The NYC Diesel is growing well! A slight skunky smell is already developing around the plant, so I expect she is going to get quite pungent as she develops. Recovery after the FIM seems fine to my inexperienced eyes, and I will be starting LST with lawn staples/plant stakes later in the week. She has been growing low and bushy which is good for my space, and I expect her to explode with growth over the next few weeks. Now that she is growing quickly, I am going to slowly increase the megacrop and cal/mag accordingly. I don't want to overdo it, but I want the feeding well dialed in for when flowering begins.

2/10: I watered today with about 3/4 gallon each, plus cal-mag, signal, bembe, armor si, a little open sesame, and their final dose of endoboost. The shorter one is budding up quickly now. 2/11: Wife home sick today....postponing construction project to raise the lights. 2/12: Today, I tackled the project to raise my ceiling another foot. In addition to that project, I installed and hooked up my new AC Infinity 6" intake fan. It's pulling in fresh air from the soffit vent on the eave of the attic, and currently feeding the garden with 46f fresh air. I'm able to easily maintain daytime temps in the lower 70f's now. I am able to drive the nighttime temps as low as I want. The only issue is that the outdoor RH varies quite a bit, so I ordered a 30-pint dehumidifier to put in the top of the closet. I sprayed everybody with boomboom spray to try and mitigate the light burn damage that is likely to ensue. 2/13: The taller one is still stretching a little bit, but the 2-footer is just budding up. 2/14: I fed them today with about 3/4 gallon each including grow big, big bloom, tiger bloom, cal-mag, signal, bembe, humic acid, and I switched over from Open Sesame to Beastie Bloomz. Raised the lights another couple of inches. I did some training on them and defo'd a little bit. 2/15: Installed the new dehumidifier and rigged the continuous drain on it...works great. 2/16: I rotated the edge plants and removed some old leaves. I added another 22w 3000k 4' bar light under the canopy. 2/17: I rearranged the garden and defoliated a little bit. That's it for week 8-

Week 4 in the Pink Rozay journey has been a whirlwind of green magic, and I can't wait to spill the photosynthetic tea on all the juicy details. First off, the Pink Rozay has officially joined the Scrog Club! I introduced a Scrog net into the mix, and let me tell you, it's like giving our girl a VIP ticket to the greenest party in town. The benefits of a full canopy are immeasurable. It's not just about looks – although a sea of green is a sight to behold – but it's also about maximizing light penetration and promoting even growth. It's like orchestrating a symphony where every bud gets a front-row seat to the light show. And speaking of light shows, a new rockstar has entered the scene – the Future Of Grow 600W full spectrum LED. I've officially joined Team Future Of Grow, and let me tell you, this light is rocking the place like no other. It's like having a botanical disco in my grow room, and Pink Rozay is the star of the show, basking in the glory of that full spectrum goodness. Thank you F.O.G for bringing me on i fell truly humble and blessed <3 <3 <3 Now, let's talk foliar fun with Aptus Holland's NutriSpray. It's like giving Pink Rozay a spa day, but for her leaves. Here's a quick NutriSpray how-to: NutriSpray can be used regularly or to treat deficiencies in case of a nutrient lockout. Always dilute with water. Use 2 ml per 1 L of water and spray the entire leaf surface. Indoor growers, spray during weeks 1, 3, and 5 of bloom for general nutrition. Outdoor folks, spray 1 week after planting, then once a month until harvest. And what's in this magical elixir, you ask? Organic surfactant Horse chestnut extract Microelements: Manganese (Mn), Sulphur (S), Zinc (Zn), Iron (Fe) How does NutriSpray work its leafy wonders? Horse chestnut extract binds to microelements, making them available to the plant. It creates a protective shield, keeping nutrients on the leaves for up to two weeks. It thins vascular fluid, ensuring nutrients are transported faster. This is it for me : Corrects deficiencies faster than root feeding. I Spray mother plants a week before cutting clones for healthier cuttings. I Spray cuttings weekly for a protective shield and available nutrients. I Always spray with lights off to avoid burning, not always but for the most or at least i dim them down to 10%. Its good to leave the lights off for 20 – 30 minutes after spraying. So here we are, ready for the next week and cruising down this green road with confidence. The Pink Rozay is thriving, and the journey continues. As always, a massive thank you to Aptus Holland for being the backbone of my growing success. And to Future Of Grow for illuminating my grow room with that dazzling LED. The future is bright, indeed! I originally had applied to Green House Seed Co.'s Taste of the USA Contest here on Grow Diaries. Turns out I was ineligible but the good folks at GHS still had the big hearts to send me seeds anyway. So big ups to them for hooking this grower up. Welcome to the Sea of Fire 🔥 For this grow were using the Dark Phoenix seeds that GHS sent to me to create a Sea of Green. I've got 8 plants in 8 1L pots. I've decided to use Black Swallow's living soil for this grow so we won't need to add anything but water for the first 3 weeks or so. Our goal for this grow is to have these girls ready for harvest in about 20 weeks which will bring us to the beginning of November 2021. If all goes according to plan these firey buds should be filling my friends stockings this Christmas.

This week I upped the Coco Grow nutrients to half strength, I was worried that it might be too big of a jump up but she seems to have taken it in her stride and is showing some nice growth. The next time you see her she'll be topped and re-potted into a 5L air pot.

Lemon AK is getting really fat this week. Smell isnt as strong as the zkittlez but it definitely smells lemony. Looks a little airy as its foxtailing quite a bit i think. Just too hot damnit. Zkittlez is conspicuously missing this week....will see why next week :)

🎭 Monster Marker – Week 5 🌱 She fully recovered from the neem oil burns 🌿🔥 (caused by the timer accident ⏱️😅). Now she’s growing strong again, smelling absolutely delicious 🤤💜. The Solix clearly boosted the roots once more 🚀🌱, and in the next 1–2 weeks she’ll be ready to enter bloom 🌸✨. The temperature and humidity listed above are averages for the week. The above listed nutrients are dry and, with exception of ferrous sulfate, pre mixed at the listed rates of ml per gallon of soil. On day 3 I top dressed with ferrous sulfate monohydrate at the rate of 2.5ml/gallon of soil as listen in nutrients section. On day 3 the #3 plant seemed off. It never straightened up. 'd really like to save it even if it falls behind the others. I dug it up after pictures and placed it in a perlite filled clone chamber. Day 1 and 2 we had heavy dew. Afternoon on day two we had cooler temps and intermittent rain that continued into early morning Day 3. Day 3 was overcast with thunderstorms and rain that evening and night. The morning of day 4 we had a rain shower, but the sun came out mid day. 2-3am early morning day 5 we had very heavy thunderstorm. There was a lot of wind and rain. On day 6 the rain forecast was reduced to 5%. Despite this we had a thunderstorm with heavy rain and wind around 9.30 a.m. and a second round that evening. The soil in these pots has been soaking wet all week. Fortunately day 7 we had lots of sunshine and a light breeze that dried the soil out. This week presented a lot of challenges. I lost one plant to either my not mixing the nutrient thoroughly or the excessive moisture. If the dry fertilizers premixed into the soil are concentrated in an area of soil they can bring the roots. The excessive moisture can do the same. All that said the lost plant is still alive and we will see if it survived the intensive care unit. The two plants remaining are looking fantastic and have weathered these storms with vigor. Overall this week was a success.

I had never done such extreme defoliation, I feel nervous to see the result, I hope this technique helps to increase the growth of flowers and not make it slower.
