🌿 Sour Diesel — Catch-Up Report (Weeks 2.5 → 4 | 12/12 Transition) First — a quick word to everyone following the diary We want to start this update by apologizing for doing a two-and-a-half week report in one go. This is not a change in transparency or process — it’s simply to bring Sour Diesel back in sync with the rest of the room. All plants are evolving under the same tent, same environment, same rhythm. Having one diary lag behind doesn’t serve the journey — so we’re catching her up, cleanly and honestly. Thank you for understanding 💚 ⸻ 🌱 General Behavior & Growth Sour Diesel has been growing beautifully. • Strong, healthy structure • Deep green, lush foliage • No stress signals • Calm, confident growth She transitioned into 12/12 smoothly and is now fully sharing the same rhythm as the rest of the room. ⸻ ✋ Training Response (Week 3) Training started in Week 3, using only: • leaf tucking • gentle leaf bending No aggressive techniques. Her response was excellent. By the end of Week 4: • She became noticeably bushier • Leaves increased in size • Side branches began to push outward and upward • Branch length reached roughly 4–5 fingers, which is perfect for this stage Nothing exaggerated, nothing forced — just natural structure opening up. ⸻ 🌸 Flowering Signals (or lack of — and why that’s okay) Despite being under 12/12: • No visible flowering signs yet • No pistils • No true flip signals This is expected. Why? • She had ~15 days of 18/6 vegetative phase • She’s now completing ~2 weeks of 12/12 • Sour Diesel often hesitates, then commits fully She feels close — almost like she’s thinking about it. We expect clear signs very soon, likely at the start of the next week. Ending this week: ➡️ bushier ➡️ more structured ➡️ clearly preparing ⸻ Nutrition & Autopot Reality (Important Note) She is currently being fed the same vegetative recipe, with one key adjustment. Autopots & organics — the reality Some of the inputs we normally use are organic / biological. These work beautifully with: • some gravity feeding • hand watering • living solutions But they do NOT work well in irrigation systems like Autopots. Flowering day 19 since the time change to 12/12. Hey all together 😀. This week she has developed beautifully ☺️. I poured it 3 times with 1.2 l this week. Tomorrow I will add the 2 g GHSC Powder Feeding Bio Bloom because the first blossoms are coming :-). I checked all the leaves thoroughly for pests or diseases and everything is fine ☺️. Next week I'll look at your roots as soon as the coconut is completely rooted. As every week, the tent was cleaned and the entire technology checked. The humidifier was also refilled every day 👍. - Drying for 3 days, the 2 airports-plants chopped and dried in the dehumidifier and the other 2 hanged upside down as they were. - Humidity -> 40-50% and temps -> 21-24C°.

I sowed cantaloupe bag seeds directly to flower box drip irrigation.I transplanted my white widow seedling to flower box. So the new line up this run is cantaloupe, blueberry, Girl Scout cookies and white widow. Cantaloupe seeds sprouted and i will keep the most vigorous grower.bb is throwing pistils.GSC is producing first set of true leaves. At the end of week 2 cantaloupe has first leaves so does white widow. My Gsc has first set of true leaves and my blueberry is putting out pistils and trichs.Things are going well

FBT2402 had a rough life. She had mites the whole grow. She was already flowering when I figured it out. So I could not treat the flower then. She has a strong piney, citrus, and sweet smell. It looks like it will be a few ounces once it is all done. Day 72: The Finale 🌿🌟 It’s finally time. My very first grow is coming to an end—at least the cultivation phase. The plant is now ready for harvest, and I can’t believe how incredible this journey has been. I never expected to enjoy the whole process so much—from nurturing the plants to watching them grow and evolve. I’m absolutely hooked and can’t wait to dive into the next steps: harvesting, drying, curing, and of course, starting a new grow soon with fresh ideas and experiments! While it may not be the largest yield, the quality of the buds speaks for itself. The time, love, and care I’ve put into this grow is visible, and I’m pretty proud of the results. I’ll admit, I was a bit impatient at times (which I think every first-timer can relate to 😅), but the experience was priceless. Here are a few interesting highlights from my trimming and harvest process: 1️⃣ Dark Phase Before Harvest Two days before harvest, I put the plant in complete darkness to encourage resin production. I'm not sure if it really made a difference, but it was worth trying! 2️⃣ Wet Trim vs. Dry Trim I decided to go for a wet trim because the buds were really dense, and I wanted to avoid any risk of mold. I’ve read that wet trimming can speed up drying and may slightly impact the quality, but this is part of the learning experience. Next time, I’ll try a dry trim for comparison! 3️⃣ Yield Update Wet, the total came in at 179 grams from my plant. Trimming took around three hours, and it was actually a lot of fun, despite the time commitment. 4️⃣ Curing Plan The buds are now hanging in the tent for about 8 days. Once dried, they’ll go into jars with Boveda Packs (62% humidity) for another 3 weeks of curing. I'll update the smoke report once they’re fully cured, but I’ve already had a sample of the same strain from a friend, and I can say it’s pretty amazing. Final Thoughts on My Grow 🌱✨ As mentioned earlier, this grow has been an absolutely incredible experience, and it has definitely set me on a path to jump right into my next grow. There were ups and downs along the way, such as over-pruning, which I believe stressed the plants a bit. Additionally, I think they could have benefited from an extra week to mature. We also faced many temperature fluctuations this summer, which impacted the plants due to external weather conditions. I'm really pleased with the quality of the buds. The quantity is okay—I can’t fully gauge it yet—but I’m sure there’s more potential to unlock. I've gained valuable experience in what worked well and what didn’t. Overall, the countless lessons learned during this grow far outweigh the few mistakes made. I'm incredibly proud of my first results! 3/27/25 massive amounts of roots shooting out the bottom from doing bottom watering. 3/30/25 these ladies are starting to find their roots and getting a little vigor finally. they allhave a healthy growth of lower nodes. She may not need any topping or if she does then it will be a nice even canopy very easily.
