Day 71 - Starting week 11 and overall looking good still but have a ton of bracts/calyx that are not throwing out pistils. They seem to slowly be coming out on some but looking like I’ve got a ton of them without pistils and no buds actually forming, not sure if I’m explaining it right, all still fairly new to me. The only thing I can think to do is just let it ride for awhile longer and see what happens. Day 73 - Looks like a few more bracts/calyx’s are starting to open and show more pistils. Some have thrown out a single pistil and started to shrivel already. She’s got a lot of milky trichs but still think she’s got a good couple of weeks left, hopefully she’ll fatten up quite a bit. Ended up giving her a gallon and a half of plain pH’d water today as well. Not sure why I didn’t research or why I didn’t think of it but she’s definitely foxtailing so hopefully cutting off one light will help slow it down a bit or something. She’s nice and frosty and stinky so not too worried about any ill effects from it but still not happy. I’m sure a combination of lights, a little heat and a screw up somewhere on my part stressed her out too much. Oh well, every grow is different and is a learning experience. Day 74 - Still chugging along and even though she’s foxtailing, she’s starting to open up more and throw pistils. Other than that, not much else happening with her. Day 76 - She’s still chugging along and not much to really update today. I know she’s foxtailing quite a bit but just letting her go to try and get as fat as she can. Still a lot of clear trichs and bright white pistils so a bit of time still left. She’ll need some water tomorrow for sure. Day 77 - The end of week 11 and I’m probably gonna give her another week then possibly chop. She is just about all milky and just don’t see her fattening up much more. I did give her one more round of nutes today but that’ll be it until the end and just straight water from her on out. If I see some fattening up, then may let her go longer. I may possibly do a partial chop and then see what happens with the lower stuff.

SONG OF THE WEEK: Joyner Lucas - I'm not racist 👈 play it twice 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 ------- Day 72 - The ladies are packing nice nugs , the supercropped one is looking like she still wanna produce new flowers and new pistills 😁, the nugs are hard , really hard and smelling a sweet mango/exotic flavor but it's stealth as you have to be close to smell it. The "christmas three" one is more sensitive to high RH and a bit of mold were removed out of 3 spots so it's fair to say that she's not really strong in front of the others but the buds are hard rocks and smelling really good like mango & sweet all around the garden 😍. The last one got the nicest bud structure , likes tons of little calyxs stuck together but she's also the one with less smell. ------ Day 73 - 21.09 - 27 days left before the harvest so today will be their last feeding with Greenhouse Hybrids powder to have enough nutrients for the last days before tap water on day 76/77 then a full flush on day 80 until day 100. The Ec were 1.45 before my PK boost and 1.62 after with 6.4 PH for that last feeding 🌺🌹 ------ Day 77 - Last day of the week , they start to yellowing a bit , the next flush will hopfully increase the yellowing process to get naturally rid of the chlorophyll. Esa familia, finalizamos la 3 semana de floración la verdad que poco cambios en la flor, en verdad odio la autoflorecientes en indoor, me parece que son mejor opción os un Exterior o un balcón pero, ante todo os tengo que mostrar la experiencia con autos también y que mejor genética que la misty gorilla autofloreciente de Zambezaseeds. Y es que entre la variedad y la alimentación que estamos aportando, gracias a AgroBeta están respondiendo bastante bien, en las próximas semanas imagino que empezaré a notar diferencias ya. Ph regulado en 6.2 temperatura entorno a los 26.5 grados y la humedad está en 50%. Sufro de una pequeña placa de mosca del sustrato, a estas alturas poco afectará pero vaya, que sepan que con el calor del verano pues también sufrí algún problema respecto a esto anterior. Me despido entre buenos humos, hasta la próxima semana.

🌿 Lava Cake – Week 5 (First Week Flower) | Pre-Bloom & Heat Talk 🌿 The Lava Cakes have officially stepped into their flowering tent… though, to be fair, they’re still enjoying a little extra veg time before showing pistils. Both phenos are healthy, lush, and stretching beautifully, clearly ready for the show ahead. ⸻ 📸 Photo Studio Glam We took them out for another studio shoot, bright lights, clean background, and every angle showing off their deep greens and perfect branching. Soon, their beauty will be dressed in flowers, but for now, the leaf structure alone is worthy of the spotlight. ⸻ 🌡️ Current Conditions • Room Temp: 31°C • Humidity: 50.3% • VPD: 2.23 kPa • PPFD: 766 µmol/m²/s • Soil EC: ~2.0 • Soil Temp: 25.6°C Yes, the temperature is running hot — AC unit is on the way to lock it back into our ideal zone. ⸻ 💬 Heat in the Grow Room – Risks & Benefits Potential Risks: • Faster substrate drying = more frequent irrigation needed • Higher transpiration rates can stress plants if roots can’t keep up • Slightly increased risk of light stress at high PPFD without proper cooling • Possible reduced terpene retention if sustained into late flower Possible Benefits (short term in veg/pre-flower): • Accelerated metabolism — plants grow and stretch faster • Increased water/nutrient uptake (if well-fed and watered on time) • Can improve CO₂ usage efficiency if levels are high enough Bottom line: As long as they’re hydrated, fed, and ventilated, short bursts of high temp are manageable. But for flowering, we want to keep daytime temps closer to 24–28°C for optimal quality. ⸻ 💧 Watering Strategy We water when the soil dries to about 25% moisture remaining, this encourages: • Stronger root growth searching for water • Better oxygenation of the root zone • Less risk of root rot in warm temps Right now: They’re drinking daily due to the heat, so we’re feeding daily as well. ⸻ Current Feeding (per L of water) • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml • Aptus All-in-One Liquid – 1 ml • Aptus Top Booster – 0.25 ml With the increased drinking rate, nutrient uptake has increased — meaning no signs of deficiency, just steady lush green. ⸻ 🚀 Looking Ahead • AC installation will stabilize temps, allowing tighter VPD control • First signs of pistils should appear within the next 7–10 days • We’ll begin adjusting feed ratios for early bloom once flowers set • Light intensity will climb further as stretch continues ⸻ 💚 Closing Note: This week is all about momentum, heat or no heat, the Lava Cakes are pushing upward, prepping themselves for a heavy flower load. Well, I managed to do something that I really didn't expect :) the yield is small, just like the pot :) it was a wonderful trip ;) but from now on I will only grow it in big pots :) good luck to everyone :) I will add weight when it is ready :)

