8/14/2024 Topped plant A due to the node spacing and side branching. Hopefully, this will cause this pheno to bush out a bit more. Intentionally FIMed plant B due to the short internodal spacing and difficulties getting a clean cut for a topping. This plant is already quite bushy and condensed - hoping that it will respond nicely to FIM. Water was not changed over entirely, only added one fresh gallon of nutrient water with additional nutrients added to step up entire system to close to 575-600ppm. Both plants are looking great, root zone needs some improvement with water temperatures. I have ordered a larger water cooler and hope that will help reduce the water temperature inside the tent. Although water temps are a bit high in the buckets, the roots are flourishing and are pearly white! 8/16/2024 Noticed Plant A is showing signs of potassium issues. Added one fresh gallon of non-nutrified water as I was unable to complete a water change. 8/17/2024 Pumped out 5 gallons of nutrient water and refreshed with 5 new gallons. Both plants look to be responding well to the water change. The resulting PPM was 650 after allowing time for the system to reach equilibrium. Extra insulation on the buckets is helping to maintain lower water temperatures throughout the day with lights on in the tent. The environment is pretty well dialed in at an average 1.2-1.6 VPD. 8/19/2024 Replaced water cooler with one that is twice the size and rated for 15-gallon systems. Running reservoir temp target at 18.5 C. Conducted some minor LST on the bushy plant (Plant B) to get the middle opened up a bit more. Did some leaf tucking on plant A to get the lower branches some more direct light. 8/20/2024 Both plants are looking phenomenal. There is a very slight cannabis smell in the tent at all times.

Trying to dial their veg in. Nutes may be too old or too high. Changed with 4ml CaMg per gallon of RO water. The rest is MaxiGrow. Ever since adding rockwool to the grow, I have struggled. I don't have the dry back timed right yet. I moved my fan to dry the top of the pot surface instead of in the root zone or at the canopy height. After about 10 days I dumped out the rockwool and have replaced with hydroton. My initial though on using rockwool was to give the roots more space during late life stages. My experience has been with hydroton and I notice that the roots eventually get bound because the hydroton is a durable material and will not crush or compact. Rockwool on the other hand will compress when squeezed so I was hoping that in the late life stages the roots would compress the rockwool and make more room in the pots. The issue was dryback. If I used chunks instead of croutons, this may help but the other reason I used them was because I had them here already. If anyone is trying to slow their dryback down, they should consider adding 10% volume of croutons to hold moisture in the medium a bit longer. Notice anything different? They are starting to adapt to their new media. Hopefully by next week I can get them to perk up. One plant has looked better than the other three. I have no idea what these plants need to “perk up”. Possibly a different grower. If a grape terpine wasn’t in the end results I would have culled these long ago. Hopefully they perk up when we get to flower. 3 look ,,,, meh, the fourth is descent. Trimmed all four back down to 12” tall. Flower next week.

She took 5 days to germinate!! Day 1 - Mon 8th March She has sprouted but still has a helmet. Will give a few more days to see if she breaks free herself if not I’ll give her some help!! 🍁🍁 Very happy to have her sprout though I was getting worried!! Day 2 - Tue 9th March She’s managed to break free from her casing with a little help from me. Gave her a little more water and her leaves are starting to open. Day 3 - Wed 10th March Looking this morning she is growing but she has white on one leaf. She’s also wrapped her self in a clear substance not too sure what that could be? Any thoughts? Tried to get pictures best I could. Happy growing! Day 4 - Thursday 11th March (Her nick name is Nemo) so from the pictures you’ll see she’s got an underdeveloped leaf but aside from this she is growing well. 6/5 Starting week 5 The girls are drinking more quickly. So today I watered and fed using TPS1 Circle has just passed Gaia in height. From Friday 6/2 she grew 6 inches from 22 to 28 she got 3 liters Gaia grew from 24 to 26" she got 4 liters 6/7 Circe is growing like a weed (heehee) and quickly passed Gaia. Circe is 31" Gaia 27". Gaia mother is the stereo type mom large hips and flowing tresses while Circe is the willow-of-the-wisp free spirit so true for a healer. Today I flushed all the plants with 1 gallon of filtered water to remove any buildup of nutrients. Hopefully, since I've cut way back on fertilizer, they are getting what they need. The other two Cream Caramel and Gelato 41 are short and remain on the crates to keep them within 30 inches from the light. At 6/9 they are 11 inches. 6/9 water and feeding day. Circe and Gaia both drink 4 liters of water each feeding. Circe grew 3 more inches She is now 34.5. Gaia has stopped growing at 27.5 inches, Gelato 41 is 12 inches (lst) and Cream Caramel 13. These are AFRO girls. Short, Squat and Very bushy. So many leaves, I may have to trim out some large fans to give light to the bud sites. I put mirrors under their canopies to increase light penetration. My mom and dad met and married in post WWII Japan and spent several years there. Mom taught the children of the officers and diplomats but she was also a life-long learner. Her interest were cultural, religious spiritual, music and art. My education was fundamental reading, writing, arithmetic. science and art until I went to college. My Dad had the greatest influence on my interests in science and math. In college I studied psychology & biology and wanted to be a doctor. While I was very smart, I really didn't want to continue 12 more years of school for a medical degree. So I left for a week and had a trusted friend take over watering duties. A few things of note: I was concerned over overheating the grow so I turned the power down to 75% and ran the light up another 6 inches. This had the unfortunate effect of less airflow and cooler temps so I got powdery mildew that I would be fighting for the remainder of the grow. That aside, the plants looked way more mature when I returned home, with nice trichome development and density.

