Well, this is week five and these lovely ladies are taking off. The only problems I have had (knock on wood) was the autopots valve sticking and flooding occasionally. Auto banana kush has been growing well under the Medic Grow Mini Sun-2. She got a solution change a few days ago. I been keeping up on the lst, and selective defoliation. I clipped the tips of her roots to promote a more dense root growth. She looks like she will go to flowering very soon. week 7 begins and the buds look about the same but, they’re reallllyyy starting to fatten up, the left one looks a little bit more mature than the right but we’ll cross that bridge when we get there

In general I'm very happy growing this strain. The germination rate was 100%, all 3 sprouted, even though one ended up dying after some weeks. My fault here, she grew upside down and when I moved her she didn't reacted well. The growing conditions were initially a little unstable as I couldn't find the right balance between temperature and RH, having the latter one constantly too low, making me buy an humidifier to keep the level higher. Well, too high in the lights off period, and when distracted could reach up to 99% RH, which isn't good. Again, lesson learned for the next grow. Maybe I've defoliated the plant a little too much and that might have also affected the crop a little. When it comes to feeding, didn't use so much plain water, the feeding were nutrient based all the time. Not sure if this had any negative effects in the plant. Was fun to train the plant and I learnt a lot about topping. To be fair, I don't know if this was what affected her final crop or if I stunned her in the last defoliation. Quite inclined for that option.. After all this, finish with this amount of bud is ok and positive lessons were taken for the coming grows. Overall I think I made a few beginner mistakes that affected the plant growth and flower, but again, having no pests, plagues, or any diseases was already a very good accomplishment and I'm really looking forward to start the next grow, and enjoy the smoke from this little one after drying and curing. As it was the first diary ever, was very fun to do it, and helped a lot controlling crucial parts of the growth. Definitely will keep posting here my future grows. I will leave it for 24 hours The seed coat softens by soaking your seeds in a hydrogen peroxide solution, allowing the seeds to absorb more oxygen. This results in increased germination speed Hopefully all 3 seeds will germinate by tomorrow? Seeds popped today:-)transferred 3 Purple Kush seeds in to small pots 10/09/23 3 Purple Kush seeds, 1 seed in each small pot. Each Pot is Half filled with lite mix compost and Half filled with Vermiculite , watered planting medium before sowing seeds 2cm deep in planting medium. The seed will push through the vermiculite easley with very little effort, in effect increasing higher successful germination rate, the compost will offer the first tap root an immediate lite nutrient supply. Placed 3 pots on top of a Propagation heating mat for correct germination temperature, position in a shaded place, and keep out of direct sunlight. This may seem like a lot of effort? and it is, but it will be highly beneficial by increasing a higher germination rate and higher amount of seeds will germinate from using this method :-) especially if your seeds were expensive. 11/09/23 no sprouts above the vermiculite yet, i will check it again tomorrow. Today 2 Purple Kush Germinate and rise above the vermiculite 3 days after sowing. Purple Kush is going ok, it could be growing faster, unfortunately i can't upload new photos because there is a problem in the GD system, they are doing there best to fix this problem as soon as possible. GMO Cookies where started 16/09/23 filtered water in glass, also add 3/5 drops of hydrogen peroxide, stir water well before adding the seeds, and stir again after adding seeds to water. 3 seeds sprouted, but only 2 survived, it become to hot and one GMO Cookie sprout died. I have now started another strain (Party Monster) 19/09/23 filtered water in glass, also add 3/5 drops of hydrogen peroxide, stir water well before adding the seeds, and stir again after adding seeds to water. I will leave it for 24 hours, 5 seeds of Party Monster have sprouted and are under the same 100W LED grow light. GMO Cookies have all come up above the vermiculite and are now positioned under a 100W LED, there is a small clip on fan blowing and circulating the air. This is my second attempt to grow GMO Cookies from 3 feminised seeds, i messed up on the first 3 seeds, i put them under a 250 Watt LED and it fried them, my folt. Growing from germinating seeds is a very delicate situation, your environment temperature needs good control. 2 Party Monster seedlings are looking good, coming along well under the 100W LED light. 3 GMO Cookies are looking good also under the 100W LED light. The seed coat softens by soaking your seeds in a hydrogen peroxide solution, allowing the seeds to absorb more oxygen. This results in increased germination speed! 1 Super Lemon Haze fem seed planted in a 2 ltr pot 28/10, this is the only plant i will keep for flowering. The Pot is Half filled with lite mix compost, and the rest of the pot is half filled to the top with Vermiculite , watered planting medium thoroughly soaking it before sowing seeds 2cm deep in vermiculite. The seed will push through the vermiculite easley with very little effort, in effect encouraging a higher successful germination rate, the compost will offer the first tap root an immediate lite nutrient supply. And i planted the 11 remaining popped SLH seeds in the brown round pot, this is just to see how many will rise above the vermiculite from the 13 SLH fems seeds soaked on 27/10. I will give these away to a friend. Both pots have been placed on a propagating heating mat for consistent and ideal germination temperature until all seeds have risen above the vermiculite. Once my 1 fem seed has germinated! i will cover the pot with a transparen plastic bag and place the pot 20cm below a 100W LED light. Super Lemon Haze feminised seeds Seeds sourced from Satdica Bulk Seeds Soaked seeds 27/10 planted up on 28/10, 12 out of 13 seeds have transformed in to 12 healthy little seedlings. 11 seedlings will be given away to a friend, and i will keep the one seedling you see already planted up in a black 2 ltr size pot. Now positioned under my 100W LED light, distance 15cm above seedlings. Light cycle 24 hours. Keeping them covered with propagating hood for a few days longer to allow seedlings to become better established before removing the hood. The vents on hood are fully open to allow seedling to slowly become accustomed to the outside vege room space. This resulted in increased germination speed! and today i can see little white taproot tails protruding out from the seed husk 👌 3 Gelato Cookies seeds, 1 seed in each small pot. Each Pot is Half filled with lite mix compost and Half filled with Vermiculite , watered planting medium before sowing seeds 2cm deep in planting medium. Spoon your seeds into it's planting medium, do not touch with fingers, spoon it in with half spoon of water and a seed, place the seed in the center 2cm deep in the planting medium, water it in again very lightly to help the seed settle into a comfortable position before leaving it to rest covered on your heating mat. The seed will push through the vermiculite easley with very little effort, in effect increasing higher successful germination rate, the compost will offer the first tap root an immediate lite nutrient supply. Watered and fed them in with Plagron Terra Grow 5ml to a ltr of water, i may have added too much, perhaps 2/3ml to a ltr of water would have been enough? placed 3 pots on top of a Propagation heating mat for correct germination temperature, position in a shaded place, and keep out of direct sunlight. I am keeping them covered with transparent plastic bags for a few days to protect them in case it's to hot in the 24/7 grow room which is 24 degrees, this is probably an ok temp for them? but i'd rather not run the risk. The plants look and feel incredible, I can't wait to do some serious supercropping later into this week. Follow along! This should be fun. Day 3 flower update: holy cow I love these plants, I am having a ton of growth and turned the optic 8s up to 100/50/25 and going to leave it here until 9/1 then switch to 100/60/50 and see how they react. Clones got cleaned out today to a buddy so we can further a couple other strains, the Chempie cuts were exquisite. Side note a little bit of nutrient burn noticed on main girl ZKWC but not anything to stress about, washing machine mother does not seem to mind a higher EC feed. The last few weeks have been a 30 second watering once a day. As of today 8/23 I am switching to 5/5/2.5/2.5 ml/g for BasisA/BasisB/StartR/Calimagic. I am obviously not an expert grower, just a guy trying to grow some beautiful big fat flowers. Take my advice with a grain of salt but feel free to lurk and watch the results! So day 4 of flower I was contemplating what my goal for this grow is, and I settled on schwazzing this grow, I did it with my first photo grow in Hydro and had awesome success on all but two plants (weaker blue dream phenos did not respond well and I had all kinds of feeding issues not entirely sure they would've made it without the schwaz either but anyways...) So yeah we're gonna try it out. Plants are bouncing back quickly from everything, I supercropping a ton to really spread the plant out and I'll be throwing a trellis back up after they have a chance to reach.

