Outside in 7 gal fabric pots, they’re stretching out and over 3 feet tall now. Tons of bud sites, probably another couple of weeks before the preflowers start to show sex. Gone out of town for a few days, so I rigged up a hose timer to flood the kiddie pool once a day and just let the plants soak it up from the bottom.

Last week of flowering just finished! This plant showed some great results, the buds gets nice and fat, and slightly above average thc production, but not extreme thc like covering all the leaves, i think this is going to be a nice daily smoke without knocking you out totally! The smell is great, just what i expected from a wedding cake! We will now harvest in some days and start to dry her 😁

Hey fellow growers week 8 update in the books! Not much happened this week besides having to raise my light to its max! The pistols were showing signs of orange pistols but it looks as though they are burning 🔥 so measured my light to plant and was sitting at 15 inches so I got it back to 18 inches but if these plants stretch any further I'm going to have to cut a hole in the top of my tent for the light!! So I finally had a week of ease. Thanks for viewing my grow and be sure to smash the like button and drop a comment I'm on here a lot prob more than I should be. Overall this plant was great to grow, she just grew and was happy doing it the entire time, pretty good yield off a plant that was only about 12inches tall. Seemed to be a lot more resistant to deficiencies then the other two strains this grow. Definitely a great mid-day Smoke!

Salut les Growmies, Quelle superbe aventure cette génétique de chez Exotic Seeds. Cette Zkittalicious depuis le debut m'étonne , de part sa grande vitalité .Malgré l attaque du caht , elle a reprise le dessus , elle a réagi merveilleusement bien a l entrainement que je lui ai fait subir ,LST ,Topping..... Et maintenant comme vous pouvez le voir elle développe de nombreux sites floraux et elle devient de jour en jour de plus en plus frosty. Donc en gros vous pouvez vous tourner vers Exotic Seed les yeux fermés et je lui donne une note de 9/10 pour sa vigueur, beauté, odeur pour la production on verra plus tard. Mais au vue des resultats mors de la phase croissance et debut de flo . Je m attend a de tres bons resultats 👍👍👍👍👍🤜🤛Merci Exotic Seeds.

I didn't really finish this diary. I took them back outdoors to finish for the last week. It finished kinda scraggly and the buds were fluffy. As soon as the bud was dry, I pressed it for the rosin...and forgot to do the diary. Decent for a freebie, but I won't be growing it again. Potency: 6/10 Yield: 4/10 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 5/10 Bag-appeal: 3/10

Ginger Nut Cookies 23rd Jan 2020 Seems like I got another mutated plant to play with 😬 The top leaf which was the second set to appear is mutated and similiar to one of the Sour diesel autos Im growing which is apparently a polyploid. As you can see in the above pics I removed the weird leaf and I now have two distinct tops rather than the usual one forming. They do say two heads are better than one 😀 Anyway I gave this little ginger nut a weak mix of Superthrive and Seaweed solution plus a tiny bit of Great white Mycorrhizae powder. This will be the first documented grow of anything Ive created thru my "Fuck around experiments" I call them that because I really dont have any plans or goals as far as breeding is concerned other than learning how it is all done. When Australia finally bites the bullet and goes legal I want to have the basic skills needed to create my own seeds for my own use. Basically a strain that is well acclimatised to my environment with maximum potency , flavour and terpene profile. But most importantly for me is a strain that is a IBL and Homozygous, so that I get very similiar results every time I grow it. Anyway Thats enough of my rambling lets get down to the Music part of this weeks update. I hope you liked the AC/DC I played last week , This week is INXS probably our greatest export music wise other than the Beegees I suppose. Sadly Michael hutchence the lead singer of INXS died in an apparent accidental misadventure but some say it was suicide . We'll never know for sure. 09/29/2020 Washing off all the nasty dust, pollen,and such that has accumulated over her long veg and flower period. She is 72.1 grams wet I guess she should dry out to around 18-22 grams. Which is fine as this was a tester to see if I will do again. I am keeping a clone till I grow a few dozen more seeds, to see different phenotype/genotype. It will take some time but I am hunting for a UNICORN before I will stop! 🙏 lol Good candidate for a grafting project Will update the rest of the report in a couple weeks to let dry out and cure some before testing. I chose this strain because it is said to not make me hungry and no red eyes but I will let you know soon.🙏 10/07/2020 She's dry and jarred up final weight 21.2 grams. Smell of hay and sugar should improve over next couple weeks. Preliminary smoke report, very smooth not much taste but feel it right away soon after first hit last 3.5 hrs. So just waiting on the cure for full flavor report.

