Day 15 Today I switched the lights from the Seedling program to the Growth program. I measured around 640 PPFD at the canopy level so a bit high for early veg but I will leave it where it is now and keep an eye out for light stress, and raise the lights if I have to. I also added a second USB fan for increased circulation. USB fans are great when the plants are small and you don't want the stronger winds that the regular clip fan generates. I also started the clip fan but directed it towards the lights to help keep them a bit cooler. I adjusted the extractor fan from 60 secs Off/30 secs On to 30 secs Off/30 secs On in order to remove more hot air. This will have to be tweaked further and I'll monitor my temps to figure out a suitable setting. It becomes a balance between temp and humidity. I really wish I had a system where I could set a target VPD and then the system would automatically adjust temps and humidity to follow that target. Not practical in my small setup though but maybe one day... Temps are always an issue in my setup as I have two powerful lights inside one small tent without AC. I have set the light cycle so that the lights are on during the night but off during the day to help to balance the temp a bit. I'm also considering getting some extension cables and put the LED drivers outside the tent to see if that helps to bring down the temps a bit further. Later in the grow I will use CO2 so that will help a bit against higher temps. Finally, I watered the plants as they were getting a bit dry. The left plant got 1 liter and the right plant 1.5 liters as the sensor reported that that pot was a bit drier. I reckon it has to do with the plant being larger (almost double the size of the other plant!) I should also really get my ass in gear and hook up the Blumat system so I don't need to worry about hand watering. Day 16 Nothing to report really except some additional growth, both vertical and horizontal. Day 17 Watering time again. Gave them 6.2 pH water this time and once again more to the right plant as it drinks more. I guess around 1.3 liters for the left plant and 2 liters for the right one. I tried putting in my small USB humidifier into the tent but I soon realized that it can't share the USB power that the fans are running on so will have to get another USB power cable in there. Didn't expect that small humidifier to use that much power. Oh well, that's a job for another day. Day 18 The girls are thirsty it seems as I had to water again today according to the Blumat sensors (I really, really need to install my Blumat system as soon as possible but should get the last bits that I need in a day or two). I gave them 2.5 liters of water (pH 6.7) and once again a bit more to the right plant. I also was able to squeeze in my tiny humidifier into the tent even though the tomatoes are still in there. Turns out that all I had to do was to switch the USB power adapter from the old Samsung one that I used to a more powerful iPad charger. Now it works just fine to run the fan and the humidifier on the same power. The reason why I'm using a small USB humidifier instead of a proper one is simply due to the lack of space in my small tent. This (very basic) humidifier is the smallest one I could find yet have a decent size tank so I don't need to fill it up all the time. Day 19 The cover crop EXPLODED since yesterday so the first thing I had to do today was to cut that back a bit. I also started brewing some compost tea (AACT). I mixed together worm castings, rock dust, biochar, lime, bentonite, neem meal, kelp meal, and molasses and will leave it brewing for 24 hours and then feed it to the plants tomorrow. Would have liked to add alfalfa meal as well but haven't been able to find any. I usually put my seed starter warming mat under and taped to the brewing bucket to increase the tea temperature and microbial activity. The plants are doing their thing, a little bit taller and a little bit wider. I will probably top the right plant next week but not sure about the left one as it is smaller so might need another week. Day 20 The compost tea was ready today after 24 hours of brewing. I fed each girl with around 3 liters of tea (pH 6.8) and as I wasn't planning any foliar feeding this time around I kept the tea unfiltered. So that everything that went into making the tea ended up as a top dressing. I guess I don't have to water for a couple of days after this. Not much change is plant size but the leaves are filling out. Day 21 Today was completely uneventful so not much to report except that I probably will top the right plant tomorrow as it is up to 5 nodes.

