Both seeds came out quick and vigorous, I hade to leave for three days and left the tent closed and the humidity went through the roof, I think this caused the leaves to twist up a little but at this moment I am not very concerned about that, Based on the other strains I did from the Sherbinskis Humboldt line, I am expecting a bit longer vegitation period, so a minimum of 6 weeks, depending on how they develop, The Bilberry Lamp is making a great impression I must say, the special grow spectrum in full effect. Hope they go good, fingers crossed 👍

When i came back from vacation the plants seemed to have grown a lot in 10 days. They really started budding. Measured the height of each plant but only plant 4 seemed to have grown 2 cm probably because of the main cola which grew bigger. Decided to defoliate the bottom till middle height leaves which where quite yellow and crispy. Some of them where keeping the buds from getting light. Also i gave them a little nutrients just to see how they react and i think they might need a little. I think they need atleast 2 more weeks but in a few days i will receive my magnifying loupe and then will have a good look at the trichomes how far progress is done. Update 21-07: unfortunately i observed bud rot in plant 1 and 3. At plant 1 it smelled quite bad and had to remove the whole top cola and just in case 2 little cola's beneath the top one. At plant 3 a bud under the main cola was looking a bit brownish and the small leaves attached to it where easy to pull out. So i removed just that cola. Hope the bud rot doesn't jump to the other buds but the coming weather is looking hot and dry. But rot can really happen overnight to become noticeable. See the last pics in the album of this week.

The only other data I could gather is that the male used was from a Opalo population which was selected in the 2nd generation, with dense flower structure and great terpenes! I'm sure this grow will add to the available knowledge of this strain! ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ WEEKLY UPDATE: 3/23- Week Seven of Veg and the plants, with their plastic pots, aren't losing water as greatly through evaporation as they would if they were in fabric pots. As a result my watering frequency currently is once every 3-4 days and only after checking their medium with a soil moisture probe to make sure that it is not still too wet. I did not water today and only rotated all of the pots 1/4 turn. 3/25- I checked the plants today and went ahead and watered them with .25g of straight well water that was ph'd to 74℉. They are all really taking off now and I have to tell you the DW IBL's are my favorites so far as they just look incredible! 😍 3/27- All the plants medium's were still pretty moist today so watering was skipped. I'll continue my routine of checking their medium daily via a soil moisture probe. Both strains are looking AMAZING with so many different leaf morphology's, and the variegation in a few really is cool looking! Some of the plants remind me of a pepper plant, others of Basil. They all have great vigor and color and seem to be enjoying the 225w from the HLG 225 that's hung 28" above them. The tent temperature when the light is on is staying a steady 78℉, and the RH running 50-58%. I have one 16" oscillating fan moving air and a 6" AC Infinity exhaust fan removing the heat. 3/29- Well there goes seven weeks in veg for the mutants! So far no other male plants have been identified and hopefully it will remain that way! I'm really looking forward to the next few weeks when I'll be moving a couple of plants outside to finish, the remainder indoors. I dropped these in a glass of water and let sit until they sank, then transfered to paper towel. I placed the paper towel in a ziplock bad but did not zip it. That was the afternoon of the 9th of June. I'm planting today the 11th June directly into 30 gallon pots. The taps are slightly longer than the seed, but we've got overcast rainy/misty weather forecast all day. That should give them moisture to keep them alive until roots establish. I've added the nutes to this week. These nutrients are all dry fertilizer that are premixed into the soil and numbers are ml of fertilizer per gallon of soil/perlite.

Harvest day 68 since time switch to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) Finally it's time 💚 The lady is done the large leaves have been removed and hung upside down to dry in the dark drying room. You can now stay there for 13-15 days at a temperature of 18-20 degrees and 55-62% humidity. After 13-15 days it is neatly trimmed by hand and placed in jars with boveda packs 62. After 4 weeks Boveda 58% come in and are ready for testing ;-). After everything has been cut cleanly, the last update comes with the smoke report and the finished pictures. Let's get to the plant 💚. First of all I would like to compliment Green House for this genetics. Unfortunately, the rating system at Growdiaries is a bit strange because I have to give the stars before the Smoke Report and in the end it might have led to more stars in terms of taste. The growth was great from start to finish. She had no problems at all and also had no problems with animals 👍. I'm amazed at the great smell the beautiful buds give off😀. Of course I cut cuttings and if the taste is as good as the smell it will be grown again ☺️. A final report comes with the Smoke Report. I think it's Cal def? Added magnifical up to 920ppm. D51: I believe I have been hitting too hard with nutes :) added water to res and back down to 720ppm. Got advice that I'm probably dealing with PK overdose and it adds up. D52 Problem is no longer progressing as quickly, however still some signs. D53 Res nearly empty. Added water down to 350ppm till empty. D54 Problem appears to be better but still feeding slow. 🤑. D55 Flushed the solo cup. Refed at 500ppm full bloom. Fed rest at 500ppm full bloom. D56 Another quick day at 500ppm and tomorrow I'll bump to 650ppm.
