Hello. This is the end of week 1 and the start of week 2 of flowering. Man... These plants are taking off now. The roots have reached the the edges of the pots and they are ready to flower. Hope they don't stretch to much more. It was warm in there last week, with 1 day up to 33*c and 2 days at 31*c.. It's not overly smelly in here. But I have to rub up against the leaves to close the tent and open it each day. I can still smell it on my shirt hours later. If I rub my chest the t-shirt smell great... It's a Gelato type of smell. So I'm hoping for something really tasty when it's cured. OK. Be Cool. Chuck.

Gradually ramped light down from 18 hours to 12 after power outages due to the fire, and it was about good time to flip anyway. It is so much easier to control temperature during the winter in my space. The lights keep the space at a pretty steady 74 F. I only popped two seeds but these are very consistent plants. One was transplanted to a bigger pot a week later and was slightly smaller. Lots of buds forming! They aren’t super fussy about nutrients—still,I haven’t pushed PPM and am keeping Ph in the 6-6.8 range. I’m using peony rings as support and to spread a little but I am not training for a perfectly flat canopy as I had excellent popcorn nugs in my last grow even with the lights over 2x further than optimal. Defoliated the lower branches but I am not defoliating aggressively, but will continue to remove any withering leaves. Sorry for the slow updates. The fire has been pretty traumatic for my city and myself, and I’m just getting back to normal life. My home, family and pets are safe, and the fire is mostly contained. The plants are looking very good so far and I'm happy with the grow so far. There have been no significant complications so far. The lowest few leaves have been removed and light LST applied using plastic benders. -19.02.2025 The plants get their typical “white hairs”, pre-flowering has started. -23.02.2025 The plants are doing well, I haven't been able to look after them for the last few days. Topped and defoleated the girls this week.. Started some veg nuts as well.. All good so far 🤞.i only water mine every 2 /3days. I don't water every day..

Week 27 from seed and a lovely cool 18c this morning... Apart from the bud hungry bugs eating the plant, she does have some amazing bud development. Never seen a pure sativa close up before and always thought the buds would be thinner, although quite airy they are fat buds nonetheless. No signs of seeds either which I am surprised about with it being landrace late in flower.. She is quite sticky and the smell is beginning to come through the buds more. The smell reminds me of citrusy freshness, fruity/sweet. The test smoke I've had is really enjoyable and pleasant. The high is very clear with a fruity taste on your throat. I would say the high makes me more active in and around the garden as apposed to hybrid or indica flower. I cannot wait to smell and taste it when it ripens. If the bugs back off I will let it go 2-3 more weeks possibly but they're munching fast. Only 10 main tops left on the plant.. Spotted 2 types of praying mantis on the plant so hopefully less bugs now... we well see. Next season I will grow again but underneath an anti-bug net.. she had so much potential to be absolutely huge but bugs have not stopped attacking for 7 months! Still a nice plant but it can do much better here.

Beginning of week.. Gonna go down on the Armor Si.. Up on the Kushie Kush and call it a week lol.. She is stackin nicely.. Smelling kinda strong for her size already.. Not a bad strain to have as a freebie!.. Mid week.. Noticing some nute burn on the tips of leaves.. Gonna go down on some nutes.. Not sure which yet.. I got a few days till I feed again.. I went ahead and defoliated the shit outta her.. I feel it's going to help with all the airflow that's able to get around in there now.. I've had great results with defoliating this much.. I've had awful results with defoliating barely anything.. But with this strain, I think she will NOT disappoint! The smell is getting pretty strong! Still don't really smell much of a cheese.. But she is gonna be DANK af for sure! These bulbs are a little too close to the 2 tall skinny colas.. The leaves are beginning to show some yellowing in between the veins.. Not much I can do.. Maybe tie them down somewhere.. I may just let her keep going this way.. Other colas look fine.. If I can raise the bulbs 2 inches or so, I will.. But as for now, they stay till I can figure it out. Not a bad strain at all! 👍 End of week.. Wow she is smelling amazing! Trichomes are everywhere! This is a very frosty lady! I've cut out the Armor Si (Silica) and went down on the Kushie Kush (bloom booster) from Advanced Nutrients.. If I still keep seeing the burnt tips, I will lower what needs to be lowered again. But she is just.. Wow.. The colas still have plenty of time to fatten up. I have some AC Infinty computer fans that I need to install onto this grow box.. They are much better than what I've been using.. They are both on one USB plug but can be controlled by a switch with high, medium and low settings.. Pretty cool and powerful little fans.. I'll have one for exhaust and one for circulation around the plant.. How I already have it setup basically.. Just with these AC Infinity fans.. Gonna try to get them in next week.. Another week down.. Not too many more to go! Awesome strain! Very happy with this freebie.. I wish I would have made some fem seeds, or at least fem pollen with her! I may try a reveg, cut 2 clones from it and try that at a later day.. Anyways.. On to the next!...

Day 89!!!! I came back from vacation and started harvesting right away, so the girl grew really big, but I gave her too little light, and at the end of the growth I didn't remove the leaves :( because I was busy on vacation :( but basically I'm still incredibly happy, her flowers are not very firm, they have a lot of "AIR", but a lot of shiny sticky trichomes, the girl grew really well throughout her growth, next time I will definitely use LST, this growth was with very little LST, there will be an update when the harvest dries up :) good luck to everyone:).

She is growing amazing! Buds are sticky af and the small is really interesting, love it! Hope to hatvest her in 1-2 weeks

Week 15 - August 09, 2020 -Day 99 08/09: We’re almost at the end. I gave Aaliyah her first watering with plain water. I’m planning on chopping the top colas off of her in a week. Hopefully I can get something out of the lower growth that isn’t getting any light right now. Alexis is coming down in two and Annie in three. Annie has some damage due to the light, but she is hanging in there. Alexis looks the healthiest overall. She stayed pretty compact, so light is still able to reach her lower parts. I think I could’ve had a better grow overall if I would have stuck with using only 3-gallon pots. [General notes: The nutrients on the diary are based off what I’m giving Aaliyah. Alexis is on the previous weeks schedule and Annie in the schedule from two weeks ago.]

There is not much to tell this week :) A few came to the flowering tent, 2 are still in the vegi phase for 2 days and then come last to the flowering tent :-) The Blue Cheese and the Kosher Tangie Kush smell very good and how they should 😍👍 It will be difficult to choose 2 mums :-).