🌿 LSD — Week 8 From Seed (Week 4 Flower – Photoperiod) The room is full. Not chaotic-full. Intentional-full. And that’s a big difference. ⸻ 🌡️ ENVIRONMENT ANALYSIS 📊 Current Metrics • Canopy temp: 27.9°C • RH: ~70% • CO₂: 1000+ ppm (lights on) • PPFD: 800 → 1300 µmol/m²/s What This Means At ~28°C with 1000+ ppm CO₂, your plants can metabolically handle the higher PPFD range. This is a high-energy room right now. Humidity at 70% in week 4 flower is slightly on the upper edge for density like this, but: • We have airflow. • We have under-canopy lighting. • We have structured spacing. So this isn’t panic territory. It’s “monitor closely” territory. ⸻ 🌱 SUBSTRATE & FEEDING • Soil EC: 0.91 • Watering EC: 2.4 • pH: 6.5 • Medium temp: ~22.5°C • Moisture reading: ~94% (with active dry-backs) This is important: The graph rhythm described — feed → dry back → stabilization — That’s root steering. Your soil isn’t waterlogged. Your EC isn’t stacking. They’re drinking aggressively. And in week 4 flower, that’s exactly what you want. This is peak nitrogen-to-potassium transition phase. ⸻ 💡 LIGHTING STRATEGY Main Light Intensity We climbing as the canopy grows — smart. UVA/UVB — 6 Hours Mid-Cycle This is controlled stress application. At this stage (early-to-mid flower): • Trichome precursors are developing. • Secondary metabolite pathways are active. • Defense response can be nudged. Important: UV doesn’t create resin. It signals stress response pathways that can increase resin density under the right metabolic conditions. So far: No tacoing. No bleaching. No premature fade. That means dosage is within tolerance. ⸻ 🔴 15-Minute End-of-Day Red This is circadian tightening. Phytochrome manipulation: Pfr → Pr conversion accelerates. The plant “understands” night faster. Will yield explode? No. Will rhythm sharpen? Possibly. Subtle tools are what refine grows. ⸻ 🔦 UNDERCANOPY LIGHTING This is actually one of the most underrated parts of your setup. In a dense canopy like this: Benefits: • Lower bud sites don’t starve. • Hormonal dominance softens. • Larf reduction. • Internal airflow improves. Our structure supports it — because you didn’t over-strip last week. ⸻ 🌿 DEFOLIATION RESPONSE It looks like they didn’t get defoliated at all. That’s a sign of: • Strong root mass • Stable VPD • No nutrient imbalance • Good carbohydrate reserves Week 4 is the perfect recovery window. If they had stalled? You’d see smaller bud initiation. We’re not. ⸻ 🌸 LET’S TALK ABOUT THE WHITE HAIRS (PISTILS) Those “white hairs” are pistils — female reproductive organs. They are: • Stigma structures • Designed to catch pollen • Directly connected to ovule tissue inside the calyx Why are they exploding now? Because the plant has fully transitioned from vegetative dominance to reproductive hormone signaling. Auxin redistribution shifts. Gibberellins reduce. Flowering genes are active. We’re now in: Active bud site multiplication phase. The number of pistils at week 4 indicates: • Good hormonal balance • No stress-induced reversion • Strong floral initiation ⸻ 🌿 STRUCTURE – HYBRID BUT SATIVA EXPRESSION We’re noticing: • Vertical middle branching • Internodal stretch • Upward lateral arms Even though LSD is a hybrid, phenotype expression can lean sativa structurally. This gives us: • Longer cola potential • Slightly airier stacking (good for airflow) • Potentially later bulking Now the question: Will this become a dominant main cola? Based on structure: Yes — but not a single spear. More likely: A structured central column with strong secondary tops. We didn’t top aggressively. So apical dominance remains. But the mid-sides are competitive. This is a balanced dominance structure — not a Christmas tree, not a bush. ⸻ 📈 WHAT TO EXPECT NEXT WEEK (Week 5 Flower) You should see: Calyx swelling begins Pistils start thickening, not just multiplying Slight trichome production visible on sugar leaves Stretch slowing down Nutrient demand increases What you should NOT expect yet: ✘ Major bud density ✘ Heavy trichome frosting ✘ Fan leaf fade ✘ Pistil darkening in bulk We’re still in building phase. ⸻ 🧠 ONE IMPORTANT THING Humidity at 70% in week 5 will become more critical. Noch paar Woche…

Aufgrund ihrer Größe sind sie sehr nah an der lampe dran und haben dementsprechend auch verbrennungen.Ich habe sie nun etwas höher gehangen.P3 hat schon weiße Härchen gezeigt und ich weiß nicht ob sie nun schon beginnt mit Blühen. Ich habe sie heute mal in die sonne gestellt,doch das haben P1 und P4 nicht so gut vertragen.Von P3 ist bereits der Steckling angewurzelt,somit kann ich die Mutterpflanze in den nächsten Tagen in die Blüte schicken.

