Earlier this week our very own sidelibe reporter Lyetah Nutherwon was able to catch up with the clone 1Leaf aka The 1, and discuss the plants recent success. We will now take you there live, to the transcript of that interview L..N.:"So 1 Leaf, what has been the key to your recent success?" 1: "I think the biggest keys have been taking advantage of light and nutrients while also making sure i stay well hydrated." L.N.: "How has all the success changed your life and is it hard not to let it go to your head?" 1: "Nah it doesnt go to my head cuz Im pretty much topped all the way around. I believe its important to stay in touch with your roots and remember where you came from. What makes you who you are. I had a rough dome life growing up and like to stay in touch with that part of me and use it as motivation. L.N. "motivation for what? What would you like to change?" 1: "I don't want young clones growing up feeling the way I felt. Indica, Sativa, Hybrid....we're all the same genus. Indoor plants...outdoor plants....we all need to come together. We dont have to agree about everything just respect one another regardless of what color our leaves are, the spectrum we prefer, whether or not we are foliated or defoliated, nutrient burned or nutrient deficient." L.N. "That sounds down right reasonable 1 Leaf. You should probably be ruler of the universe. What about all the strainists and haters? If plants want something to blindly hate then why not just hate seedling molesters? Just cuz an indica or a sativa wronged you doesnt mean they all will. There's good and bad phenotypes of all strains....but there aren't any good seedling molesters. So let's all just hate them instead. L.N.: "That might be the most logical thing I've ever heard. That's fantastic. So how do u want to finish your career?" 1: "My ultimate goal is to get into flower and become a legendary bud and resin producer. That's my dream. Then once I'm done with the flower game, I want to be rolled up into a big ol' hooter, light me up and pass my ass around the world so everybody can get lit together and stop being dicks to each other. Then I want somebody to make Beans a big ass sandwich."👍 End Wow....powerful stuff right there. I'd like to put that in my pipe and smoke it. Day 14 - Clay balls arrived, all looks good.... 😎 **the rust and damage on the first leaves is nothing to worry about, the ice cream container water level dropped below the root level, fixed it, but was cool to learn how fast hyrdo dmg can occur.... 👍 Day 17 - Lookin good... vid.... 👍😎👊

Had alot of fun this season!Only 5g got moldy, but it took heavy rain and bad weather for 5-6 days in row. Bud smells super fruity and exotic

******* Week 7 Flower - October 31 to Nov 6, 2020, Days 43 to 49 ********* This was flush week.......hurry the hell up and flush week!!!!!😃 This strain is an 8 week strain!! She was close to ready at the end of the week, Day 49. Start your flush week 6......I waited for week 7 thinking she would go 9 weeks. Gave them two doses fo Flawless Finish and 10 gallons of water each. Cant do much more than that🤞👍 She is a sticky girl........move any leaves around and you find out just how much😃 These are some nice Freakin looking buds!!!!!! Beautiful colours and so frosty all the way down the fan leaves........so pissed off at myself because I missed her flush timming.....there are some beautiful purples and yellows in this strain that I missed!☹️ Little more detail....... Nov 1/20, Day 44 - Heavy flush day today. - 32L of tap water with 180oom and 5.7pH going into the girls. - runoff numbers for the girls were both pretty close to the same at 185ppm and 6.3pH. - last 3.5L of flush contained Flawless Finish @ 2ml/L. - Decided I do need to use a flushing agent with these girls......they are so close to done now!!!!! Nov 3/20, Day 46 - Another flushing agent watering today. - each girl given roughly 5L mixture of half tap water and half RO water with Flawless Finish at 4ml/L - More than I would normally do but feeling a little desperate at this point!!! - I am almost feeling like C472 is close to pulling now........damn.....I need a couple of more days yet so just going to let more go amber and hopefully she will continue to take the water and flush herself. Nov 6/20, Day 49 - 1L of plain water for each girl. 25ppm and 6.2pH. - we are at the finish line.....just keeping the pot moist right now. - they are ready for darkness anytime now........they are......I am not😂 Looking good Apolo.......Trichomes are lots and smells are plentiful👍 They finishing too damn fast though😀😀 Good problems I guess, wish I cut some clones to run her one more time and stop feed at week 5 flower😞

The 2 cuttings of my Tiny pot bubba cheesecake on there second topping. these girls look good and im super cropping for strong stems to hold all the main tops.

Just feed her ph water for the last couples of days I’ll be chopping her down this week due to heat wave in my area .. wish I could let her go few more days At this stage she’s releasing nitrogen still

Happy with the last few weeks not much eventful happened and forgot to take photos… but yeah apart from mixed the res nutes for the wrong amount of water due to just changing a different size res just before this one, causing plant to droop the next morning but corrected with a complete res change and bounced back in two days as i clocked what I had done quite early on :) slogan of the week ‘if in doubt swap It out’ 😂

NOTES: Keeping the pH between 5,8-6,0 and EC at around 1,4-1,6 depending on system. EC at 1,5 seems to be optimal and my measurements are staying pretty steady at that level. Humidity is lowered to around 50% if I can. The tops are now at around 45-60cm height from the soil. Continuing the last heavier defoliation/pruning process that I started yesterday at the end of 2nd flowering week. I saw no signs of mold or any other issues as I went through the plants. After this week I'm going to change the nutrient solutions on the tanks and fill them with fresh nutrients with minor changes: Dropping the amount of Grow from 1,5ml to 0,5ml and increasing the amount of Bloom from 1,5ml to 2,5ml. After the change I'm only going to refill the tanks without adding any Grow and will instead increase the amount of Bloom to 3ml. Propably a one more change of fresh nutrients until flushing with Final Solution prior harvesting. Day64 (19.12.) Some more defoliation focusing on the upper growth revealing bud sites below them and keeping off the moisture. Already got a trash bag almost full of leaves since they've been pretty bushy plants on average. Day65 (20.12.) Continuing the last defoliation process. Day66 (21.12.) Continuing the last defoliation process, pretty satisfied with the results so far. Light penetration and airflow have increased greatly so I don't have to worry that much about humidity or possible mold any longer. Each strain has started flowering, all plants are females and buds have started to develop. Defoliating didn't seem to stress the plants as much as I thought it would. Day67 (22.12.) Day68 (23.12.) Refilled and added some nutrients with a stronger Bloom/Grow -ratio (~4:1) and left my girls to enjoy the Christmas Holidays as I did. I'll be gone for around three days, after that I'll change to new fresh nutrients as I mentioned before. One Ayahuasca Purple seems to be ahead of others, and a few other ones have clearly started to develop some buds too, rest of the plants are following closely behind. Each strain has some truly astonishing individuals, and I think Ayahuasca's have shown most variety between different plants. Overall everything looks pretty good I think. Hopefully can say the same after a couple of days as I come back. Happy holidays everyone! Day69 (24.12.) Day70 (25.12.) I added another Led light to my tent just before the lights turned off. Everything looks amazing!