Day 84-91 (Day 3F-10F) (Day 6F) I’m giving a final foliar spray of Velokelp tonight before I start to see buds develop. Forgot to water today as I didn’t have any RO and bbb#1 was slumped and droopy. I decided to just water everything with tap water. I’ve been doing quite a bit of research on using city tap water with organics and it shouldn’t disturb the microbiology very much at all. And it will actually help smokability and ash color because of the extra CaCO3 in it. The higher 7.8 pH will also lockout heavy metals like aluminum as well. (Day 7F) Plants look just fine and the pH fluctuation didn’t make any difference at all. I’m going to discontinue the use of RO water for the rest of my run and all subsequent runs. (Day 8F) I’m defoliating small amounts of leaves and sucker branches but this thing is out of control. Every 12-18 hours I see noticeable growth. I want to do a heavy strip around day 21. Starting to see budlets and pistil clumps form! These plants don’t seem like huge stretchers but I’m still anticipating quite a jump in the next few weeks. (Day 10F) Everything is looking just perfect. I’m surprised how fast these 10 gallon pots are drying out now. They go from soaked to light and airy within a few days. Hopefully I can make it the next 2 weeks without seeing any N or Mg deficiencies.

Espero 30 minutos y despues aplico otros 6 litros con los siguientes nutrientes: ▪️︎4ml de Connoisseur A y B por litro de agua. ▪️︎2ml de Nirvana por litro de agua. ▪️︎2ml de Big Bud por litro de agua. ▪️︎2ml de Overdrive por litro de agua. ▪️︎2ml de Voodo Juice por litro de agua. No tengo medidor de EC, por lo tanto trato de que las mediciones en ml sean exactos con una jeringa. ☆ 1 día a la semana riego las plantas con 6 litros de agua sin nutrientes y con un PH en 6.0, hasta el momento no han presentado carencias pero tengo la duda si tienen exceso de nitrógeno por el color verde intenso de las hojas.