8/14 Everything looked beautiful this morning. Seems like I've got the watering schedule down better. I do have one gmo that looks hungry so I need to increase nutes. At least on that plant. Toasted toffy has little spits that could be water marks, pests or septoria. I don't think it's septoria. In the pastvi lost far more leaves when I had septoria. I've been crazy busy. I'm surprised things are going this well. I need to put up the final supports so I can add to them once I've got big heavy buds. I was really stoked to see everything doing so well. The plant in the 50gallon is the furthest in flower. I'm so grateful to have the ability to grow high quality cannabis for myself amd my wife. There's nothing quite like it. That hash I made turned out great. I think I'll press it today. Supports will be done this week. Saw a few aphids on the plant I cut down. Earwigs aren't here this summer or there would be NO aphids. Plus when I cleaned out the insides this morning I found some dead leaves WAY in the middle by the stalk. They would've eaten that shit if they were here. Birds and other predators seem to be keeping pillars at bay. I'm not seeing the damage and when I do sfind one it's absolutely tiny like a newborn. I'll think about whether I need to spray BT. 8/15 That fucking cancel button always fucks everything out. I was done no I need to start over. Didn't water last night. Found pm on my gmo in the 30. Interior of the plant. Should've defoliated better and earlier. Oh well. I'll treat with k bicarb or plant doctor. I'll have to think about it. Other plants are looking good. Well they all are. I just hate pm. I can't isolate it due to local laws so it is what it is. Nothing I haven't dealt with before. Watered today. The middle gmo in the 30 got 1.5 gallons. The other plants each got a gallon. Including the one in the 10gal and 50 gal. Its supposed to rain but only like .1. I also chose to feed today. All plants got a gallon. I DID NOT WATER THE EVENT HORIZON IN THE MIDDLE AND THE SHERB PIE AS THEY WERE PRAYING AND HEAVY. I need to get these supports up. I'll update as I go. Oh and one thing I remembered is that, I didn't properly sanitize the trellis nets I installed on the plant that has pm (non visible today but still). I harvested the plant that used that bet last year was harvested in two stages. The bottom I let go way later and ended up with a little pm on the stuff I left for hash material and it got some pm. I wonder if that's whete this came from. 8/16 Death in the family this morning. I couldn't decide if I should use organocide plant doctor or not. It's a systemic It's been discontinued and reformulated. It's a systemic fungicide. Instead I mixed two tsp potassium bicarbonate with a little dawn in a half gallon mister. I used gloves and defoliated everything that had pm on it. I checked the plants next to it and luckily it hasn't spread yet....but it will. I feel safer using the k bicarb. I'll do more research and try to find the best way to tackle this. I don't want to get rid of the plant and due to local ordinance I can't isolate it. If I can keep it to this one plantvthat would be fine. I'd just use it for extracts. So glad I didn't use all that netting and put up tjosr supports. I'll need to disinfect them if I decide to use them. We'll see. Plants are coming right along flowering. WENT BACK OVER AND DEFOLIATED A BUNCH OF fan leaves and interior stuff to promote airflow. Still saw pm on that plant u had treated earlier with k bicarb. I can't isolate due to laws and I'm not willing to discard this massive monster cropped plant. So I'm going to treat it. I started by removing everything infected and improving airflow on that plant and all the others. I didn't make it to one event horizon. I plan to treat the infected plant with Organocide Plant Doctor since its what I have on hand and I've had good luck. It's a systemic. After I treat the one plant and see that it didn't hurt the plant I'll use a preventative dosage on the other plants. I've battled wpm several times. This is something I'm very familiar with. What sucks is it's totally my fault it happened due to grower error. This has set back me puttingvup my supports as well. Plants look good woth a haircut. Also the toasted toffy had some leaves removed with spots that looked like septoria. I think nutes havecreally kicked things in gear. Now there are little buds on plants. 