A 4 hour planned power outage in my area gave me the excuse to flip the girls. Kept the lights off for a cycle then immediately went 12/12. Although the temperature dropped to a root freezing 58°F, the reservoir didn't have a chance to fluctuate much and I also kept my air pumps running for an extra hour and a half off my computer backup battery! The battle with root rot is basically over. I am taking care to rinse the roots every once and a while. Growth has been amazing! Loving DWC! It also gives me things to do as I lie to pay attention to my plants. Doing a thorough clean with H2O2 every res change. PPM is around 800-900. Drops fast now. Every two days I check PH and correct if necessary. Usually it's been around 6.2-6.3 when I check. I PH it back down to 5.8. I've heard that flowering is a little on the acidic side so I'm planning on dropping my PH to 5.5-5.6. Did a major defoliation after this diary entry. Will do another in three weeks. 12/8 Soil still damp from last water, nutrients today or tomorrow, bottom leaves are yellowing, trichomes are forming on colas. 12/10 Fed nutrients today she got enough water for runoff, top inch soil was dry and she just looked hungry as hell, looking to defoilate the yellow leaves pictured, 26 inches today, top cola is 5 inches from light other colas are at least 10 inches from light, now i know why people LST!!! Next grow for sure. seeing some yellow tips on the top fan leaves.. nothing major, but understandably so. 12/13 watered today not too much but top soil was dry, more defoliation of yellow fan leaves, temps and humidity are back up, she smells like skunk so far, hard to describe, definitely getting chunky and filling up the main cola👍 12/14 high humidity 90%, leaves are looking glossy, more defoliation of bottom fan leaves

Overall was a pretty straight forward grow, had no issues through flowering until the last few weeks when she began to foxtail. This was either due to high temps or genetics, personally I think it was due to high temps and poor climate control on my end. Although she foxtailed the buds still feel rock solid and smell of dank candy with a hint of fuel. The bud to leaf ratio was high and there was very little to trim, I’m hoping for a minimum of 7 days to dry, il try push 10 days, but my environment for drying is not the best at the moment. Fattys gettin bigger & bigger,all seems to run smoothly, that was the last lst (I hope), thinking about defoliation next week, its a little jungle in there.

End of week 9 in bloom (day 62), so far so good. Buds starting to mature (except one Malawi plant), leaves are yellowing, trichomes are getting milky so i am waiting... Just 3 liters of water every 4 days. I think i have 1-2 weeks before harvest the first one. Will see

I love this strain. Really strong genetics. Nice fruity and og kush like smell. Cant wait to harvest and try them.
