2024-09-07 I planted 3 Seeds into 15l growbags, filled with terra Preta Mix I got 2 Phenotypes, 2 plants started to flower after 4 weeks, and were harvested after 5 more week into flower, quite fast i had to place them under a roof, because it was soo cold and rainy when harvest came , they gave me around 30g of dry weed.( each) they smelled delicious, and were shimering nicely because of the trichomes. budformation was like lots of small rosebuds, around the colas the second Phenotype, started slow, but was growing much bigger, and showed big and dense Buds i think she harvested around 60 grams dry. thats very good, but she dont like high humidity , there is always the risk to catch some mold so placing her under a roof was essential

8/5-After letting the bottom branches grow for another 4 days they were showing plenty of amber and had firmed up enough to harvest. Did a rough trim and hung the branches in Cannatrol Cool Cure to dry. 8/11-Overall the buds were a lot smaller than previous Mephisto grows. I'm going to let them cure for 2-3 weeks and then do a real taste test.

Week 1 pretty regular giving Co2 early. Yeast method through seedling stage now with a diffuser. First cut of manifold was made 3 healthy looking plants.

Week 6th done so far so good i put scrog net down and small bit of defoliation to get some air flow through the canopy next week i will be put another scog net down to open some light penetration for the lower buds

11/07/25: We just entered the third week of flowering and the explosive growth definitely stopped in the past few days! Buds are forming nicely along every branch, stacked with those first white pistils! In the close-ups, you can see those tight clusters starting to take shape, soon the candy factory will be open for business! 🍬I gave them a light feed of Plagrom Green Sensation (1ml/L) to keep the flower sites happy, and they are clearly loving it. No signs of stress, just pure jungle energy. 🦍

We had approx 4 inches (10 cm) of rain this past week which is a lot for this area. Soil has a lot of moisture but not too wet. Excellent growth in veg stretching a fair bit and starting to show signs of early flower development. Preflowers have a bit of resin: smells quite skunky and a bit like burned rubber, or mercaptans/thiols. Need some sun and heat.

As expected with regular seeds, we had both males and females, and this was the week we identified them all. From the original 12 beans, 5 revealed themselves as proud ladies while the rest — equally stunning in structure and expression — turned out to be males. 🌿 💚 Let’s talk about regular seeds and plant sex: Regular seeds are unsexed, meaning they can become either male or female. It’s a 50/50 genetic roll of the dice — and with unique mutant genetics like these, identifying sex isn’t always easy early on. Males typically show small pollen sacs, often referred to as “bananas” in their early stage. Females develop pistils, the first hairs of the flowers we’re after. Male plants, while beautiful and structurally fascinating (especially in this mutant project), can compromise a flowering room if left unchecked. Their pollen can fertilize female plants, leading to seeded buds — great if breeding, not great for clean flower. So, we say goodbye, thank them for their beauty, and move forward with the ladies to full bloom. The males? Should be bulking up soon I'm still resistant to defoliating but I must clean up some older leaves. 05/27/2020 Finally got to defoliating a little today buds everywhere! Holy crap! Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. It’s the 9th week of flower and this run is slowly coming to an end. Mimosa is by far the fastest finisher here. In 8 weeks there is around 30 % amber trichomes in the top buds. A little too much for my taste. I ve reduced the ec in the medium of mimosas to around 1.0 and took the drippers out. Now they will dry out fully in around 1 or 2 days and I will chop. The rest is more or less similar and will go for about a week more.
