Solar Plexus 2160, Tallest bud LI 1600-1800ppfd. Supplementary side LI 1400ppfd. What the Cannabis community commonly thinks of as nutrient burn, pH issue, or deficiency is actually the result of Chlorine and Chloramine in Cannabis. Chlorine and Chloramine problems will present themselves in multiple ways. The symptoms are burnt leaf tips (reddish brown tinge about 1-4mm in length that points up), rusted spots, naturally torn leaves that shrivel where broken, and reddish brown micro spots on your leaves. You may also experience narrower fan leaves. When in flower, buds take 2-3 weeks longer to hit their stride and will never hit their full potential. You won't get massive buds if your plant has been in contact with too much Chlorine and Chloramine. Chlorine is only a micronutrient and your plant requires it in only very small quantities. If using tap water, you'll hear commonly that you need to bubble off your water for the chlorine to evaporate because it can kill the good bacteria in the water. This problem is only the tip of the iceberg. Chloramine is said to do the same thing but it cannot be bubbled off, and both (especially Chloramine) cause a wide range of other problems. Now the real kicker is what is actually going on inside the plant. Chloramine and Chlorine were studied in an article titled "Redox agents regulate ion channel activity in vacuoles from higher plant cells," the author tells us that Chloramine irreversibly damages flowering plant vacuoles resulting in the inability of the exposed channel to transport ions. A good quote from the abstract of the article "The regulation of channel activation by glutathione may correlate ion transport with other crucial mechanisms that in plants control turgor regulation, response to oxidative stresses, detoxification, and resistance to heavy metals." Further reading will tell you that Chloramine is directly responsible for a wide range of internal problems. I'm no chemist or horticultural, but this clearly tells me that flowering plants are significantly inhibited from reaching their potential when exposed to Chloramine. Do yourself a favor and use only the best quality of water for your plant by using a filtration device to remove Chlorine and Chloramine. Lesson Learned here for me, lets hope she can recover. Solutions. Ultraviolet light The use of ultraviolet light for chlorine or chloramine removal is an established technology that has been widely accepted in pharmaceutical, beverage, and dialysis applications.UV is also used for disinfection at aquatic facilities. Ascorbic acid and sodium ascorbate Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) and sodium ascorbate completely neutralize both chlorine and chloramine, but degrade in a day or two, which makes them usable only for short-term applications. SFPUC determined that 1000 mg of vitamin C tablets, crushed and mixed in with bath water, completely remove chloramine in a medium-size bathtub without significantly depressing pH. Activated carbon Activated carbon has been used for chloramine removal long before catalytic carbon, a form of activated carbon, became available[citation needed]; standard activated carbon requires a very long contact time, which means a large volume of carbon is needed. For thorough removal, up to four times the contact time of catalytic carbon may be required.[citation needed] Most dialysis units now depend on granular activated carbon (GAC) filters, two of which should be placed in series so that chloramine breakthrough can be detected after the first one, before the second one fails. Additionally, sodium metabisulfite injection may be used in certain circumstances. [full citation needed] Campden tablets Home brewers use reducing agents such as sodium metabisulfite or potassium metabisulfite (both proprietorially sold as Campden tablets) to remove chloramine from brewing fermented beverages. However, residual sulfite can cause off flavors in beer so potassium metabisulfite is preferred. Sodium thiosulfate Sodium thiosulfate is used to dechlorinate tapwater for aquariums or treat effluent from wastewater treatments prior to release into rivers[citation needed]. The reduction reaction is analogous to the iodine reduction reaction. Treatment of tapwater requires between 0.1 and 0.3 grams of pentahydrated (crystalline) sodium thiosulfate per 10 L of water[citation needed]. Many animals are sensitive to chloramine, and it must be removed from water given to many animals in zoos.[citation needed] Other methods Chloramine, like chlorine, can be removed by boiling and aging. However, time required to remove chloramine is much longer than that of chlorine. The time required to remove half of the chloramine (half-life) from 10 US gallons (38 L; 8.3 imp gal) of water by boiling is 26.6 minutes, whereas the half-life of free chlorine in boiling 10 gallons of water is only 1.8 minutes. Aging may take weeks to remove chloramines, whereas chlorine disappears in a few days. Halides are chemical substances such as Flouride, Chlorine and Bromide. Halides can often be found in toothpaste, dental products and tap water. The Pineal gland is especially sensitive to fluoride in the water. Fluoride, and other chemical substances like chlorine, are bad for the pineal as they deposit on tissues rich in calcium, such as the pineal. Flouride is the most common and widespread in our diets. It is magnetically attracted to the pineal gland more so than any other part of the body. Here it forms calcium phosphate crystals which accumulate. In particular, the fluoride present in our drinking water has been proven to calcify (or harden) this vital area of the brain — thus reducing its function.

