🌱 Semana 5 de cultivo: ¡Se notan los cambios! 🌱 Esta semana fue clave: cambiamos las plantas de carpa a una más adecuada para su tamaño, ya que ¡han crecido muchísimo! Se nota que están en plena etapa de desarrollo, no solo por su tamaño, sino también por su apetito: están pidiendo más agua que antes. Como desde el inicio hemos estado aportando fertilizantes, en estos últimos riegos decidí usar solo agua con pH controlado y una EC muy baja. Esto me permite equilibrar el sustrato y evitar una sobre-fertilización, que en esta etapa podría ser contraproducente. Todo va viento en popa, y las plantas están respondiendo muy bien. Vamos familia que ya actualizamos la cosecha de estas Candy Rain de Zamnesia, para el concurso POWER BUDS Plagron x Zamnesia CONTEST. Ya era hora de cosechar, estoy bastante contento con los resultados. Vaya flores que se han marcado repletas de tricomas, y las flores se marcan aromas dulces y afrutados. Es una variedad bastante fácil de cultivar y muy resistente, crecieron desde el principio bien vigorosas, sin problemas y al final de todo recompensó. Las condiciones ambiéntales han sido máximas en 25 y mínimas en 20 y una humedad estable en torno al 36% al final de floración y en el secado. Welcome to week 3 of veg. They’ve been growing about 1” per day lately. I’m planning to SCROG these three girls with a portable scrog screen. Supplies arrive today and I’m anxious to test this. (Note that my portable scrog screen didn’t work, so I’m using a 2x4 stretch screen). So far the self watering feeders are working well. The reservoir ph does tend to climb, so I make regular adjustments by adding RO water to the nutrient mix and using ph down. The PPM of the nutrients is climbing too, so adding RO dilutes that. As an example, it had climbed from 925 ppm to 1080 ppm overnight. I diluted it back down to 880 ppm. Saturday: installed scrog net Sunday: checked reservoir ph (6.4) and ppm (970). Added ph down. Adjusted scrog net. Discoloration in leaves appears to be worsening. Waiting for a new dehumidifier to arrive. With all of the humidity that the fiber pots put off, I’m going to need a dehumidifier in flower. Monday: ran pipes for humidifier, heater and dehumidifier through a different tent outlet. I’m ready to start dehumidifying at flower flip. Removed humidifier since I won’t need it until after the harvest (I dry in my tent ideally). Topped off reservoir water with a heavy emphasis on CalMag. Reservoirs are at a ph of 6.0 and 750ppm. Lowered ppm due to start of burnt leaf tips on one plant. Wednesday. Lowered ph in reservoir from 6.4 to 6.1 with ph down and diluted nutrients. Lowered ppm from 780 to 700. Removed growth below the SCROG net. Adjusted lighting to a DLI of 35 which proved too intense for the plants, so I backed it down to 30 DLI. Thursday: wrapped up the week by giving them a foliar spray after lights went out. Feeding 5ml/g or CalMag and 30ml/g of Seaweed Extract. Topped off reservoirs using 6ml/g of micro, 9ml/g of Bloom, Seaweed and 2ml CalMag.

Almost into the home stretch. Will start looking at trichomes this week. Really hope the buds continue fattening on both the ladies. Day 58 WC - growing strong. Don't know if we should remove any leaves or leave it as is. Thinking of waiting a few days to see how the plant develops. Day 58 BCN - it's recovered from the lack of watering and the leaves are starting to turn yellow. Think that's normal for this far into flowering. Hope we can finish without further surprises. Day 61 - fed both plants and did an additional 330ml of blackstrap molasses (5ml/l). Will start moving to flush in 10 days or so. Not sure if they're ready yet. 🤦‍♂️🏼Added short videos of both ladies.

Welcome back to my humidity hell. I just can't set the humidity down to where I want it. I did some more defoliation this week. Perhaps that will help the humidity a bit. These girls grew a bit bigger than I expected, and this may be contributing to my high humidity numbers. Other that that, these girls are stacking up nicely! They continue to have no problems and look healthy!

First feeding and topped with mushroom compost. She is starting to fill out.

Starting week 3 with good growth on all three plants but plant 3 is doing the best, she has the longest branches and I've tried them downwards. I also trimmed-off the lowest leaves and branch/future bud sights. The girls look good and I look forward to another week of progress.

Another beautiful pheno of the big jeff by Gecko seeds which is the cross of: Cookies kush X Casey Jones, the plant is showing beautiful indica hybrid characteristics, it's gonna be a wonder plant for sure! Let's keep on working!! 💛💚❤️👨‍🌾

Stretch is done and flowers are piling on now! I treated with lost coast as a preventative. I kept the feed the same but it will be altered end of grow week. Canopy is getting hella full can't wait to watch these colas stack on. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

week 9 was a good week I watch my pollen sacks grow into beautiful pods cant wait to use it plant doing pretty good health and strong

Por lejos este ha sido mi mejor cultivo hasta ahora, han sido los cogollos más grandes, densos y llenos de tricomas que he cultivado, comparado con el cultivo anterior en el que usé el mismo tipo de planta, está vez fue muy superior. Los motivos de la mejora pueden ser varios, incluidos más luz, ya que en el cultivo anterior solo tuve 480w, ahora fueron 720w, también usé tutores y palitos de madera para crear una estructura firme en algunas plantas, y fueron estás mismas las que tuvieron los cogollos más grandes, así que lo usaré en todas las plantas del siguiente cultivo. Además el tiempo de cultivo se redujo de 4 meses a 3 meses y medio, aprox. Ahora solo queda esperar unas 2 semanas para el secado y ver cuánto fue la cosecha total en gramos secos, la anterior fue de 635 gramos secos, está yo creo que por lo menos rondará los 700 gramos secos, incluso puede que me sorprenda y sea mucho más.
