This week I tried to let them go, only did some gnat hunting with the vacuum to keep populations down. Sunshine found a great way to hold the plant down with some thrift store Christmas light fixtures. At the end of this week, I tied the remaining upward stalks down and away. The final bits of training before we can hopefully go towards flowering coming week. I did some foliar feeding also to help the soil dry out a bit, also to fight the gnats. Maybe overdid it a bit with a few yellow points on the leaves. On to flowering!!

So today is the day i switch my plants to flowering lights schedule and flowering nutes, started with 1/4 the recommended dosage and will gradually up them, only boosters i left at recommended values. Ppm is 800. Next will be 100, then 1200 and maybe 1400. I plan to flush on days 16, 28, 35 and 42 of flowering, leave them to dry for 4-5 days so roots will oxygenize and help to stack more dense buds, and then add nutes. I plan to do the final flush for last 2 weeks with flawless finish. You can see some before and after training photos and videos from today, defoliated some leaves and LST-ing branches, spreading them out last time so light can reach smaller branches, after all she got some more stretching to do and its why i left sensi grow with more Nitrogen. So the soil plants have reached the flushing stage. Hit the with the last dose of kleanse two days ago and then a big bath of straight ph water this evening. Will flush them for about another week. The plan is to cut the four soil plants down next weekend. The trichromes are all cloudy and starting to get some Amber’s. The buds especially the tops are all dense and sticky. All four plants even tho being same strain have very unique characteristics. But all have the same sticky gas smell. The frost production is pretty amazing with the cyco I was a little nervous about the bud density at first but they really packed weight in the last few weeks. The hydro plant is about a week behind but man is it big AF! It’s got as much bud as two of the soil plants easily! The roots have been kinda out of control but it will be fine with how late it is. The hydro buds already have more density I. The buds compared to where the soil plants were at this stage but so that is exciting. I have a good feeding of the flowering nutes in the res now. Day 44- I need to back off on the water nutes, I am forgetting the soil is strong enough. I will flush with plain water next time. Maybe I should do a plain water foliar feed? I’m still learning. But I think those B vitamins are keeping their metabolism high! Then I feel the need to spoon feed. After giving them much needed calcium, I start adding other things. Those Epsom Salts plus the amino acids on a plant with high metabolism receiving more B1, all while having lots of amended neem cake in the media, is going to be processing a sh*t load of nitrogen! Back to plain water. Another idea, maybe I will flush a little bit, and feed just CalMag. Day 48 I realized I haven’t gotten any pictures in for this week! Not that big of a mistake compared to the one I just corrected! The video is taken when they are back inside for the night as it a cold windy night, and they could use more light. I am not talking because I am sick and can’t talk to well. But it’s just quickly showing how they look after the whole ordeal I am about to mention. So I woke up this morning, and noticed all of the plants were showing subtle signs of a deficiency. Different deficiencies too! Some are going on the calcium deficiency, others potassium, some manganese even maybe a few others to be honest. Sometimes I could only see signs in the old leaves, and other times I would see signs in new leaves. Either way “most” of them were looking pretty good. But something about all this variability with different plants was oddly unsettling to me. I figured I had better stick the soil pH meter in there and make sure it’s not a pH issue. And to my horror, pH of barely 4.5!! More like 4.20! But honestly it was that low!!!! A miracle these plants haven’t locked out yet! But how did this happen? Yes it is all coming together for me. Every water I have been giving feed-water. I have been watering with a little runoff, but not enough runoff to manage what I was putting in! I’ve been “feed-watering” a lot more than usual because the pots are tiny and it’s super hot and mega dry during the days. Like 75-80 degrees (F) and 10-25% relative humidity lately. So no wonder they are drying out fast. All those salts left behind from last feed. So they built up, apparently pretty high. I didn’t think I was feeding too much, especially because I would get a descent amount to drain out the bottoms every time. Either way, I fed too heavy and flushed too little! So I brought out the foxfarm SLEDGEHAMMER!!!!! Did a quick flush, flushed with plain water to get the sledgehammer out, then a recheck on the soil pH meter. Comes out 6.8! So I gave feed-water at ph of 7 afterwords. They were dry enough before all of this, I conveniently avoided damping issues. Now they will dry out and receive plain pH 7 RO water on next watering. I still have lots of doubt as if I have any clue what I am doing! But so far so good. I try to support the microbes as much as possible, i definitely could use their support. And it might be because of the microbes, CalMag and fulvic acid, that has prevented lockout. But yeah the fact the pH in the soil was corrected with a flush, gives me a peace of mind. The other three from “The Hondo Titan” diary had high levels of sulfur to lime, the flush did not fix, so I repotted them in new soil with pH 7. Also those hydroton expanded clay pebbles become rich with acidic salts, because the water leaves and all the nutes and minerals are captured and stored with the pebbles. Good in small levels. But if the pot dries out every day, those pebbles will eventually make the pH meter smack the end suggesting less than pH of 3.5!!!!!!!! But no pebbles were used on these girls thankfully!!

