Hi guys So here is my 10 plant auto run from fastbuds 420 genetics. I will update weekly on this one. So I'm going to be using 3 gal fabric pots filled with biobizz lightmix soil. I will be putting into solo cups after the 18 hour soak then transferring them to there for ever pots. Im looking forward to this run and trying to get 20oz + dry and cured out of this 4x4 tent grow. Part 2 of germination in operation in solo cups with root juice. Hopefully 10 out of 10 pop.

Hola! Antes que nada, quería pedir disculpas por no poder continuar las semanas de vegetación como correspondía, pero por cuestiones personales se me hizo imposible. Las fotos corresponden al ultimo dia de la semana 13 de la planta, el día 6/02/2021. En todo este periodo de crecimiento vegetativo realice mainlining, como muestro en la semana 5 subida, y luego deje que las dos ramas se desarrollen hasta tener 5 nudos cada una y realice en ambos extremos una poda apical, o topping. Luego, con tecnicas de LST fui torciendo las ramas para que vayan creciendo mas o menos parejas, pero al ser un cultivo outdoor obviamente esto no sucede tan prolijamente como en un indoor. Mas alla de eso, estoy contenta con el resultado: 10 ramas principales y muchas pequeñas en la vegetación. Fui haciendo defoliaciones suaves, y ahora le tocará la ultima antes de que empiece a florecer. Con respecto a esto, la planta sexó finales de enero, pero recién ahora esta comenzando a mostrar signos de que esta por empezar a florar, así que la semana que viene será la primera de flora. Esto por mas que parezca raro suele ser común por lo menos en esta region, muchas veces las plantas sexan antes y no muestran signos de comenzar a florecer hasta unas cuantas semanas después, nada que ver a como ocurre cuando uno controla el fotoperiodo. Por suerte la temporada viene siendo mas seca de lo normal, y poco lluviosa, por lo que tuve problemas con trips pocos días. En general cuando tocan veranos lluviosos se vuelve muy complicado tratar las plagas. En particular en mi patio suelo tener problemas con trips, pero no de otras plagas ya que las plantas de acompañamiento son suficiente para espantarlas. En las fotos notaran que el tronco principal esta partido en dos, esto sucedió cuando se le cayo un peso importante encima hace 4 semanas, pero con unas rápidas ataduras y la correcta nutrición la planta sano al 100%. Esto ha sido todo. Cualquier sugerencia es bienvenida. 💪 Saludos!! 😘

Days 35-42 (Day 36) Some minor problems starting to arise here. A few times this week it got up to 90+ degrees which I think may have caused a bit of heat stress in some of the plants. I’m seeing a bit of cupping/crinkles on some of the fan leaves and some of the new growth is looking pretty gnarled and twisted. I hear windburn can cause this too so I’m turning my fans down to low speed. This could also be a problem with humidity so I’m going to turn off my humidifier, dim the lights and raise them. During my last feeding I mulched in some worm castings but it seems like they’re keeping the soil/coco from drying out. Pots are still decently heavy and even the surface is still quite moist but they aren’t showing any major signs of overwatering. I figure it will only be a few weeks before the castings break down so I will just leave it. A few of the plants are starting to show yellowing leaf tips which is probably some kind of micro nutrient lockout from my PH being slightly too high. It could also be from nute burn so I will water in 6.0 until I see some runoff. Although the most likely culprit is potassium excess. I’ve been feeding potassium almost as much as nitrogen so far. I know that can cause the yellowing of leaf tips by locking out trace minerals. It can also cause leaf problems like crinkling. Excess K can even cause water retention! Will water at 6.0 until run off next watering. The lst is coming along nicely. It was a good idea to remove the first two sets of branches (not leaves). Now I have 4-6 perfectly even stems coming from each plant that I plan to top one more time each. (Day 37) Today I’m going to vacuum, clean, wipe down and spray all my equipment in the tent. I’ve been letting the floor get quite dirty and I haven’t had the chance for a thorough clean since last round. I’m kind of surprised I haven’t seen any powdery mildew yet. I guess the prevention spray is working because the room has to be infected from my last crop. (Day 40) I was reading that you can foliar spray whatever you are deficient in for an immediate uptake. I‘m going to try that with my current potassium excess since it locks out trace minerals. I’m going to foliar feed a bit of phytoplankton at 15ml/L and some MagnifiCal + VeloKelp from Remo nutrients both at 5ml/L. The cal mag is not organic but as long as it’s not going into the soil and doesn’t contain chlorine I’m fine with it. I’m also going to be changing the light cycle to 18/6 for the remainder of veg. This will be their first dark cycle so they can properly foliar feed. Edit: humidity shot up to 85% a few hours after foliar spray. I went to top dress everything today and I mixed up the plants while doing so! So the ones I was unsure about I gave 1 extra tablespoon. I won’t top dress again for at least 10 days. Might give a light tea sometime next week. I also tilled the shit out of the top of each pot. It had a hard crusty layer on top that was keeping the medium from drying out properly. I’m not going to water again until everything is bone dry. Then I will water until slight runoff at 6.0 ph with some Dr. Marijane bacteria/root probiotic. I’m starting too see a lot more of these abrasions on some of the bigger fan leaves. It almost looks like thrip damage but I’m 100% sure it’s not a pest above ground. It could be bulb mites, which I found in my worm castings but I can’t check until the roots are more established in their pots. The leaves themselves are cold and feel damp to the touch. I haven’t even seen a fungus gnat since I last fed. I’m hoping it’s related to the K excess and clears up with the troubleshooting. (Day 41) Just ordered a wire cube rack to prop my plants up with and help evaporation/root warmth. Each cube is 11.8”x11.8”x11.8” and it comes with 16 cubes. So it will fit just perfectly in my 4x4. Depending on the size, I might order another one for the flower room where I would need 25 cubes.

