So I started in a rockwool cube. This week I put her in SOIL. Unfortunately it seems I'm unable to change the grow medium. So there's that. Anyway... Her leaves are really light shade of green however this is by no means a nitrogen deficiency. It's either just the genetics of the strain or a pheno. Ive heard people saying this strain flowers really fast so I was expecting her to flower this week.That did not happen. Kind of a good thing to be honest. Maybe this week however I am in no rush Anyways... I how to put her in soil at the beginning of the week because her one inch rockwool starter was completely riddled with roots and could not take another day. Put her in a 4 liter pot with about 20% perlite and 80% potting soil. Unfortunately I had no microryza for the transplant. All is going well and just cruising along I will have to start training her with some LST.

Another week has flown by! The girls are doing great, cruise control this week as I have just been monitoring RH and temps. Trying to keep them as low as possible, I’ve been getting as low as 74 during the day and 68 at night. I finally took a look a look at the trichomes with my jewellers loop, lots of cloudy, and a few amber around the leaves and top colas, but still lot’s of clear trichomes. I’ve ordered myself a wireless/usb digital microscope to assist with the process, and looks like it will be here just in time to determine harvest day. 😎🎄 I started by eliminating the nutrients at the beginning of the week. I typically allow for 3-4 pure water feeds before I harvest, and at the rate they have been drinking, this should be enough to get through the 7-12 days they have before harvest. I don’t flush, but rather “rinse” with normal water amounts, allowing the plant to use up the remaining nutrients in the soil. This also allows me to recover most of the soil from my grows and reuse ♻️ with other soil mix. There has been great debate and a great deal of bro science out there for many years, but the recent studies suggest there is no difference in end result when it comes to flushing or using nutrients right until the end, if a proper dry and cure is performed. Week 7 for 9lb Hammer F2 They have now been getting proper sun light not just shade even though its been quite cloudy the last week with temps dropping a bit at night to 11/12 degrees. Not getting much growth but seem to be drinking more water so hoping the roots are doing some work to push some size by next week. 👊

10/14 - A new week of flower begins. Watered today with just short of a gallon of water. Look forward to see what the next couple weeks bring, and hope that they start to show signs that they want to work on a finish. 10/17 - Looked back at the flower picture posted yesterday, caused me to take a closer eye in the tent. Appears the Chinook Haze is starting to purple around the flower fan leaves, at the most extreme edge, and barely visible when just looking at the plant. 10/18 - Watered today, just under a gallon. 10/20 - Week 8 is down. I have noticed a couple hairs starting to turn color, and emphasis on couple, as it isn't many. Still looks like a while to go for her.

Oct 26, 2019 Orange Juice (1) – Day 29 Veg/Day 0 Flower (30% Indica/70% Sativa) (63-70 days) Blueberry Headband (2) – Day 29 Veg/Day 0 Flower (70% Indica/30% Sativa) (65-70 days) Cheese (1) – Day 29 Veg/Day 0 Flower (60% Indica/40% Sativa) (50-60 days) Several issues have been corrected in the last 48 hours. Also, a new LST technique I’m trying. First, am PHing everything. The RO water that I use is 7 or above. Not ideal and has caused some nutrient lockout. Second, lowered the light Much closer. At 100% power, my light is best for veg at 24” and for flower at 18”. The light was at around 36” or more from the canopy. Third, I put a weakass fan drawing air down a 2 1/2“ pipe from the top of the grow closet to about 6-8” above the floor. Meant to recycle some of the warm air. Have seen instant results. It is actually easier keeping the environment consistent. My overnight temp is now 20-22C and daytime is 27-25C. Only a 5 degree difference. Have started making tea from Gaia fertilizer, seaweed extract, Epsom salts and Molasses. PH 6.2-6.8. Feeding every second watering.