Das war die letzte Woche der GorillaAuto. An sich sehr vollgepackt mit Blüten. Leider etwas viele kleine Blätter die zwischen den Blüten gewachsen sind. Die musste man regelmäßig entfernen damit es nach Regentagen das Wasser besser wegtrocknet und man dem Schimmel etwas vorbeugt. Es waren echt viele von diesen kleinen Blättern... Hier und da waren ein paar Stellen die vom Schimmel betroffen waren. Ich denke das lässt sich outdoor nicht komplett vermeiden. Besonders nicht bei dem verregneten Sommer den wir hier dieses Jahr haben. Für die letzten Tage wurde die GorillaAuto an Regentagen reingeholt damit die buds nicht unnötig nass werden auf die letzten Tage und vielleichtnoch hier und da schimmel entsteht. Für die Zeit drinnen hat ein 5Watt Ventilator für Umluft gesorgt und eine 20W Anzuchtlampe die für etwas Tageslicht sorgt. Das Substrat wurde nur noch so minimal feucht gehalten das das Substrat nicht austrocknet.

Now flowering in week 5. She's doing really well. Almost forgot she lost a main branch. She's almost filled the 60c60 tent. I hope she's done stretching because she's almost out of room. Really looking forward to tasting her.

Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 7/18- Well, we're now going into the 10th week of veg for this FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod. She's becoming quite the tall lady with wide node spacing and a classic 'Christmas tree' shape. Her overall health and vigor have remained excellent and she's tolerating our oppressive heat with out complaint! 7/20- The daily watering of 5g continues, as does the hot weather. 7/22- Yesterday, I top dressed the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod with 2 1/2 cups of Gaia Green 2-8-4 along with 1 cup of Down To Earth Bio-Fish 7-7-2 and 1/2g of Wiggle Worm castings. After top dressing and working the amendments in by hand I replaced the straw coating over the soil and watered them in with 5g of straight well water via garden hose as usual. Today I resumed my regular watering routine, watering late in the afternoon with 5g of well water from the garden hose. 7/24- There goes ten weeks of veg for the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photo and she shows no signs of slowing her vertical growth at this time. I am hoping that with our daylight hours slowly diminishing, the Papaya Sherbet will begin to transition into flower in the next few weeks so that it won't be late October before she's ready to harvest... we will see! I'm back! Almost gave up on these ladies but the genetics from Speedrun Seeds pulled through. They just patiently waited until I got the root issues figured out then proceeded to blow up. Floraflex Rootdrip saved roots without a doubt. I'll never run DWC without it again. Today was day 110. No idea what to expect for a dry weight just glad to be at my first harvest!