Day 1. She is out !!!! Let's all stupidity start NOW ;))) Still have no pH up down, just boiled water, 7.4 pH ;))))) So , because life is so unfair, I decided to cheat from time to time, think all evenings she will spent under 12W table light ... Simple Lux meter app shows 1000 lux during day ;)))) under table light I get 8000-10000 reading ;))) easy cheat, no regrets !!! ;)))) Evening. Girl is getting green colour, but slowly, still worried about pH... let's see ... Day 2. Gave 0.5g of BioSys from Ecothrive and 7 ml of 6.3 ph water Day 3. At 18 pm lost all electrics at home, she spent 22 hours without light, +11 at night, +16 during day .... Day 4. Mycelium is here !!! She looks nice ! Day 6. 20ml of 6.3 ph . Looks nice, just lanky, bought fan too ;))) Damn math getting higher... 3 seeds + 11£ for ph+-, 3.50£ for BioSys, now 12 for fan ... Plus couple pennies for nutes. Electrics at home included into rent, so light and fan run for free, hope she wont stink a lot ;)))) Happy Growing !!!

Buds fattening up nice

I may not be great with the camera and media, but this was a fun run for me. Just as fun as watching everyone's approach and finishing results. Huge thanks to our sponsors. 1 plant to rule them all 😆🙄😂 Stay lit my friends... won't be long now!

I put her on a box and put my lamp higher, so that she still gets around 40 DLI and that on the ground is a level of round about 15 DLI. I did this, so that I can use the tent for the first weeks of Veg. from my NL outdoor grow. I increased the amound of fertulizer and the yellow leafes are completly disappeared. Also the buds are growing much bigger. I am very happy with her right now.

Endish week 8 - taken for safety - shame not to run to good trichomes - weight wise ok, don’t like too post weight very little leaf as you see

Heeey all! Sorry for the huge amount of photos but this week was crazy. So many things happened and my lack of knowledge clearly showed up. I ended stressing one of my plants for no reason! 😱 At the start of the week everything was normal until I noticed that one of Roko's buds looked weird. It seemed to be too dry and orange for my tastes and I didn't know what it was. Obviously I started to ask around and I got so many mixed messages haha. Some people said it was nothing and I should not worry about it and others said they were 100% sure it was botrytis or budrot... aaaaaaaand I got paranoid lol. 😵😨 At first I tried to keep calm and ignore it for one day but the next one the bud looked even worse and that's when I feared the worst. What if it's really budrot? In general the values I write in here are approximates or an average of the week.. and usually my tent never goes over 60% of RH (in the dark it stays between 50% to 60% when I water them and on some rare occasions it reaches 65%). This time, after I checked the thermometer it said "75% of RH" but I did not know if it was during their sleep time or maybe some time after the lights went on) so once again I feared the worst! What if the plants stayed all the night with that amount of RH? Was that enough time for them to develop budrot? What if it's still nothing? Yikes. 😭 I had to do something and I did, I wasn't going to risk everything! I started removing the worst looking leaf to see if there was anything mushy or ugly between it and the pistils but I didn't see anything (maybe I was safe and that was something else? Or maybe the budrot was even deeper and I could not see it?) After reading I realized that the best idea was to cut the bud in half and then slice it to "see" if there was anything inside... so I did it and absolutely nothing showed up 😖! Those were good news! Sadly tho the poor plant had to go thru some stress after cutting that bud in half (at least from what I saw the insides were tightly packed and the photos showed some really cool stuff) The rest of the week was uneventful (compared to what I feared haha) and some leaves started to change even more in color (I love it). I think I'll start with the flush next week or the one after that one. There are some amber trichomes...! Thanks all for checking my diary! Hopefully you'll all find the pictures interesting! PD: None of the plants have seeds in them, even when one of the sliced buds seemed to be making them!