Gave them nutrients for half of the week and started to flush. Want to have a good flush on them as my last plants were a bit harsh in taste. Super excited even tho I see now so deficencies but well... im flushing so i guess its normal. Let me know if not 🙏🏽🖖🏽

UPDATE - Saturday 13th March This week has been ok but I need to take it easy on the nutes! Especially with the soil one. Ooohhhhh 😵why did I use soil. It’s really annoying because it’s at weedy little seedling stage and iv obviously over fed it. I added some worm castings to the one on the right in the hempy bucket though , along with ecothrive biosys They should break down fairly quickly given how packed with microbes and micorhyzae to buffer the ph of my hempy buckets to where I need them to be. I don’t even bother with my ph pen now. I’m glad I didn’t spend £69 on one but it would be good to get a decent one at some point. It’s not top of the list though. Grow space number three is looming and this time I actually have the equipment. Only problem is I don’t want to use my old converted wardrobe. It’s too small and pretty pointless. If I’m going to have a tent in my studio flat space where I have to hear the fans or rather the varispeeds hum. I’m very tempted to take the big grow tent out of that room and then paint the walls bright white and just vent the room. Instead of the tent. The ductings already there. Then I could move the bigger tent somewhere else in the flat. The thing is - I started growing to provide me with my medicine,however, I’m in prohibition-land. So far I haven’t had the space to be able to get a monster harvest. My last one was the best so far I think it was 2.5oz between three plants. I have decided to turn it into an auto tent (shout out to fast buds for sponsoring me) They are just so easy. At first I was worried because i thought the lights were on longer but they finish so god dam quick from seed to smoking. I’m f surly sure curing autos must take longer than growing them. That fastberry is coming along nice but It’s such a non bushy plant. Like lanky but in a good way. A lanky green stem with these random bright purple buds on the tops. This is the first grow I’m going to use a proper magnification device when I need to check trichomes. I think iv been harvesting too early. Well actually just last time because I was scared the police were coming. LOONG story. Anyway, I’m looking forward to being able to see those thrich’s get cloudier and cloudier. Will make some nice source photographs for my art also. I nabbed these awesome plant holder uppers that just poke into the soil in the pot and they are round and have sections to put cola’s through. They look really perfect for auto’s final bushy look once trained.

Day 21: . Wow these girls can grow fast. Having spent decades growing photoperiod strains and with only 1 Autoflower grow previously , I am astounded by the rate at which they grow daily. Watching the fan leaves gain so much size each day and the stems thickening alongside them shows their ability to rapidly cycle through their stages. The Gorilla girls are doing so well and even the mutant#4 is starting to settlenin and gain a nice colour to her. I do think the up pot has affected her height and development initially but hope she will catch up now. I have started to train the #2 GG with a 90° bend to her 5th node. I plan to keep them bent over like this until the lower nodes catch up and begin to develop as mains too. This is to avoid any topping at all as I want to see if this is a viable option with my room size. I used the forefinger and thumb method to gently crush the stem by rolling with slight pressure until I felt it soften enough to apply the bend but not too damaged to slow the growth to any note. Seeing how so many autos have a huge main stem that seems to form the upper part of the good yields from them , I thought I could keep it around but held down to still break the apical dominance. fingers crossed. The Sweet cheese is getting herself set for a burst of growth too I think. she is a few days behind the others but looks happy enough. I am hoping to get to week 5 before they hit their flowering run to gain enough size to fill my space used and seeing their rapid speed , they just might do that. So this week I used MediOne 4-3-3 to try to slow the Nitrogen deficiency I feel like I was seeing early on. i also added a little calmag. They didn't like it too much, now i have a different problem...also some of the leaves started clawing possibly from the drench when i added the top dress. I tried to dry her back a little until I saw the first signs of her drooping and then I added a little water to the autopot

The buds of the Lemon Og Candy have some awesome orange hairs and the smell is really starting to spread. Now I know why it has candy in the name. Further decreasing humidity. Good that its cold and dry outside. Also stopped watering for the last 6 days to further decrease humidity. Then I gave 15L into the big pot and 3L into the small one.

she grows healthy ... the temperature has dropped ... and I do not have insects ... the substrate was made by me ... almost most of the day is cloudy ... and that's why the little performance outdoor ...

March 18 Sherbet has the tent to themselves now. I've flipped to a 12/12 flowering light schedule for Sherbet. You're supposed to imagine what the current plant looks like doubled in size, and flip to flowering according to what you think your tent could handle. The other tent is larger than this one, but it's in a much colder room, so having 12 hours without the heat from the lights could have been harsh for the plant. This room can hover around 50-60F on cold nights, so Sherbet will just stay in this tent to grow. Temps have lowered 5+ degrees by removing the other plant and it's light.