Week 11 Day 71 (15/03/2021): No time to take pics today ✌️ Day 72 (16/03/2021): Looking good but more and more leaves are drying up or turning yellow. But at this point there is definitely no point in stressing the girls by removing them. Although the colours definitely look nice! Day 73 (17/03/2021)💧: Today will be the last watering for the girls so they have a few days to take up the last bits of moisture before harvest. I can’t believe how fast this grow went but I have definitely learned a lot from it. Day 74 (18/03/2021): They look so nice and colourful, definitely an interesting bunch of girls :D Can’t wait for the harvest and cure Day 75 (19/03/2021): No time to take pics today ✌️ Day 76 (20/03/2021): No time to take pics today but harvest day tomorrow!!!! Day 77 (21/03/2021): HARVEST DAY! What a great journey it has been growing these girls. They were so resilient and only started showing symptoms of deficiency in the last few weeks. They are absolutely covered in trichomes and smell very pungent. I think they will be super hard hitters! And it still amazes me how different they all are. Echo is even completely purple! Can’t wait to trim and dry these girls and will definitely make some bubble hash from all the trichomes on the leaves too 🤤 Will follow up with a review soon! (after they’ve cured for a bit)

This was a beautiful strain to grow! Easy and very resilient to everything. One of these strains you can plant and walk away and know that it’s doing it’s thing pretty much regardless of it’s environment. I got a very decent yield off of it as well at 5.8oz dried. I grew it along side 3 other Ayahuasca Purple plants in the same tent/reservoir system and the other 3 were a flop compared to this girl. I was starting a new job mid way through flowering so I was away for a week and not blaming anyone else’s mistakes but when I came back my ppm was through the roof @2000+ppm. The Alien Tech didn’t even break stride, not so lucky with the “nutrient sensitive” Ayahuasca Purple though. Lol This was my first time growing from this breeder(Prism Seeds) and I have to say I’m very impressed. This was a freebie seeds and I think I will try them out again for sure. Cheers 💨

Which means airflow and internal light penetration become critical early. And that’s exactly why this week mattered. ⸻ 🍃 The Defoliation — Not Aesthetic. Architectural. This was not cosmetic trimming. It was: • Removing large fan leaves blocking interior bud sites • Cleaning inner congestion • Opening airflow channels • Resetting light distribution across the canopy • Helping the entire room environment (not just this plant) The room needed air — this plant was advanced enough to handle stress. That’s key. Week 3 of flower is the transition window: • Stretch is slowing • Bud sites are set • Energy shifts toward stacking At this stage, a strategic defoliation: • Improves transpiration efficiency • Reduces microclimate humidity pockets • Prevents internal leaf-to-leaf condensation • Encourages bud site activation below the top canopy This was structural architecture. Not haircut vanity. ⸻ 🌡️ 28°C in Flower — “Too Hot?” Let’s Go Deep. People panic when they hear 28°C in flower. But here’s where most growers confuse: 🔥 HPS vs LED Heat Behavior Under HPS: • Radiant heat warms leaf surfaces directly • Leaf temperature often equals or exceeds room temp • 28°C air under HPS can mean 30–32°C leaf temp • That pushes VPD dangerously high Under LED: • Less infrared radiation • Leaf surface temp is typically 1–3°C LOWER than room temp • So at 28°C room temp, leaf temp might be 25–26°C And VPD calculations depend on leaf temperature, not air temperature. ⸻ 🌿 What Is Leaf VPD? VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) measures the difference between: • Moisture inside the leaf • Moisture in the surrounding air But if you calculate VPD using only room temp, you’re missing the real transpiration dynamics. With: • 28°C air • ~25–26°C leaf surface (LED) • 65% RH Leaf VPD sits in a very workable mid-flower zone. Not extreme. Not stress-inducing. Not shutdown territory. We’re driving metabolism, not cooking terpenes. ⸻ 💧 Why 65% RH Isn’t Dangerous Here Context matters: • Good airflow • Opened canopy • Compact but cleaned structure • Early-mid flower (Week 3, not Week 7) At this stage: • Pistils are forming • Bud density is still moderate • Transpiration is active High humidity becomes dangerous when: • Bud mass is dense • Internal airflow is poor • Late flower resin traps moisture We’re not there yet. And we just improved airflow with defoliation. ⸻ ⚡ EC 2.9 — Aggressive but Intentional That EC is strong.
