~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2204 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/15- Here we go into the second week of veg for the FastBuds Tester #2204 girls and they're on a roll!When I checked on them today they both were still moist so I let them go until I check them tomorrow. Basically at this point in the run all I have to do is make sure they don't dry out, fill the humidifier and watch them grow! 12/17- Yesterday I watered them both and increased the amount to roughly 0.25g each of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of Botanicare Silica Blast (added to begin to help strengthen their branches) and then ph'd to 6.4 @ 74℉. I've also increased the output of the HLG 650R's to 35% which equates to about 230w at the wall which, of course has raised the temp's in the tent so I've also begun to run the A/C unit in the grow room which is keeping the temp's now at 75℉ in the tent. The RH is running around 75-78% RH giving a VPD of .67-.74 which I'll take! 😁👍 Other than what I've mentioned above, all I did was fill the humidifier with distilled water and watched my girls grow! 🤩 12/19- Today I watered them each with 0.25g of de-chlorinated water to which I added 3ml/g Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t and 1 tsp/g Unsulfured Molasses which I then ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉. I'm now watering through the bottom, filling the drip pan and letting the plant draw up the water into itself. I am also watering from the top, but only just enough to moisten the medium. They're really starting to take off now, a sure sign their roots are beginning to get well developed. Their 4th set of leaves have emerged and as they get bit bigger I may give topping, one or both, some consideration... we'll see! 12/21- Today I watered them both with 0.25g of straight de-chlorinated water each which was ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉. I gave about 3/4 of it into their drip pans so they can draw it up into their medium, the rest I applied to the top of their medium just to moisten it. They're both doing fantastic with good color and vigor! They're not very tall and judging by their leaf shape and overall structure I'd say they are definitely leaning towards the Indica side of the gene pool! I'm holding off on deciding whether or not to top them, but will make a decision in the next couple of days! This week I set up a new grow tent where I am doing my vegging only, I am running it off of my same house of Hydro humidifier, Just split the mist between the two tents. I just watered with only water and silica no other nutes. Going to switch the light to 12 and 12 tonight

The temperatures, humidity, height, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil spread evenly across the top of the soil. Day 1 we had a high temperature of 84°F. We had intermittent storms and showers throughout the day that took care of the watering. The powdery mildew treatment worked well on these. Day 2 we had a high temperature of 88°F. We had on and off rain and thunderstorms throughout the day. The rain took care of the watering. These responded well to treatment. I'll treat again tomorrow. Day 3 we had a high temperature of 94°F with clear sunny skies. I watered about 5 gallons from the well. I treated these again with Growers Ally fungicide. The warmer nights, blazing sun, and this fungicide have really cleared up that powdery mildew. They've also decided to go all in on flowering. Day 4 we had a high temperature of 94° with sunny skies. Heat index was over a hundred. It was super hot today. I watered twice about 8 gallons total. Everything looked good after treatment. Day 5 we had a high temperature of 95 and partly cloudy skies. I watered twice about 4-5 gallons each time with well water. Day 6 we had a high temperature of 91°F with partly cloudy skies. I watered twice today 4-5 gallons each pot, each time. These look great after treatment. Day 7 we had a high temperature of 88°F with sunny skies. I watered 5-6 gallons each pot. This week was a success. The powdery mildew issue has been cleared up. The Growers Ally fungicide worked great. These girls have rooted into the ground through the pots which is helping some of the 100+heat index days. It's hard to keep these pots moist in that kind of heat. Overall it was a great week.

Week 6 update: This week I focused on training and canopy management. I did some defoliation to open up the plant structure and improve airflow/light penetration. I also shaped the plants with main-lining and continued LST to keep the tops even and strong. The goal is to push all the energy into the main colas so they finish fat and dense later. Funny moment this week – I actually found a little grasshopper hanging out on one of the leaves! 🦗 Looks like even the bugs think these girls are tasty. Nutrients used: • Terra Aquatica Grow A + Grow B – moderate dose (~700–800 ppm) • CalMag – 1 ml/L • Silic Rock – 1 ml/L • Great White + Trikologic – root support • PowerZyme back in rotation (light dose) Training & care: • Defoliation: cleared out fan leaves blocking budsites • Main-lining + LST to keep canopy flat • Watching closely for any recovery signs on Mike Tyson auto (still behind but alive) Plan for next week: • Expect to see stronger preflowers forming and some pistils starting to stack up • Increase bloom-focused feeding gradually once stretch slows

Unfortunately I had to harvest the BADAZZ-CHEESE (=BADAZZ-KUSH x CHEESE) from BIG BUDDHA SEEDS early, because of looking bud-rot. The plant needed at least another 10 days to finish, she still had plenty of white pistils and would have gained in harvest weight and also produced more trichomes, if given more time. The final harvest weight of 31 gram dried bud, was still a VERY GOOD RESULT seen the circumstances. The buds are dank and have lots of trichomes, all in all a VERY NICE KUSH/CHEESE VARIETY!

New flowering continues to develop on this lady, she seems to be swelling up day by day. Yellowing of the fan leaves has started which usually means it's time to flush, I need to check the trichomes to see how amber they appear before I do just in case the flavour or yield could be effected.

budding up nicely now. One pheno looks to be growing different bud formations and is much more frosty. O stupidly didn't take a cut of this in veg so I've taken a flower cut to reveg and try monstercropping.

Both girls have been topped to slow them down. I personally prefer to LST but given the no space situation they got a hair cut. Very bushy structure they are itching to switch tent. Another week or so I’d say before I transplant in their final pot. It’ll be either a 3 or 5 gal pot but I must consider the feeding plan with a strain that is said to finish 6-7 weeks. Considering the shorter flowering I’m tempted to stay in a smaller pot to ensure she has time to eat up the premixed amendments. Try and get some better pics next week ✌️

After 10 days, the time had come! I am very happy with the yield of the harvest.

Tag 63 - Ende der 9. Woche. Die Blüten entwickeln sicher super und duften extrem. Der Hauptstamm wird schwer, sodass ich die Pflanzen etwas stützen muss, damit sie nicht biegen. Das Harz an den Blüten hat diese Woche nochmal deutlich zugelegt. In dieser Woche habe ich den Dünger angepasst und Big Bud durch Overdrive ausgetauscht um die Blüten zu härten. Diesen Vorgang werde ich vermutlich nächste Woche nochmal wiederholen und dann langsam aber sicher mit dem spülen beginnen. Wir beginnen nun mit der 7. Blütenwoche. An Tag 57 wurde die Pflanze gedüngt. Nährstofflösung: 2 ml/l - B-52 Advanced Nutrients. 4 ml/l - pH Perfect Sensi Bloom Part A 4 ml/l - pH Perfect Sensi Bloom Part B 2 ml/l - Bud Candy Advanced Nutrients. 2 ml/l - Overdrive Advanced Nutrients. Davon hat die Pflanze 1l an Tag 57 erhalten.

Wow I say they are 13 foot tall some dank dank going on this year 🐜 killed one it was died and I pulled it up shit load ants stated coming out it was crazy but got cut for indoor this year and bad needing weed pulling going on crazy how sweet there smelling
