I installed a PH controller but it didn't work right and only the ph up peristaltic pump is working. I will use this over my vacation as my PH drifts down naturally so this should work until i get a replacement. I watered in my gsc and other seedlings until runoff with 850 ppm heavy in nitrogen to green them up as the organic top dressing is taking too long.will see how they respond.on week 4 day 4 They are responding well to nitrogen Gsc is taking off!!!will continue nitrogen until end of this week as needed.

beginning of week 7 of flower: This week was really tough for this plant. 2 times the power outlet seemed to have some issue. I think it’s a physical hardware issue inside the wall. I’ve ran the extension cord from another location in the room, and haven’t had any issues since. Considering she only got about 5 hours of light in a 48 hour span, I feel she’s looking pretty good. The smell of the plant is really getting strong. When I first open the tent there’s an almost overwhelming citrus smell in the air. I really enjoy it.

Hey folks, its been a while and I am happy to say we can start our first outdoor summer grow! So I recently got my hands on some 4 week-old clones of some purple kush from my pops indoor grow and will give it a chance for outdoors. I do understand that they are a bit finicky to grow outdoors due to its dense bud structures, but i'm willing to give them a chance. We are starting off with 15 gal fabric pots with Pro-Mix BX series soil amended with Gia Green Organics all purpose 4-4-4 with 2-8-4 bloom to a ratio of 70/30 @3Tbs/Gal of media. The clones then were transplanted and watered with dechlorinated pH 6.5 tap water. Lets see how they turn out! Cheers! :)

Day 57: #1 has been successfully transplanted to a 10gal smartpot. We used ocean forest soil and happy frog mixed at a ratio of 1:3. It has higher p&K and were getting ready for flower Day 59: #2 is still in the 3gal pot of happy frog. She isn't showing any signs of nutrient deficiency or stress and because of size restrictions I think I'll leave her in this pot. Day 61: watered with real growers recharge today. 1st time watering since transplanting #1. And she seemed to be okay. We have decided to start watering every day and not for run off.i cant get a good routine and sometimes they get bone dry. So to avoid that we will water a couple cups every day and allow 36hrs of drought 1x a week. Day 63: Pulled the girls out for a photo OP tonight 😁 also we watered #2. Then we did a mild defoliation because the new optic 8+ arrived today!!! The entire tent is set for flower!! I will be starting flower tomorrow morning and also be taking clones from these girls as well so we can get some good info logged on how the Choc mint clones too! Mother plant is growing at an extremely low rate, its focus was on leaf growing so over the week. I starting removing and the plant is starting to take shape. I think I'll be able to grab a nice pair of clones in 5-7 days. Days 42-46 Slowly over the past few days. I took all of the fan leaves off 1 set a day. Kept the feed low to not stress her. Hopefully I can get 2 good clones. Keeping everything simple as stated in the past few weeks. (If you want more info read back.) Ppm kept between 3-350 and master root, etc. All detailed in detail. Day 47-48 Plant has finally started growing its nodes. The two top ones are ready to go. didn't remove any leaves. I'll veg this for 4 more weeks and flip. As I've said before. This one will be kept on Xpert Nutrients. Day 49 Pheno is doing well. Amazing growth the past 24 hrs. She's coming into a real stride. Day 7-9: Had a good environment overall, although the light was probably much too high. I didn't realise until quite late that it should have been 60cm above the seedling, and I had it around 120cm at first, and then 80cm. As a result the stem is a bit stringy. Day 9: I lowered the light to 60cm above the plant, and it won't go any lower. the recommended for this light is 30cm above the canopy, according to this very useful article: https://www.growweedeasy.com/how-far-grow-lights, but it's still in seedling stage and I'm guessing the plant will grow up a bit more, and I can always lower a little bit more. Also it's pretty damn hot, so I don't want to overdo it on the lights. I've been keeping the water consistent and just topped up a little on recommended nutrients (more grow, a little micro, adding a little bloom as it comes closer to flowering). The reason for this is because I want to maintain the consistency of environment and monitor the plant for any signs of unwellness. Because Sativas are sensitive to nutrient burn, I'm being conservative in this respect. The temperature with the light lowered is a steady 26 C, and I'm maintaining the humidity at around 70%. This is pretty good for this strain, as a sativa it likes higher temps and humidity. The water pH is around 5.9, also desirable. I've also been wondering if the plant is getting enough CO2. Is it necessary to buy a measurement device and some CO2 bags? Overall the plant seems very happy and is looking healthy. Day 10: cleaned the inside, added more grow, added more clay pellets since she looks a bit thin and stalky and needs extra support, and there were not many pellets present. Light distance is currently around 60cm. Though it won't go any lower with the straps, I will look at lowering it more with some extra rope as the ideal height will eventually be 30cm for this 250W HPS light. Added more Ph buffer yesterday evening and we're currently sitting around 5.7 ph. I was aiming for 5.8 but this is still acceptable. Temperature is around 25 - 26 C, humidity is around 70%, though I will begin lowering this as she grows. I will probably replace the water sometime this week. Upon further investigation I realised that my water levels were too high, and were possibly suffocating the stem. I reduced water levels by a few cm since I had previously been topping up without realising possible damage. I feel like today is the day that this seedling is finally becoming a plant. She has grown some long roots already. Day 11: I further lowered the light to around 40cm using some extra string. It's not super ideal, but for now it's ok. The plant was falling over it's own weight so I added some extra pellets around it for support and it seems to work. I'm hoping she won't stretch as much now that the light is lowered. The inside fan is still on and on full power to build up extra stem strength and keep temperature down. I'm attempting to keep humidity around 60%, a little lower than before. The temperature is significantly higher with the light lowered, easily maintained by periodically opening the door and leaving in cool air from outside which runs just past the intake fan. I'm slightly concerned about the Monstera Deliciosa plant which is sitting just opposite and above the intake fan. Would this have any effects, positive or negative, on the grow? Google is coming back blank on this.

Start of week 5, the girls are looking promising. Trichome production is in full flow now, leaves and buds getting very frosty. Slowly increasing the EC in 0.1 increments to avoid overfeeding and nutrient burn but still push the genetics. Also added a dehumidifier to help keep the humidity down and in range. Although not a whole lot to do, pH and EC parameters are still very important. Will be checking in, the next few days.

I have hid the diary at this point. I think the plant is diseased. I am gonna start a new one. Gonna keep track of this one till it dies or snaps out of it. She is starting to shoot her first pistils. I don't think she is in full flower yet but well on her way. She has taken all the lst and defoliation I throw at her. I added a silica additive since I want this lady to have superman stems to take my torture. Day 32 - She is really drinking a lot right now. I had to water earlier than expected and will also increase the amount I am giving.
