After massive problems with canopy height and single branches growing past the LEDs, I finally decided to move the carbon filter down to the bottom of the tent. Due to some complications with running the pipe down the bottom also, I had to keep the pipe running out the top of the tent. But thats the deal I have to take right now, I dont think t will hurt my yield significantly. Substrate EC is on a more moderate level than the week before to promote buds stacking up the branches. Right now 3.8 with a target of 3.0 by end of week 6. Edit END of WEEK 5: Canopy is full with trichomes, everything glitters like its winter time. I noticed substantial bulking, so we are at the right pace ending the week 5 and going into week 6. Still 4 weeks to go, i expect a very big yield this time...

This adventure seems like it'll be zenzational! These seeds were the first to burst and also first to sprout from soil out of all the other strain. Ladies are on a mission, they stretched upwards and spread the first leaves fast! My thoughts are they'll be some bushy ladies! 😍 I placed the seeds in 500ml cups with BioBizz Light Mix soil, beforehand I mixed 1 gram of Synergy per 4 liters of soil. These are live microbes called Mycorrhiza which live in symbiotic association with the roots. My idea is to leave them in this container for about 14-21 days until the roots develop correctly then transplant them to their final pot which will be an 11L fabric pot. As the light mix soil comes blended for at least two week of life, no nutrients will be added until after the transplant. Happy growing!

I added kelp fertilizer to the water twice during the week. She is about 3 inches tall. I have had her under a dome for these past two weeks. Big week, started to strap down the trees. Tied branches to main stem and stakes around the plants so as to open them up a bit and provide support in case of windy conditions. Only staked the pair and not the three in the back yet. This was a bit of a mistake as the big one in the back needed it sooner. Defoliation of note... need to keep defoliating these trees all the time. Pretty relaxing though...

Day 15 of flowering: reduced the Grow component to 2 ml/L to reduce N at the same time increased the ml of Micro, bloom components to 4 ml/L according to the Advanced Nutrients table Day 20 of flowering: I turned on the air conditioner to keep the temperature level at 23 C Watering volume week 8: Day 15 -21 - 500 ml per day

Alright, I’ll be flipping in 5-7 days. I’m not quite satisfied but I need to get these moving so I can make room for my next grow.

Yesterday I planted 5 seeds of Candy Dawg auto in a germination tray using all-purpose potting soil. They are now covered with cling film and are being kept warm. Prayers were said and thanks given for this, the first (serious attempt at an) indoor grow. The aim of this and subsequent grows is to grow high-quality organic indicas so I can make RSO to help my father who is extremely sick after mainstream medicine failed to rid his body of cancer. The video got cut off when the battery died - I just mentioned that flowering plants need their sleep as much as we do :-)). Day 4: 4/5 of the seedlings are above ground! I am making the most of my space by growing a quick batch of microgreens (sunflowers and peas) At the moment they are germinating in the large tray with the weights and bricks on it. It is really dry in there (35% RH) so I filled the tray with water in an attempt to increase the RH. If anything it has gone down not up!! Time for a new plan.

🇺🇸 Grow Journal – Week 12 | Pineapple Upside Down (Veg) Week 12 of veg — the Pineapple Upside Down is cruising steady and looking stronger than ever. I’ve been letting her just do her thing, focusing on recovery and structure before deciding if I’ll top her later. At this stage, it’s all about patience and letting her build up natural vigor. Nutrient-wise, still running the Athena Blended line, holding the mix at EC 1.4. I’ve been experimenting with Athena Balance, and I have to say — it’s impressive. My base water pH usually fluctuates between 6.3 and 6.8, depending on the day. I add 1 ml of Balance, which actually brings it up close to pH 9.3. Once the nutrients are mixed in, the solution drops back down to around pH 7–7.2, and from there I fine-tune it with a touch of pH Down to land right around 6.0–6.1. I allow a gentle drift down to 5.8, but whenever it hits that mark, I bump it back up slightly to keep things steady around 6.1–6.2. Honestly, Athena keeps the reservoir incredibly clean — crystal clear every time. It’s one of those small details that really makes a difference when you’re running hydro long-term. Temperatures are holding around 22–23°C, with humidity between 70 and 75%, which keeps the environment perfect for steady vegetative growth. She’s lush, healthy, and just waiting for her turn in the flower tent — if I had more space, she’d probably be flipping already. That’s about it for this week — nothing flashy, just solid progress and patience. Can’t wait to see how she performs once she hits flower. This week has had amazing results, she was already growing at a fast pace and then started her pre flower stretch yesterday!