8/17 BAGS still seemed heavy so I didn't water. It's been MUCH cooler. It's 63 at 9am. It would normally be 80 by now so maybe they aren't using as much water. I watered the the toasted toffy I missed last round but the Sherb Pie still had weight to it. I also watered the GMO on the far side and the one in the 30 as the seemed a little lighter. I looked in and I couldn't find a SPOT of powder mildew on the plant! I know it will come back but on this 100% rh day there isn't a spot I can find! I'm going to go check on them later today. Do some more defoliation and treat the plants with Plant Doctor to try to mitigate the spread of the P.M. Very suprised the k bicarb worked like that. WENT BACK OVER AROUND 11. I WATERED THE TWO THAT DIDNT GET WATERED LAST TIME. THE EVENT HORIZON AND THE SHERB PIE. IT WAS COLD AND OVERCAST. TEMPS HAVE BEEN MUCH COOLER. SOON AS I WATERED THE SUN CAME OHT AND THE TEMP WENT UP. I WENT THROUGH THE PLANTS I MISSED AND SEFOLIATED LEAVES AND INTERIOR BRANCHES TO INCREASE AIRFLOW. SURPRISED TO STILL SEE NO PM WITH 100% HUMIDITY. I WENT THROUGH EVERY PLANT. ILL NEED TO GO TJROUGH AGAIN BUT TJIS IS MUCH BETTER. THE TOASTED TOFFY THAT MAY HAVE SEPTORIA I WILL TREAT TONOGHT WITH PLANT DOCTOR. I REMOVED ANYTHING LOOKING INFECTED. I LSTed THE BIGGEST BRANCHES WITH CLIPS TO THE BAG AMD TWINE. SO AIRFLOW IS MUCH BETTER. I THEN REMOVED A BU CH OF THE MIDDLE. I COULD TAKE MORE BUT ON OUTDOOR HARVESTS THAT LITTLE STUFF GOES IN EXTRACTS. I PUT A FEW HOURS IN TODAY. I did more defoliation on a few different plants. Including the healthiest GMO. It seems like things should be further in flower but it is what it is. I'm not doing clones again. Only reason I did is because I lost my 72 seedlings and depleted my seed supply. I hate treating pm. Lost Coast Plant Therapy I'd really whete its at when it comes to treating pm. I might just order that. My commercial buddy told me that he wouldn't use the plant doctor and not to "spray shot all over my plants". He's probably right. I see something small and try to overcurrent. I dont see any more septoria looking leaves on the toasted toffy since I lsted it and removed damaged leaves. I was going to use the fungicide plant doctor on that and then use it ad a preventative. He's probably right. I've put a lot of work in defoliation and such. It WILL spread but it hasn't yet. I removed what I saw. I was going to hit it again with k bicarb but it said it should be weekly treatments.i hope I'm doing things right. I shouldn't be this worried about pm but I've got am anxiety disorder. I'll fully sterilize (AGAIN) my posts and trellis netting before I instal it. I'll probably go check on them later. It's hard to avoid pm with 100% humidity and 30° temp swings. I've got a few lights so maybe this winter I'll do indoor. I'll try to keep this updated. I'll treat it again with potassium bicarbonate soon. If that doesn't work I'll switch up treatments. I've got citric acid amd some other stuff too. I almost ordered lost coast last night but decided I'd wait to try it out. The toasted toffy has SOME spots that look like septoria. It's the second furthest in flower and very indica leaning. It seems to be flowering vigorously so I don't want to fuck with it too much. I could use plant doctor on it and see what happens but I'm going to monitor for a few days after defoliating. ILL REASSESS IN THE MORNING. PLANNED ON USING PLANT DOCTOR ON TOASTED TOFFY BUT DECIDED AGAINST IT PARTIALLY DUE TO THE RAIN. PARTIALLY BECAUSE I PUSSED OUT. I WANTED TO FEED. IVE NOTICED SOME FADE AND PLANTS PUSHING AND TRYING TO GET OVER THE FENXE INTO FLOWER. THE TOASTED TOFFY AND THE UNKNOWN IN THE 50 ATE THE FURTHEST ALONG AND DEVELOPING ROCK HARD BUDS. GMO HAS A MASSIVE STRETCH. THINGS CHANGE DAILY. I WANTED TO GET A GOOD DOSE OF NUTES IN SO AFTER THIS LITTLE BIT OF RAIN WHEN WE GET THAT NICE SUNSHINE MY PLANTS WILL TAKE OFF!! THEY'VE BEEN PROGRESSING FAST DESPITE THE SHITTY WEATHER. 