Good day to all my friends and visitors here on GD. The finale grow week for the first Tropicanna XL is there (the one by the wall), she came out just lovely and the smell is mad. I could use it as perfume it's so rich and fruity, never had a plant with such outstanding fragrance. This week we start of changing the reservoir water to which I decided to add nutrients. Yes, this plant will not get a flush before harvest, it's the first time i'm not flushing a plant for the cut but you know only two of the four girls are ready to chop and it's not possible in my RDWC to seperate feed them. So yes it's kind of an experiment for me...some time ago i heard that "man does not need to flush"... yeah I don't really believe what the white coats tell us but then we watched Dr Bruce Bugbee stating the same thing and he quoted experiments performed by his team... I believe him, and I don't really have much choice. Something's not right with my fresh solution or the plants get root rot or something but the girls starting to show K deficiency...I ended up adding an insane amount of PK through the week...good that the plants are on the finish line :) The SE7000 runs at 550 Watt and about 33cm from the canopy and is doing an astounding job. The girls are still doing well! I haven't topped or LST'ed yet as I'm waiting for them to get one more node. Then I'm going to top and start the LST. Unsure if I'm actually going to do SCROG this time since I've got four plants going instead of 2 or 3 like in the past. Space is limited. We'll see though... I'm using FoxFarm Happy Frog soil and added earthworm castings to that whenever I moved the plants to the 3-gallon bags so I'm sure I won't have to properly feed until several more weeks at least from now. My last batch which was 3 Gelat.O.G autos and I didn't have to feed them until they were well into flowering. Love Happy Frog... FoxFarm all together really. I'll update whenever I decide to start the training this week. It may be tomorrow. 2/28/23: I still haven't started the LST yet, but I did top today. I was actually going to LST and top together but decided I'll give them a day or so to recover... plus, I didn't feel like getting down in the tent tonight... lolol 😍😘 3/1/23: Went ahead and started LST tonight. Let's see how this goes.

22/11/2021 all plants are doing well with some clearly larger than others. they have taken well to the root juice and the bio heaven and will continue root juice in the first week. Light is at 50% brightness. 26/11/2021 - masses of leaves - plants have taken to the pots well - slight bending issue with one where it was stretching for the light but it is now propped with sticks so hopefully will straighten out. All plants look set to be nice and tall.

Flushing

This was my first time growing outdoors, and this variety did well in Eastern Ontario region. I started seeds indoors and put the mainlined plants in the garden in early May. They were done flowering September 27th. The plants were beautiful and purple. The flavour is sweet and earthy. This is remains my favourite variety. One thing I learned from this outdoor grow is that I need to allow more space between plants. One of these Purple Kush plants was choked out and didn't grow as well as she could have. Next year I'll do a better job.

This plant has been a Beast has been going very healthy and very strong I have been defoliation heavily to ensure maximum light penetration into the canopy in order to make them ready for flowering cycle . Currently running on 12/12 cycle. I will continue to update thank you for reading have a happy grow

Growing fast! Hopefully 🤞🏼 I timed it right. The plan is to switch them to the 5x3 with a stronger light for flowering. Really want to get these girls under a stronger light!

Week 5 of flower: Well I had held out hope that this plant was just a late bloomer and she would really burst into flowering but that hope has faded. I think there is a combo of things at play here. One is just genetics. It’s always a role of the dice when it comes to starting from seed. Also, I had set up my air stones in a different orientation and unbeknownst to me it had created a bit of a whirlpool within the cooler and the roots wrapped up on themselves. This stunted grow a bit as well I am sure. The smell of this plant is out of this world though!! It’s a sweet orange scent that is just intoxicating so I will have to run this again next run and try to get a better flowering phenotype. Onward 😎🍻

Shes having her last flush today on her day 75. Its a late journal im totally new here and at growing too since i started this new passion on late december 2019 so 6 months ago or already 2 harvest ago lol. Just to let everyone know that this is my first time ever growing automatics too and wont be the last cause ill go again in auto mode next run. 1st run was fem seeds from crop king too the blue cookie. No lst or defoliation on this run cause im too new to this and i tried in my first run and i made so many mistakes lol. Not this time oh no :D I gave myself a chance to learn about my plants and how to feed well this time.

Day 165 14/10/24 Monday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with calmag today Starting to see new growth showing no signs of new seeds!! She is spitting out new pistils again, I may run nutes for this week then flush , as trichomes are looking clear still with only spots of cloudy. Picture's (over exposed to light) 📸 Day 167 16/10/24 Wednesday Feed today 😁 using de-chlorinated tap water phd to 6.3. Her pistils keep maturing rapidly, but then I check twice a day and each time I check, they look either orange and almost showing finished signs... Then she slaps out another round of pistils and trichomes are coming cloudy still. She may well be a 12 week flower. I'll keep feeding till I see majority cloudy. Picture and video update 📸💚 Day 168 17/10/24 Thursday (End of week) Damn!!! Found two tops, overnight turn brown hairs, and sugar leaves yellow and dry. Needless to say two tops had been attacked by mould. After a heavy detailed inspection of plant, it is only these two tops. So I have removed, bagged and hoping now no new mould is spotted 🤦‍♂️ Rest of the plant looks and smells fantastic 💚 I have update pictures and a video 📸💚 Day 169 18/10/24 Friday Damn, she has lost another 2 tops due to mould. I'm gutted, so to stop any further disappointment, I am chipping her tonight before lights on 💚✌️ Note to self- lesson learned when doing Scrog, Lollipop MORE. I have left too much on and it has reduced airflow causing humidity to stay above 62%.

Gestern haben wir unser Pflanze entlaubt, damit sie Luft bekommt und weniger Ungeziefer mit ins Zelt bringt. Dann wurde sie gestretcht damit sie durch die Türen passt. Im Zelt angekommen haben wir die Folie entfernt und haben die hohen Nebentriebe mit Strick unter Low-Stress Verfahren befestigt. Somit bekommen jetzt auch die unteren Triebe/ Blüten ausreichend und mehr Licht. Da sie jetzt sicherlich wieder ausreichend gestresst ist, sehen wir erstmal in den nächsten Tagen keine Entlaubung vor. Dies werden wir dann ca. Ende der Woche vornehmen. Bisher wenig Ungeziefer, zusätzlich haben wir 3 Gelbtafeln reingehangen. Die Lampe war gestern zur Eingewöhnung auf 400/600 Watt eingestellt, ab heute sind wir auf volle Leistung gegangen mit 720 Watt inkl. Deep Red Mode. Wir freuen uns auf die folgende Woche und wünschen allen Growern eine schöne Restwoche und viel Erfolg beim Growen!
