I’ve been packing my daughter’s room and moving her things to her new home. For those that have followed my since my beginning here, Cancer left me with neuropathy and arthritis in my hands. I can no longer do my glass fusing or flame work. To close this chapter of my life, I’ve been inventorying glass, tools, equipment, molds and supplies to sell. The most stressful has been appealing Medicare claims and receiving the second denials on the same claims. They are the last payer of record so good luck getting any reimbursement you are entitled to. My apologies to all of you for being so brief on your diaries and not providing many comments. Photos are from 7/28- 8/9 for both weeks. For my outside ladies, Opium, Auto Opium, Fractal, and Lemon Cake not much changed. They continue to live in sweltering conditions. Temps are in the upper 80-90s with humidity over 105. In addition to the heat, Hurricane Debby started up the coast but was downgraded to a tropical storm by the time it got to us. Expecting our normal thunderstorms, I waited til morning to bring yhe ladies inside. Overnight, we had wind gusts of 25mph. Yeah, then I brought all gals into the house. The photo gals are strong and with thick stalks were able to withstand the winds. Both Opium’s got blown over Auto Opium is thin and spindly and before I could save her from the winds and rain, she got whipped side to side. The top 2 feet bent hard one way and the top 6 inches bent the other direction. The pics show my attempt to bandage the damage 😟 to her top cola with chopsticks and electrical tape. I top dressed all ladies with Bloom Soil for organic fertilizer. Buds are fattening up, trichomes are minimal at this time but some fragrance is starting to be noticed. Last two weeks have gone well. She is growing steadily and becoming a monster. I can't even imagine how big she is going to be by fall. I did some defoilation to allow more light to penetrate further in and I adjusted the lst ties to open her up some. Took a few clones from her that are doing well. Can't wait to get her stuck in the ground. She is going to be the biggest plant I have grown based on her current size. I know I am going to have to brace her branches when flower starts to be safe. This will be the last week until harvest. It has been a decent grow had a few nutrient problems but I am happy with the turn out. I snipped off a tester bud and it got me pretty ripped once it was dry. That immediately made me antsy for the rest of the plant. Lol ... I will make another update next week at harvest. This northern lights will have gone 13 weeks at harvest. That is 5 weeks longer than the breeder said on the pack of seeds. Even though it was longer than expected I'm still super happy, she is alot bigger than most autos so no complaints here.

Another hell week temperatures were at 112 degrees in the day and 90 at night so two of my three plants got zoo bad there’s no coming back very sad day hurt all my feelings

Day 69 (March 6th) Just gave everyone their last watering. I’m going to harvest and wash everything tomorrow night on day 70. I‘m not going to do that whole 48 hours of darkness thing because I didn’t see a difference last time I did it. In fact, it made my plant under watered before drying which caused it to dry too fast. Slurricane and cheese will be washed with h2o2 and the rest will just be rinsed off in warm RO water and hung up. Before and after washing I’m going to go over each branch with a flashlight and make sure there is no dog hair or debris in or on the buds. I will be drying in my spare bathroom (that no one uses!) from hangers. Aiming to keep it around 60-62F and 50-60 RH. Hoping for that 10-12 day dry. I wanted to do a full plant hang but the tent got pretty dirty and I would feel more comfortable just cutting and rinsing everything off branch by branch. I’m going to try my best to keep the full plant intact. Got my humidifier hooked up and running RO water because with tap water it deposits calcium and lime all over the buds and walls. For air flow I’m just indirectly running a small usb fan. I’m not worried about air flow in the bathroom honestly. It stays nice and breezy down there anyway. Got the food grade peroxide and RO water to wash up the slurricane and cheese. Everything except for the cheese and garlic#1 is looking more than done. Trichomes all look pretty well done. Some of them have even burst open. Smells are all super ripe and mature too. Can’t wait to smell each individually in jars. Next week I will recap what went wrong and what I will do differently next time to keep it from happening again. (Day 70F) Just got everything chopped, washed and hanging. The vast majority of the PM was washed out but I can still see very small amounts. When they dry out I can shake the branches a bit to get the rest off. At very least it’s sterile now. There is no question I lost some potency while washing but the amount is negligible for a much cleaner product. I could see lots of dirt and other debris float to the surface of the water after being washed. And no those are not trichomes, those sink to the bottom. I could put that nasty water through a bubble bag and wouldn’t get all that much. Although it probably does remove a lot of the actual trichomes heads. I’ll have to check with the microscope. Everything is rigged up for a nice slow dry. Temp is sitting at 64 and RH is at a nice 60%.

I started with the flushing for these little girls who have started to turn purple .... the smell is very strong and it is really AMAZING The buds are literally covered with powerful glue that just touching them release a strong and pleasant smell .... I think I will not throw anything from the waste because every corner of the plant is covered with sparkling and powerful trichomes with which I hope to make good hashish I leave you wishing you a happy and abundant harvest for all of you see you around

the weather is just wonderful at the moment. i'm happy to be growing them so early in the year. they took to the topping really well, and they also coped well with the breakage last week and have healed.

Easy,fast,fat,dense,stinky,sticky and absolutely tasty. These were 2 clones I took at the middle of flowering and the only retreat or issues I had is I wish I would have vegged these two clones at least 3 weeks more. Dos si Dos 33 from Barney's Farm is one the most beautiful strains to look at. !!!!
