Finally found a balanced Nute mix 3-4 ml cal-mag 3-4 ml floranova bloom. The smell outside is wonderful where the vent exhausts. old leafs are being used up for energy, as the buds fatten looks normal for this plant. Whole this is top heavy now when it comes time to water the 3gal pot hardly keeps it upright. This is a 20% soil mostly coco mix so watering daily 1-2 times with 1.25gal.

Day 72 - 07/01/20 This one was the only survivor of my 4 x RQS diary. my blueberry auto, jack herer auto and GG auto didnt sprout but the diesel did and here is her harvest! I added some nice photos of the plant and the yield was 325g wet weight. Should be over an ounce once its dried. Update - Dry weight was 30g although much of the bud is small :) Ive been curing for a few days and its insane how the flavour and burn changes throughout curing :) Update - Day 78 - 13/01/20 The sweet diesel smell and taste is coming through. buds are becoming more and more enjoyable to smoke as days go by. :) il post a few pictures later tonight! Added the photos of some buds and a video so you can all have an opinion on how my buds turned out visually. let me know in the comments :) Il do a few more curing updates to let you know how the second week of curing goes! Day 86 - 21/01/20 I finally finished the NYCD after about 2 weeks of curing. It smokes fairly well and is definitely the best thing ive grown so far :) Buds developed quality and a sweet earthy diesel flavour/aroma over the 2 weeks of curing. one major improvement i would make is to source high quality soil as i really struggled to flush this properly. even still without lab quality conditions ive never felt so depression free since ive been taking this medicine regularly. to finish up i will say that I liked the NYCD diesel taste but i still preferred sour diesel. The plant grew to a reasonable height around 60cm and produced an ounce of average bud. and I might not have won any GD competitions, but im still a winner! :'D Lucky for us I just started an Sour Diesel Auto from fastbuds so you can check that out to see what i thought of it compared to this one :)

So those girls were transfered from main room, theirs veg story you'll find in Checkpoint diary by Sweet Seeds. In reality they veged for 5 weeks, beans didn't want to sprout, so planted two more. One from first two- didn't make it... Everything with them postponed a bit and i decided to try out other training method and new version/interpretation of FIMing. They got 30 hours of darkness, looked sad a bit, but just 3 hours under new sun - they are happy as f@ck again ;))) Will feed them later today with full range of BioBizz. Will update charts. Day 6. Girls loved food, no big stretch yet ... Happy Growing !!!

Started putting on weight and smelling really good. Hairs are tiring orange but trichs are all still clear. Might need to support the buds if they keep packing it on like they have.

Update time. (1 day early) During week 8 Watered once with compost tea (Worm castings and unsulfured molasses) Light defoliation every few days on bottom leaves/popcorn buds Noticed some of the girls fan leaves are darker than others. These autos are very sensitive to nutes/light/watering. **Promoted to Apprentice Grower. Thanks!! :D Plan for week 9 Planning on adding phosphate/potassium with dry amendments one more time during this week. Nitrogen seems to be showing a bit high in a few of the girls and not in the others. Not sure if its early N toxicity or just the genes of the plants. Feeding each one the same. Watering with regular PH water 6.6-6.8 (checking run off) More minor defoliation as I see fit. Overall really happy still with this grow! I am definitely a "Newbie" when it comes to growing Autos so this is a great learning experience. I have noticed these girls really don't need too heavy of nutrients and are very sensitive plants. Today is day 16 since coming out of the ground. I have to say I am surprised by the tempo of the growth. In my previous grow of these strains it took much longer. I attribute this to the Bilberry Lamp. It is going on 50% of its power but you can see just how well they are growing. If they continue to go in this tempo I might shorten the veg period by a week or so. I have fed them for the first time this week. I gave them 1ml of BAC Organic Grow and minimal doses of Root Stimulator and CalMag. Normally I would not do this, I would just give them the root stimulator but I know these strains like to “eat” a lot when they develop so I prefer to give them something to avoid a deficit in the future. Pheno one is going great, looks perfect and just like the previous Gelato I did from Humboldt Sherbinskis line. Pheno two has show another small mutation. You can see that one blade on the second fan leaf is a little deformed. However the development rate of the plant is fantastic, it is slightly better than Pheno one but Pheno one shows no mutations. I STILL have NOT decided wich one of the two I will leave for flowering. As I wrote before I don't like leaving things up to chance and I always do at least a small selection. I hope I can get another 2 to 3 weeks of growth out of them , at least out of the tops colas. "Big Bud" or genetics pulling through into fourth week of flower . Smelling fruits and nuts and fuel with a hint of lemon sugar cotton candy.😁

12/01/2021 FIMed all plants a second time, and also FIMed the tips of the other main branches of all plants. They will get another dose of Recharge with their next feeding tomorrow. I will give them exactly one week to recover from this FIMing, and will flip these plants to a 12/12 light flowering schedule. These girls are supposed to have a flower period of about 45 days, but I am expecting to have to run them about 50 days or so. My goal is to get over 8 ounces of nice bud on this run. 12/02/2021 I fed two gallons of water with the nutrients listed above. 12/05/2021 I gave all the girls a second major defoliation. I plan to switch to 12/12 flower cycle this Tuesday evening. 12/06/2021 I removed a few leaves and fed two gallons of water with the nutrients listed above. These girls are doing excellent. They have responded very well to the major defoliation that they received. I will flip them to the 12/12 flower cycle in a day or two I believe. I uploaded a couple of pictures of the strains I plan to grow in the future, which is mostly Humboldt Seed Company genetics

Both plants have almost stopped growing in heigth now and are in full flowering mode now. Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) Plant #1 is 15 cm shorter than plant #2, but a little bushier. Both have grown very well and are strong and healthy. They get more and more flower clusters now and start to fill up all branches. Trichomes start to appear all over...the plants start to get sticky and develop a weak sweet aroma now. Its time to take off the biggest fan leaves now for defoliation, I took a round of pics before and after.

Day 63 This plant has been trained into a wide, flat shape, with multiple tops spread out evenly across the pot. The structure is low and bushy, clearly influenced by topping or LST, which has opened up the canopy for better light penetration. Leaf color is generally healthy, a strong green with decent vibrancy, though some variation is visible. The lower leaves show stress — one is yellowed and deteriorating, likely from nutrient deficiency (older growth being consumed) or simply natural fading. The canopy looks vigorous and responsive to training, but growth is still somewhat restrained; the plant doesn’t yet have explosive vertical energy. The root zone may still be recovering from earlier stress, but the overall appearance suggests it’s adapting well. Going forward, the key will be to maintain even watering and steady nutrition, supporting strong root activity. Some light defoliation could help airflow under the canopy and direct energy into the developing tops. If conditions stay stable, this plant should be able to bounce back and continue filling the space effectively. Ive got a little Problem with watering , she needs some time to recover

On day 1 the reservoirs PH is 6.3. The plants are starting to bulk up now. On day 2 I changed out the reservoir and adjusted the PH to 6.1. On day 3 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 6.3 to 6.1. On day 4 the reservoir is holding at 6.1. My right plant experienced another run away so I reduced flow rate by one carrot can't quite get it right this run... The colas are really starting to fatten up 😀 On day 5 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 5.8 to 6.1. On day 6 I adjusted the PH of the reservoir from 6.4 to 6.2. On day 7 I adjusted the PH of the reservoir from 5.9 to 6.2.