8/20 It's still sprinkling. It SAYS WE got zero rain yesterday but that's just not true. Today is supposed to be light showers with like .02 in 9f rain. I mixed up some water to check the plants. I figured a few would he light. The event horizon on the back SEEMED a little light. So did the one invthe ten. I realized it was just comparing it to the bags that were saturated. Still I ended up giving the event horizon in the back a half gallon and split the other half with the one in the 10 that dries out super fast. It's crazy. The weather just abruptly changed one day and I go from watering twice a day to hardly at all! Everything but the sherb pie and the seedling in the 10gal are vigorously flowering. Upping the nutes was a smart move. The seemed to like it. I'm gonna check later and as soon as I can I'll hit that toasted toffy with plant doctor. That's tied for furthest along in flower. I've done a bunch of research and I think this is the right move. I'll keep this updated. After this small patch of shitty weather we are goingvto get some sun amd these girls will EXPLODE! I TREATED THE EVENT HORIZON THIS MORNING. IT GOT A FEW HOURS BEFORE A LITTPE RAIN WND THEN SUNNY AND 80. I USED BETWEEN A QUARTER AND HALF GALLON ON THE INE PLANT. I MAY NOT HAVE USED ENOUGH OF THE MIXED UP SOLUTION ONVTHE TOASTED TOFFY. IT HAD BEEN WORKING AWESOME AND NOW THAT ITS TIME TO REAPPLY I NOTICE A FEW LEAVES THAT LOOK INFECTED. OVER THE NEXT WEEK ILL BE MONITORING THE RESPONS FROM THE PLANT DOCTOR. I'M CONSIDERING APPLYING PLANT DOCTOR TO THE REST OF THE GARDEN. I THIBJ THE K BICARB HAS BEEN DOING GOOD KEEPING THE PM DOWN ON THE MIDDLE GMO. I HATE THAT I HAVE TO FIGHT DISEASES. IM NOT DOING CLONES AGAIN. AND IM GOING TO BE MUCH CLEANER. STILL IN EARLY FLOWER. IVE GOT A GOOD FEELING. IVE DEALT WITH MUCH WORSE AND CAME OUT GOOD.

So we are in week 2 of flower I ran out of Dutch pro and my hydro shop didn't have any in stock so I had to swap to canna 450ml A&B I've also added some bud blood. So today I did some defoliation to anything below my scrog net and tucked some of the bigger fan leaves to expose the new bud sites. I also raised my light a few inches to allow the ladies to grow into it. 21/5/21 The girls are growing fast I did some defoliation 2 days ago and I had to repeat today 26/5/21 Took some fan leaves off that where blocking bud sites only a small handful needed to be removed, I gave them a feed ppm 946 ph 6.3, bud sites are looking nice and healthy I've got plenty of air flow throughout my tent, have yet to notice any aroma but still very early days. Week 5 veg - clones and Week 3 - Blueberry Cupcake (Humboldt Seed Co.) and French Macaron (TH Seeds) from seed. G-41, Frosty Gelato, and Frozay Gas topped with 2 clones each taken from cuttings to propagate placed in 2x2 clone/seedling tent with low LED lighting. Temps in low 80F w/60% ROH. Clone cuttings covered with sandwich bags used as humidity domes. After taking cuttings transferred G-41, Frosty Gelato, and Frozay Gas to 3x3x6 AC Infinity tent under Mars-Hydro FC-E3000 set at 50 percent power (PPFD range for veg). Black Cherry Gas clone, Blueberry Cupcake, and French Macaron from seed remain in 2x4x5 AC Infinity under Spider Farmer SF-2000 with dimmer set at 50 percent power (PPFD range for veg). Continued twice weekly IPM foliar treatment with Organishield as well as watering soil program (SP).

I have also lowered the light a bit, increased the nutrients to 2ml per 1000ml and watered about 4/500ml. I have also changed the light schedule to 20 hours again. Also I don't know why I have done the LST the way I have, i saw something similar on YouTube and the stem was bending in that direction one day so I thought I would give it a go. It might not have been the smartest move on my first grow but who knows, we will see. I am thinking about getting Advanced Nutrients BigBud and was wondering if anyone thinks it is worth it or to stick with what I am using the whole way through before flush?

This lady is getting massive. Her buds are swelling to the max. I set her on a self watering base from ac infinity about 3 days ago and I can already tell its adding to the swell. Check back next week to see just how fast these buds grow & remember its 4:20 somewhere!