She continues to show good growth. I had to do some more defoliation this week to remove the bigger fan leaves...again. She's showing good bud formation and I am enjoying watching her grow. She is nice therapy after my heart attack. Growing relaxes me and gives me almost as much relief as the medicine I am growing.

Week 9! Day 65: 2L (pH6.8) + mild organic fertiliser from kitchen scraps. Remember the potato water I spoke of earlier? I blended it up with some ruined sweet peppers from the garden and some applecider vinegar & eggshell to give her one last, very diluted nutrient solution. This feed was aimed more at the soil than the plant. Bud bulking has come to a halt, she's fading. Nonetheless, I discovered some purple leaf edges on one of the buds in particular, I wonder if this might be related to nutrition or temperature. Day 67: 2L (pH6.6) + 5ml/l home-made fertiliser. I noticed I accidentally had turned off the timer on the LED, as well as left it on 20% power the entire night. I was expecting to have to disturb her lights off period to look at her, but there she was just chilling in low light conditions. Also, she seems to have no problems running on the very diluted home-made fertiliser so I'm repeating the previous feed - this time being a bit more precise on the dosage: 5ml/l. As I stated, this is more of a fertiliser for the soil microbes than herself.

Planned is doing very well. Bud seemed to be much smaller since pollinated. Probably 2 weeks to go for the seeds. Just picked one today. Still pretty green

Here we go! All three Tropicana Cookies are progressing through flower with the #3 still struggling. The #1 and #2 plants are both doing well, and are definitely two different phenotypes. The #1 plant is taller, bushier, with leaves that have long thin 'sativa' like fingers. While the #2 pheno is shorter, flowered faster, and has leaves that have more of a 'indica' structure to them. 12/15- I am continuing to drain/clean/refill the reservoir every 5 days and will be doing that first thing tomorrow after their last feed of the cycle. The #3 plant seems to be getting some better color in her lower sections, but still looks like crap up top. The #1 and #2 plants continue to impress me with their vigor and development. 12/17- Yesterday, I drained/cleaned/refilled the AirCube reservoir with 80L of well water, and then added the usual combination of Plagron nutrients ( Cocos 'A' & 'B', Green Sensation and Royal Rush) giving a total solution strength of 950ppm which I then ph'd to 5.6 @ 68℉. 12/19- Week 6 of flower's history and we're only 2-3 more weeks away from the finish for these lovely ladies from FastBuds! 💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Hallo und herzlich willkommen in Veg. Woche 3 Endlich kam ordentlich Sonne und sie hat ein tolles Format. Wie es scheint haben wir uns gut um die Wurzeln gekümmert, im Moment konzentriert sie sich sehr schön auf Höhe, Kraft und Vitalität. Der jetzt noch (Stengel) bald Stamm, wird Stabiler und kommt in leichte Struktur. Blattmasse nimmt auch deutlich zu! Sie sieht fabelhaft aus und ich denke, ihr geht es auch super! Auch die ersten Triebe in den nodien wachsen. Insgesamt momentan eine top Geschwindigkeit! Nebst sehr neugierige Kater (2) hat sich zusätzlich herausgestellt, dass ein Hornissennest sich 2 m entfernt im Dachstuhl befindet. Zunehmender wird es sehr ungemütlich und ich denke, ich werde sie runter in den Garten verbringen müssen. Auch da im Außenbereich sind noch mehr Katzen, daher werde ich am kommenden Dienstag irgendeine Art Schutz für die süßen fertigen. Zur Nahrung: Gegossen wird seit 3 Tagen jeden Tag 1 Liter. Aktuell fahren sie ganz gut mit 2 Tage angepasstem PH- Wasser und einen Tag 80% vom Düngerschema an Makro u. Mikronährstoffe. Stickstoff befindet sich noch ausreichend bis ca. Mitte nächster Woche im Medium. Trinken tun sie wirklich gut, Gestern wo es so heiß war, hab ich am Nachmittag noch etwas nachgießen müssen. War aber die selbige Menge wie Morgens ergo 2 mal 500 ml. Ich hatte mich auch dazu entschlossen, einmal Super Microbes am Mittwoch statt erst Sonntag zu geben. Ich werde jetzt sehr genau darauf achten, wie sich die schöne verhält. Aber mir macht es schon den Eindruck, das sie sehr hungrig sein werden! Somit freue ich mich sehr auf die kommende Woche! Die Pflanze hat sich in den letzten 10 Tagen ordentlich um 21cm gestreckt. Ich denke jetzt hat sie mit 45cm ihre Endhöhe erreicht. Habe mich aber bewusst vor dem Kauf der Samen für eine kleine kompakte Pflanze entschieden die nicht so viel Platz im Fensterbrett einnimmt. Die Buds entwickeln sich immer mehr. Morgen wird das erste mal mit Alga Bloom gegossen.
