoors, our autos always seem to preform better in the garden. These are about a month old. I've no idea what they are as there from a long time ago and were mixed with a few varieties of autos and photoperiod. Hopefully they work out and are not Spanish sativa as that just gives me a headache after more than 0.25g in a day?? Anyone else ever have that? Powerplant does the same if I use more than 0.50g in a day. The only two strains that have that effect on me!

Weather has been abnormally warm for this time of the year.... smooth transition from the indoor to the outdoor. 🌸 Week 5 Complete – First Week of Flower Phase The light cycle has been switched to 12/12 since the start of the week. No clear signs of flowering yet, except for a slight preflower showing on the Seriotica. However, the stretch has definitely kicked in: 📏 Current height: • Seriotica: 42 cm • Cherry MAC: 46 cm • MAC n Cheese: 50 cm MAC n Cheese is stretching nicely and looks strong – just like the rest of the tent. 💧 Watering & Feeding • 6 L per plant every 3 days • Feeding at ~50 % of the Advanced Nutrients schedule • Input EC: ~1.3 🔍 Drain EC readings: • Seriotica: 1.1 • Cherry MAC: 1.0 • MAC n Cheese: 0.92 Still very happy with the medium mix (Plagron Lightmix + Coco) – especially because the runoff EC is consistently measurable and reliable. Looking back, I probably could’ve flipped to flower a week earlier – the tent is really filling up now! 😄

Seedling popped on 08/09 its been a bit of slow growth at the moment after seedling has popped i had it in a solo cup for about 5/6 days an transplanted into final pot on 17/09 . Hoping for some rapid growth for the next few weeks.👊

This was an experiment that proves topping is really beneficial…just look at her! Now I have to see how good she SCROGS. A very healthy spreading girl.

Week 5, 5-11 September 2025 5-11 Sept - Observed and let the plant grow. At last a fast week of growth. Whatever the issue was worked itself out and the plant is now thriving. I believe the main problem was the roots did not grow with the speed usually associated with an auto. This could have been my fault because the clay pebbles were rather shallow at the beginning of the grow, and the added expanded clay pebbles a couple of weeks back finally expanded the root system. In any case it is on track now and doing fine. The end of this week I increased the light power 60%, DLI 37 canopy coverage at 18 hrs. - 2 Sept changed nutrient solution - 2 Sept updated feeding schedule - Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 - Adjusting PH to 6.1 daily using GH up/down - Nutrient solution EC 1.7 at 69 degrees F - Light power at 60%, DLI 37 canopy coverage at 18hrs - Using PYPABL, Air Pump, 400GPH That is it for this week. Dank Berry is really starting to show her structure after multiple toppings. She’s growing bushy with lots of healthy green leaves and new shoots forming. Excited to see how many bud sites she will build up before the flip.