Ok had to start flowering this week because of overall height now I see I should have got a taller tent but oh well. Started 12 on 10th I believe also moved some wires around and got a few more inches out of the light so I'm at 19 and 20 inches from lamp can't get no more unless I move exhaust fan light is now 75% started feeding terpinator its supposed to increase taste we will see later on also gave first dose cal mag I think I was borderline calcium deficiency plants really looked good after cal mag also feed unsulfered blackstrap molasses half dose tiger bloom and full dose open sesame cutting down on my nitrogen a little. To bad I can't smell shit right now been sick past few days probably got covid for real. The one branch on my one plant has an extra thick stem on it and at top extra leaves coming out guess its a mutant from to much nitrogen unless someone else know what it is overall it's been an ok week can't wait for the next few just hope I don't get to tall

Stopped feeding this week other than one watering with molasses. Needing to be watered every 3 days. Other wateringsu using ph'ed filtered water set on my air bubbler for a few hours before watering. Bud height is tapering off but this plants buds are getting very plump and dense. They are much larger than I expected for the number of tops i have. The canopy depth is also very good and should amount to a great yield. Very happy with the frostiness and odor. She is going to be very potent. Looking like it will be on the easier aide to trim as well. No real signs of fading yet but most of the hairs are orange and not seeing many new white ones. Trichomes still look like they are developing but getting very close.

End of week 4 and I have a bit more to report this week. On day 22 I topped this girl and she was a little slow to react, turns out my thermometer was in a bad spot and the girls were getting hammered by the heater 🤦‍♂️ lesson learned. Since re-positioning the thermometer they have bounced back and happy as Larry again, thank goodness. On day 27 i had brewed up my first compost tea and fed them a bit more than usual. The tea had a cup of Herbi's brew starter, a cup of work castings and a cup of organic compost. They loved it. I used the remains as a top dress afterwards. Today, on day 28, I defoliated and started LST, she's praying to the lights right now and I'm stoked! Hope you've all had a good week and thanks for checking in 🙏

Ehi ragazzi è già passata una settimana e neanche me ne sono reso conto! Si vede che l erba che sto fumando è bella potente per farmi rimanere in uno spazio/tempo non ben definito! Apparte questo divagamento, posso dire che i nutrienti stanno facendo effetto! La ragazza sembra che stia crescendo davvero bene , ogni settimana raddoppia le dimensioni circa , ora siamo già al quarto paio di foglie laterali e ho intenzione probabilmente in settimana di mettere la rete per iniziare a direzionare le piante,in modo da avere più cime possibilmente uniformi, ma soprattutto, avendo il problema dell altezza, cercherò di fare in modo che rimangano più basse possibile , dovrò studiare un metodo per farlo senza stressarle troppo e senza utilizzare tagli e toppature che in un autofiorente,necessiterebbero di troppo tempo per recuperare dal taglio e quindi la resa sarebbe minore,... Bene siamo solo all inizio e non vedo l ora di vedere come cresceranno queste ragazze magiche ! La luce FC E 300l è davvero impressionante! La sto usando al 50 % della potenza e devo dire che stanno crescendo in modo molto rigoglioso tutte le ragazze in modo uniforme anche ai lati, la luce è molto ben distribuita rispetto alla TS 1000 che avevo in precedenza , che nonostante tutto ha fatto il suo dovere e lo continuerà a fare in modo più che egregio! Lots of smells have become their own... The fried banana has this crazy skunk smell with a real earth dirt smell once the skunk fades... The orange cake NO kidding, smells like a fresh peeled orange and some kind of batter smell... It's nuts... The big Z has the immediate Skittles blast with a earthy afternote... And the paint is just like the last one and smells real chemical like! When u say the name it makes u smell the paint... Is that just me???? Hahaha anyways... Thats what I got .. everything is going amazing and for day 37 I think they've filled out real nice... Now hopefully they fatten up in the next 20-30 days!!!!
