Hey Guys, so I have ran into some difficulties regarding our power supplier. Due to the current situation we are facing in South Africa the power company "Eskom" does not have ample supply to provide constant electricity to our country anymore. This is very sad. So they implement a system called "loadshedding" where the cut off power supply in certain suburbs at certain times. This has got me in a complete and utter flat spin as I'm not always at home when this happens. The past 2 weeks have been immensely rough as we we're scheduled for outages 3 times a day for 2,5 hour intervals. Between 02:00AM - 06:30 my tent's power went off (depending on scheduled time). This has in fact caused some VPD problems ( I tried getting up every night, but I still have to get enough sleep for work ). As you can imagine, it sucks BIG TIME. I've done my best to keep at par & doctored where I could. *Decreased Light Intensity (600W) *Decreased Wind Velocity on canopy Almost approaching the start of week 3. Feeding schedule from 3 day interval - 2 day interval ( 2L per feed ) Selective defoliation to get light on lower tops. Used some garden wire to support 2 main colas which we're too high. Note: Pest/Mould check done. Foliar sprayed with H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide) @ coolest part of day - Next day applied high alkalinity ph'd water to kill mildew spores - Fan heater running from 03:30AM - 06:00AM, pulsing/regulating temp at 19-21°C [ until light comes on ] Grow Logging Light Distance From Canopy = 65cm Substrate Temp = 16 C Substrate PH = 6.0 Normal - Moist Level 79cm = Scrog Net Height 95cm = Tree Height PPFD = 20.1 C = Tent 45% RH

Hello guys ! I'm back finally ! couldn't update my diares for weeks :'( What happened during this time ? A LOT ! we have now switched into flowering stage and the plant already start her flowering stretch. She wom almost 5 CM on all colas and I think she will keep going for another week. Usualy the flowering stretch take around 2weeks. She also start to drink much more than during her veg stage of course. Now it's around 1L every 24hrs. Hope you like it. Take care

I forgot to soak the coco with nutrients before planting the seed, didn't realise coco doesn't have as many nutes to start off so that's why we're looking abit pale, had no idea about his haha But it's all good! We can sort it. they looking like there improving past few days. Watered every day 1 litre around the outside in a circle and the stem. Added calmag grow nutes and voodoo juice. Colour is coming back to the leaves Will keep doing this for next few days while there recovering. 🚑🏥

🌸 Week 3 Flower — Bud stacking begins! 🌸 This week was a turning point — stretch finally slowed down and the plants are now fully focusing on bud formation. The tent started getting really humid due to the extra leaf mass and transpiration 🌿💦. That’s when I realized: a dehumidifier is a must. Without it, RH would climb over 70%, which is dangerous at this stage. Temperatures are still steady (27°C day / 20°C night), but now I’m working on dropping humidity to ~55–60% for safer flowering. Nutrient-wise, I reduced nitrogen even more, focusing on PK boosters and bloom nutrients. Bud sites are stacking nicely, pistils are shooting everywhere 🧡, and the first serious trichome production has started ✨. Mistakes from earlier (too much IR, uneven light distribution) are still visible on some plants, but overall the crop is healthy and vigorous. Next week should be the start of real frost explosion ❄️.

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend. Not much to report on the Sundae Driver, she smells amazing, just kidding. I am feeding her with a syringe just plain water every 2-3 days and just lightly around the edge of the solo cup. I then go by weight of the cup to avoid over feeding. I will hopefully transplant to a solo cup in 7-10 days if all goes well. This is my first run with Royal Queen Seeds Genetics but I have smoked the hell out of some sundae driver genetics in the past and they were some of the best tasting nugs you could ever ask for. I plan to build a mainline and flip to 12/12 as soon as all 5 mainlines are built, hopefully around week 7. This Medic Grow light is perfect for a 5X5, and the AC Infinity 8" exhaust does an excellent job of keeping the tent cool. I will set up an auto feeding system which consists of a reservoir, and some 1/2" tubing that is hooked to a submersible pump in the reservoir and set to feed for 1 minute every 6 hours through halo feeders connected to ball valves to adjust the flow. The runoff then flows via gravity to a 5 gallon bucket in the tent with a shallow pan condensate pump that pumps the runoff out of the tent when it gets above 3 inches to another reservoir. I have been growing fruit and vegetables for over 40 years and I have recently switched to high frequency fertigation in Coco Coir for my tomatoes as well, as I believe this growth medium combined with this technique is the safest, most environment friendly, and foolproof method of getting monster yields no matter what crop you are growing, and I have seen massive results in both cannabis and tomatoes. Bubba Kush Mintz Autoflower is growing great. Took to the neem treatment well. I trimmed her up, and she is ready to stretch a bit more I believe. So far the dosi seems to be further into flowering than the bride cake. I’m noticing a potential cal/mag lock out with the dosi but I’ll continue to monitor over the course of these next few days. If signs worsen I’ll attempt to flush with lighter EC until run off readings of PH & EC are stable and will tone down the feed. 11/5/21 seems that my “mag & calcium deficiency” seems to really be nutrient burn. I am pushing these plants on their bloom diet (2.8-3.0EC) so it is to be expected however I shall continue to keep them at the same EC unless things begin to worsen 🤷‍♂️🏽 I like to limit test 😅

60x60x120cm tent. Basic cheap one not sure what brand, if any. 200w CFL for veg, and a 250w HPS for bloom. Gonna continue with biobizz and maybe a couple of other supplements later down the road. Soil is biobizz allmix. Says pH ready so no need to adjust. Hopefully that's right!

Another week in the books and they seem to be maturing fast. Added some sweet candy and bud explosion by Greenleafnutrients @ 1 gram per 4 litres for each. Today I noticed some very small white pests on top of the pot, i only noticed when i watered as thats when they started moving about. Plants seem fine and with only a few weeks to go im not sure if I could or if its worth trying to treat it, guess ill just let the plants tell me....thanks for stopping by....✌️