Gelonade by MSNL Seeds, powered by XpertNutrients, Spider-Farmer+Mars-Hydro. Plant done super good in her last wk of flowering. Ripening was really smooth. Since it begun mid last week after fattening had finished. I continued to use my IR730nm even with the same hours it allowed me to keep an Intense ppf while doing other plants and just lowering time under light. Buds are lovely and big. Really happy with how everything turned out. And just really glad to do this strain. Defo an add to my do again list. Have found an whys 7 strains I will add to my list of grows, or similar traits. Lemon, orange and gasey and this has touches of grapefruit and citrus is strong with gasey notes. Thanks to my sponsors and to all whom stopped by. I truly appreciate yall. The temperatures, humidity, height, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil to be spread evenly on top of the soil. Day 1 we had a high temperature of 88°F. We had on and off rain and thunderstorms throughout the day. The rain took care of the watering. The #1 and #2 plant responded well to defoliation and treatment. The #3 plant will have some more leaves stripped and everyone will get treated with Growers Ally again tomorrow. Day 2 we had a high temperature of 94°F with clear sunny skies. I watered about 5 gallons from the well. I treated these again with Growers Ally fungicide. The warmer nights, blazing sun, and this fungicide have really cleared up that powdery mildew. They've also decided to go all in on flowering. Day 3 we had a high temperature of 94° with sunny skies. Heat index was over a hundred. It was super hot today. I watered twice about 8 gallons total. Everything looked good after treatment. Day 4 we had a high temperature of 95 and partly cloudy skies. I watered twice about 4-5 gallons each time with well water. Day 5 we had a high temperature of 91°F with partly cloudy skies. I watered twice today 4-5 gallons each pot, each time. The #3 plant is still having some pm on a few of the lower leaves. The other two look great after treatment. Day 6 we had a high temperature of 88°F with sunny skies. I watered 5-6 gallons each pot. Day 7 we had a high temperature of 93°F with sunny clear skies. I watered 4-5 gallons each pot twice, from the well. This week was a success. The girls survived the powdery mildew outbreak. The Growers Ally worked great. They're continuing to grow tall. I can get my tape up there, but they're so tall I can't reach it with my step ladder to take the pictures. The super hot weather this last week just turned them on. They are loving it.

ScrOG aus rankengitter und weich ummantelten Draht gebunden, konnte Fingerhash machen nach dem einflechten hätte echt Handschuhe anziehen sollen. Bin sehr von den Damen überzeugt. 12 Tage 24h Licht Zyklus und 2 Tage Umstellung seit Woche 11. extrem später Start mit offizieller Blüte dennoch ist die Vorarbeit von den Damen der hammer. Sie haben die Samenbildung sofort eingestellt und diese wieder abgebaut. Hätte damit gerechnet, dass der Blütenstand und die harz/Terpen Produktion nahezu eingestellt werden. Die bananas haben schon Daumen-dicke buds und riechen super süßlich, die Zake besetzen weiterhin fleißig die sonnensegel, riechen etwas zwischen Basilikum-Beeren mit etwas Diesel. Die painkiller (9/9 thc/Cbd) von royal Queen ist als Balkonprojekt Anfang März gestart und bitterlich verkümmert, habe sie seit einigen Wochen mit im Schrank unter gebracht nimmt jetzt einen platzt ein. Hatte sie auch gefimmt, hat sie nicht doll gestört musste sie mehrfach brechen/Knicken damit sie unter den Scrog passt. Rundherum läuft es wieder, nur die bananas haben leichte Mängel, morgen kriegen die beiden eine extra Dosis. 🐝

The fifth week of the 12/12 cycle and the Pineapples aren't going great. The plant on the right side is barely showing signs of deficiency, the one next to it the most signs. The other 2 have also signs of deficiency, but less. I think the ph levels of 6.1 were a bit too low so I'm going to keep those between 6.3 – 6.5 in further grows. But there's gonna be weed because the buds are taking form and smell is kicking in good. This is what they've got this week Day 1 → Each 1250 ml (0.33 gallon) ph adjusted tapwater (ec 0.48– ph 6.3) Day 2 → Dry Day 3 → Each 1250 ml (0.33 gallon) tapwater with Plagron nutrients (see above for which and how much) Day 4 → Dry Day 5 → Each 1250 ml (0.33 gallon) ph adjusted tapwater (ec 0.48– ph 6.3) Day 6 → Dry Day 7 → Same as day 3 The cobs are now at 45 cm with 268 watt → DLI 38.2/PPFD 884 Temperatures stayed between 21.1 – 28.4 °C ( 69.9 – 83.1 °F) and humidity levels between 47 – 70 % Till next week!
