🌿 Grow Update: Day 2, Week 8 of Flower 🌸 Hey fellow growers, We’ve hit Day 2 of Week 8 in the flower stage, and wow, she’s smelling delicious! The buds have definitely grown since the last update, but nothing too dramatic. Still, her appearance, aroma, and stickiness are on point. Not too shabby for my first run! There’s a fair amount of larf below that I’ll be tossing, but the top buds? Holy smokes, they’re looking fantastic. I'm aiming for at least 3 ounces, and if I hit that or more, I'll be over the moon! I'll be starting my 2-week flush very soon to ensure the best quality for the final product. Wish me luck as we head into these final weeks. Auto Maxi Gom is doing really well. I started adding the master bloom from Xpert Nutrients to the diet a few days ago. I did trim up her lower side a little more. She has stretched a few more inches since last update. Her colas are starting to develop, and looks like she will start bulking very soon. Nothing more to report at this time. Day 1..........

26.05 Cleaned the Tank and changed the water. Beside that nothing special to say about that grow - everything is just beautiful and developing super well. 27.05 Removed some more Fanleaves to provide the lower buds with more light. It's the middle of the blooming stage, since they should be ready within 70-80 days and are actually in day 32 after the light schedule was changed.

All of the girls are growing nicely, except for one of the fast buds mystery autos Apple strudel #1 Training up to be very easy. Most of the branches are long enough for me to stretch out and take up more surface area of its pot. Apple strudel#2 About a week and a half ago he got the bottom part ate up By ants or some other bug. So I topped this plant as to make more tops And hopefully bring back the nodes that I lost Sweet skunk a little bit smaller than the rest, but it is also younger though I am kind of going for a bonsai style with this plant. I don’t believe it’s gonna be super large but hopefully I can make it look cool. It does have some decent branch areas where they are stretching Mystery auto #1 plant is growing up with a beautiful structure for the most part I have grown naturally without much interference. Occasionally I hold down the top with a garden staple to let the lower branches get some light and to give the plant some healthy LST, once the branches get longer will hopefully be able to stretch it out even more!!

+=+=+=+=EDIT=+=+=+=+ Found a bunch of mini pollen sacks on plant #3 [Yellow], only started looking for them after I saw what appeared to be a seed and in turn was a immature seed in plant #1 [Blue], I think I have #3 Yellow and #2 Red clones left so will have to kill off the yellow ones when I get to it. I left exotic seeds know their plant went off, will see what they say about it. +=+=+=+=EDIT=+=+=+=+ ok, not a lot is happening this week. Plants are doing well and bulking up. after checking this morning they are also much greener then yellow. So the top dressing and added calcium is helping. likely more so the immediate nitrgron from the calcium as its calcium nitrate. Hopefully it won't get to much from the other amendments as I added in more IF then before and less 2-8-4 I think they have about 3-4 weeks left now, so entering the end of its life soon. I definitely think I messed up this grow a bit, mainly when it was transitioning to flower I feel I needed to double the feed vs split it out over 4 weeks and add in some sulphur to the soil to keep the PH down when making it in veg, It does not matter how much PH down I am using they are still going high from the goal I am trying to hit. I just want it sitting more aorund 6.5 vs 7-7.5. Plant number 3 or "Yellow" is really the best out of them all. bigger plant, more buds, more frost and healthy looking. I think this might be because plant number 1 "Blue" was just a bit setback by some root issues but it still is not overly frosty its like 1 is worst 3 is best and 2 is a mix of them both. just bad to good left to right. I'm also curious to take some clones from the other plant back at my parents but I know I don't need em, just want to know if it smells any better then the current ones. I want to get strains that really smell and taste amazing. Having 2nd thoughts about making this all into bubble hash. Might save a oz or two for friends as buds to compare to the hash I want to make from this. Speaking of the the small plant I gave to my parents, it started to enter flower, they are going to have to transplant it into the backyard in full sun soon. so it will be going thought a weird reveg period then back into flower end of summer. If I go home and visit I will likely have to do this for them. They have it in the same pot that I sent it to them in and gave it a feeding of miracle grow 20-20-20 and that's great for some NPK, but it does not have any micros or secondary macros. Thank that's about it, last week had a bit more details involved and the music on the videos is a bit much but I am liking it. Video games soundtracks for the win. May 25: growing quickly and looking quite good for the end of May. Fifth node is forming and the first topping for the manifold will likely be tomorrow. May 26: raised soil level using Pro-Mix and compost. Got rained on. May 27: first topping down to third node (removed 5 and 4). The only growth tips left are the two on the third node. In about a week these will be topped again. And then again. Manifolding (or mainlining) is totally easy and really is just topping at the right stages of development. Highly recommended technique. May 31: it’s been cool since the topping and seems a bit slow getting going again but I’m sure it’ll be fine. I probably could have waited a few more days before topping but oh well.

Ok, so I forgot to update this last week. woops, I will try and remember all the details but im sure to be forgetting something. I decided to strip the plants a bit as I felt their bottom half under the canopy was a bit to thick and under performing It has a bunch of shity stems and buds trying to develop and they where looking sad and spindly, not enough light, If i had under canopy lighting sure that's fine I'd leave em and they would thicken up, but I don't; so they had to go. I selected defoliation as a techniques used but I did not touch anything in the canopy. only below it, it was all not performing well and would have just increased the risk of bad airflow and maybe rot come late flower. I also have been noticing more issues with the one plant then the others and my hydro shop guys said it need more feed, I don't know how much I agree with them about that, they do not grow with amendments but it was time for the topdressing anyways. I mixed up the stuff and worked it into the top soil of the plants outside on the deck, when watering it in I also mixed it with my hands, I found this helps hydrate the Gaia Green powders and prevented them from forming dry pucks in the top layer. I think I need to always do this morning forward with all top dressings as just mixing it into the dry soil then watering is causing to much resistance and the top layer then gets a little bit crusty and hydrophobic, but mixing in while watering at the same time has prevented that from what I can tell. I also gave them a bit of a liquid soluble calcium as the PH was creeping back up again and didn't want that to be locked out. It helped to green up some of the plants again still the one is a bit to yellow for my liking. The top dress consisted of AP 4-4-4, PB 2-8-4 and some IF 3-2-4 Mixed it all up with something else can't remember, probably fulvic acids and magnesium. I also did a bit of a calibration on my tools as well as I felt they might be off a bit. The EC was not to bad, off by 41ppm or 0.082EC vs the base solution, my unit is a 500 scale pen eg. 500ppm=1.0EC PH was a bit more off by PH 0.18 from the PH 4.01 calibration solution. I did not do a before for the PH 7.01 calibration solution as I started at 4.01 but its still close enough in the end at PH 7.03. The storage solution is almost always the same as the PH 4.01 calibration solution. In their manual it says if you don't have any storage solution just use the PH 4.01 calibration solution. I feel they maybe the same thing but one has red dye and some stabilizers in it. Who knows. O and when working on my deck garden I was upcycleing the old cannabis growing mediums into the planters from the strawberry tent grow off, the one shaft from an older plant was purple inside when I broke it. It sat outside all winter so who knows what it was, I'm guessing its just anthocyanins or something similar.
