Deliciously grow, without problems - super fine and satisfactory result. Unfortunately I forgot to weigh it wet, but I will update with the dry weight as soon as it is dry - but a good bet is that it has been about 200+ grams wet and there will probably be about 50 grams dry. So, with these interesting times and what is becoming a fast evolving global catastrophe. I, myself, along with the rest of you ( I hope ) can take some solace in looking after our gardens, to have some peace away from the news, to give our ladies the best care we are able to provide 🌱 If you ever needed any vindication or validation as to why growing your own is best. More than half the world currently in lockdown, and with MJ in short supply, our actions speak for themselves! Anyway, back to this diary. I done a lot of work on the room, invested a lot and tried to make everything as automated as possible. Everything runs on smart plugs, the hydroponic system is DIY and is RDWC which is cooled with a Hailea 150a. 6 plants is what I am going for this time, with a shorter veg length compared to the last grow. I prefer to wait until they show their sex, but if they don’t by week 5, I plan on flipping anyway all being well. I am using 730nm LED’s that come on 15 mins before lights on, turn off during lights on, and then they come back on when lights go out, and stay on for 15 mins. This should enable me to run 13/11 during flower with little risk. I am also going to add a UVB fixture to my custom rig which will only be used during the final 2 weeks of flower. I have 3 Alibaba lights attached to a custom rig, they really are awesome lights. I tested the room out with an Apogee SQ-520 par meter (PAR map in pics). I have dimmed them down, so PAR is around 500 across the whole canopy, this will be increased to 1000 once they’re flipped. I vent from my house, to the room and then outside, this increases the CO2 in the room, which I think helped the yields on the last grow, generally CO2 hovers between 470 and 700 PPM. My ladies look a little sick, but tbh, I struggle starting out in Rockwool, and things usually correct themselves within a couple weeks. With the quarantine I have struggled to pick up a humidifier that is capable of maintaining that room, so it has been all over the place since the start. I have opted to go with Royal Gorilla this cycle, let’s see if it’s as potent as RQS says that it is! Good luck all and take care...

I harvested this plant on the same week that I pulled down the 2 B Blunt, so there was no more progress in the garden. Was thinking that it was going to take a bit longer to cut down than it did (I wet trim). Feel free to let me know why that is not the proper way to trim... I have my reasons and it has been working for a while.

Still battling the heat and humidity

Going well. Think I may flip in the next week. Don't want the plants to become too unmanageable for my first crop. Really enjoying the learning process. Thinking a t-break starting soon would make it easier to enjoy the harvest. Looking at getting some bubble hash processing equipment and a rosin press, my prefered consumption method from right at home. At this size what would an experienced grower expect in terms of yield? The strains seem hearty. So this was a clone I took from the mother plant that had a pigment mutation. I just found the evidence that the whole plant but one half a leaf is the mutation. I thought I was feeding her heavy. I'm she has just been eating great. Drinking her little potter bone dry in 24 hours. I am really curious to see how the bud looks when it gets totally done. Everything is going great. I just keep hst the branches to keep them out of the light. I came back after vacation, the girl is ready for cutting, the rainy weather has started, so there is a threat of rot, you can say I managed to find just a few small pits in time and removed them and threw them away, the big and stiff flowers look fantastic:) but after a long trip I was tired, so I didn't take quality photos :( no everything else, I am very satisfied with the result I got:) its smell already lets me know that it will be good:) a lot of sugar leaves from which I will make bubble hash:) I will update the weight when it dries.

This Will be wrapping up the purple Queen and blue dream grow leaves on the purple Queen are starting to really color out as So when it's at the end of its life . Just RO water ph down to 6.8 until you get a PPM of 300. I'm going for Around about 150 100.

Day 79 - Another week passes, not much to post, normal feeding, 1000 ppm 6.2 PH, normal lights, the girls are fattening up nicely...... 😎 Day 84 - some pics/vids.... pics of a Test Bud (ready for curing)......doing some experimentation..... read up about drying and curing, but i don't have a set method, so test abit..... never grown bud before..... 👍 my tent is really small, i think 50x120x160 or something... and it's tight in there, i have no other source of herb, so i'm going to start getting into the smaller one, and focus the light on the larger one..... i've been trimming and drying all during the grow.... there's really only enough room for the big one, and it's really squishy in the tent........ 😎

Grown 23cm this week! Entered flowering also!

Well it finally happened, the girls have outgrown the 4x4! Was mid week and was having a hard time keeping humidity below 65%. Thought of defoliating, but can't keep doing that weekly or it will shock them sooner than later. So I decided to move the front left plant to the 3x3 under the Photontek SQ300W, giving the girls in the 4x4 some much needed breathing room. Set about retraining the plants to maximise space in the big tent, and then flattened out the lonely girl in the 3x3. Crazy enough the 4x4 still looks full by end of week, and the one by itself is getting close to filling the 3x3! This could be a pretty big grow by the time we finish 🤞. Have the solo plant running on the older Autopot valves with 6mm hose, and already had one clogging issue. Seems really early on, in past would take 2-3 weeks so thinking maybe I didn't have the lines 100% clean to start. Either way easy fix just blow out the clog and flush the lines with a liter or so and back in business. Always remember to flush the on/off valve as well as the main valve in the tray. Otherwise raised the lights in 4x4 to their max height (5" from roof) and took all the slack out of the cables to keep them off the lights. Adjusted the ties on last day of the week, but things seem pretty set now in the big tent so will just be widening out the lone girl once she grows a bit more. I'm sure by end of week that tent will be packed as well!

Considering that Syrup is a fast-flowering autoflower (lifespan 56–65 days), we're getting close to the finish line... :) Big thanks to everyone who's been guiding me through messages and answers — and also to all the growmies who just stop by! BTW: For those chasing purple buds — just underfeed them a bit and give them a phosphorus deficiency. 😂

This clone is growing good. She is showing mutations in the leaves plus growing like she is still flowering kinda. I think my nutrition is a pinch strong. That probably is not helping much. Gonna ride it out, and see what happens.
