Week 7 Veg Report 🌿✨ Hey Grow Fam! 🌱 Week 7 of veg is here, and let me tell you, the grow room is buzzing with life! Each of the girls is showing off her unique personality, and I’m especially stoked about the Papaya Zoap—she’s really coming into her own! The scrog net is nearly filled out just how I wanted it, and I can feel we’re so close to flipping to flower. The anticipation is real! 😁 But before we get to flowering, let’s take a dive into something that makes this grow so smooth—ThinkGrow LED drivers and cables. ThinkGrow LED Drivers – Plugging Into Success 💡🔗 This week, I had a chance to work deeper with the ThinkGrow LED system, and honestly, it’s like a dream come true for efficiency. I’ve been using the TLD-4 Four Spectrum Control Channels Model One LED Driver, and let me break down how it works. The drivers attach directly to the bars—super sleek and no extra bulk. And, the connections? It’s a matter of matching the male and female connectors on the TDC-2 Daisy Chain Cord. It’s like a simple puzzle that snaps together perfectly. The TDC-4 cord takes it to the next level, connecting the top bars to the ICL-300 Inner-Canopy LED Bar, giving complete control and balance across every layer of my canopy. Why is this important? The driver-to-bar connection ensures that each LED bar is operating optimally, and the daisy-chain system makes it effortless to manage multiple bars without a ton of wires everywhere. It’s neat, efficient, and delivers even light distribution, which my plants are loving! 🌞 Are My Girls Ready for Flower? 🌸 When I look at the plants up close, it’s like they’re whispering, “Flip me to flower already!” 😆 Their growth has been so vigorous, each filling out the space with character, and that scrog net is almost fully covered. So, I’m thinking we’re super close to the big switch. Each plant has its own pace, but as a whole, the grow is looking fantastic! Room Stats – Tuning Into the Environment 🌡️ The TrolMaster system is still killing it with data and control, making it easier for me to keep everything balanced. Here’s a quick breakdown of the week’s environmental numbers, and a few jokes along the way! 😜 • Room Temps: Max 25.5°C | Min 24.4°C (Keeping it cool but not too chill!) • RH: Max 76.4% | Min 67.1% (Humidity stays right where it needs to be.) • CO2: Max 832 ppm | Min 420 ppm (Shout out to that magical 420! 🌬️😂) • VPD: Max 1.06 kPa | Min 0.64 kPa (All dialed in for peak veg mode.) Light Levels – All in the Details 💡 • Max PPFD: 506 | Min 0 (because, you know, when the lights are off, it’s dark! 🌚😆) Keeping the light intensity balanced, and using the ThinkGrow LED system to spread that goodness across the entire canopy, I’m seeing explosive growth. Those PPFD levels are perfect for this stage! It makes my life so much easier, and the girls are loving the consistent hydration! No more worrying about under- or over-watering. SuperSativaSeedClub PurplePunchOG Auto Week8 Weekly update on these three ladies. Been an eventful week for them. I decided to transplant from the original 1gal fabric pot to a 3gal fabric which I never do on autos but I was fighting keeping them happy in the smaller pots. So will see how they take it. Plus I lollipoped the bigger one taking off the lower nodes. All in all Happy Growing.

Second week I did a mild pruning taking off big fan leaves, so that I can allow more light to the canopy. The girls took well and bounce back, still dancing.

Both got a light defoliation. The Skywalker is clearly in Preflower but the Afgahni wants to wait a bit longer... So both have a time for 8 Weeks i thinks thats not gonna happen 😅

📆 Week 18, 21-27 May 2024 21-27 May - Observed and let the plant mature. 📑 At this point in the grow there is nothing much left to do except observe the plant and let it finish maturing. Although the bud size is somewhat smaller than anticipated, they appear tight and very uniform. The trichomes overall are 80% milky/10% amber/10% clear. Almost all pistil hairs are dark, and her smell has peaked with a sweet pine, gas, fruity scent. This was the last week of flower and she’s ready for the final week of flush and harvest. 🍶 21 May changed nutrient solution 🍽️ 21 May updated feeding schedule 💧 Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 🐉 Nutrient Solution EC .9 at 70 degree F 🔆 Light power: one at 75%, and one at 50%, DLI 35-40 canopy coverage at 12hrs 😤 Using General Hydroponics, HGC728040, Dual Diaphragm Air Pump, 320 GPH That is it for this week. The plants have continued to grow very fast this week, easily doubling in size again. I moved them closer to the light to 80 cm from 90cm. Watering as needed and I am keeping the soil surface moist with light watering twice a day. I fed some Biobizz Biogrow and some organic teas this week. Low stress training was very effective and the plant responded well except one which stated quite short. I will see if it bounces back or it may be stunted.

Week 9 - First Week of Flowering 🌸 The dark period has ended, and these ladies came back into the light fully energized and ready for action! It’s just the first week of flower, and they’re all praying, stretching, and absolutely thriving—filling up every inch of the tent. This grow space is officially packed from wall to wall, with each plant competing for its share of light and showing off some of the biggest, healthiest leaves I’ve seen yet! 🌱 A few strategic plucks here and there have kept airflow smooth and light penetration balanced. Those big leaves? They’re a sign of happy, healthy growth. Large leaves help the plant capture maximum light energy, essential during this stage, especially as they start focusing on developing those flowers. When plants grow huge, vibrant leaves like these, it means they’re well-nourished and content in their environment—a true testament to the well-balanced conditions we’ve got going in the tent! Flowering Parameters 🌡️ Room Environment: • Temperature: 26.7°C • Humidity: 63.3% • CO2: 960 ppm • VPD: 1.29 kPa (prime zone for flowering health!) Lighting: • Light Intensity: 835 PPFD (ideal for boosting flower growth) • Solution: pH 5.96, TDS 460 ppm, temp 21.1°C • Medium: Moisture: 100%, TDS: 520 ppm, Temp: 21.6°C Carbon Filter Installation & Smell Management 🌬️🌱 With the transition to flower, the scent profile is already starting to kick in—crazy for the first week, right? 🌸 To keep everything fresh and under wraps, I’ve set up a carbon filter system. Here’s how it’s working: I’ve connected the filter to my Aerofan, which pulls air directly from the tent. This air is cleaned by the filter and released into the main room, where it then passes through another filter before exiting my space. This dual-filter setup means no scent escapes into the wild, keeping things stealthy and the grow room a peaceful, scent-contained environment. Perfect for anyone concerned about keeping their home free from that telltale aroma! 🕶️🌬️ Enhanced Lighting with Emerson Effect 🌞 This week, I’ve introduced an extra 15 minutes of red light at the beginning and end of each light cycle. Why? Well, this red boost taps into the Emerson effect, enhancing photosynthesis efficiency, especially during the flowering stage. By stimulating a little extra wake-up and wind-down light, we’re mimicking the natural sunrise and sunset experience for these plants, which can help reduce flowering time. Not only does it encourage smoother transitions into day and night, but in theory, it’ll help these ladies finish a bit faster, while giving them a little nudge to build more substantial, quality flowers. 🌇 Nutrient Adjustments 🌱 Now that we’re in flower, I’ve swapped out the Start Booster for P-Boost and TopBooster to specifically support flowering needs. Here’s why: • P-Boost brings in additional phosphorus, vital for energy transfer and cell division as the plant channels more resources into budding sites. • TopBooster supports the flowering phase by improving flower quality and density, helping to build those big, aromatic buds we’re after.
