There’s no amber trichomes on Mama Mia and I’m thinking of growing a little longer than the breeder suggests. Northern Lights trichomes are starting to amber and I may harvest earlier than suggested. King Kong trichomes are milky clear. I switched up which light is on which plant. Next grow I’m definitely replacing my two weaker lights with stronger lights and using the weak lights as side lighting. Light power is one of the big lessons from this grow. The bud size looks it’s age, but is much heavier than appearance. I think the kelp helped the buds get denser. The King Kong flowers are all much heavier than the branches can support. Next grow I’ll be more proactive with netting support.

End of day 61 flower. Both girls have been sitting in the dark since Yesterday @8pm. Will be taking them down on Thursday afternoon. Split the stem on both and flushed with florakleen for 3 days and now only on RO water. Adding a few ice cubes to the solution 2 or 3 times per day to keep the temp down. The last 12 hours remaining I will take all the water out of both buckets to let them know that the end is near and hopefully get some more frost from that. It’s been over 120 days since these two got seeded together and it’s been one hell of a journey. I got a bunch of clones off them and will have more grows on those coming up soon. I’ve learn a lot about what these girls like and hope to get a better yield with the clones. Next update will be the harvest. Take care and thanks for following along. 🤗

The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures stay above the mid 40's℉, at which point she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes, and then let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 8/13- Week Two of flower is here for the FastBuds Wedding Cheesecake FF, and I must say how thoroughly impressed I am so far with this strain! It has withstood attacks by insects (leaf hoppers and Japanese Beatles), intense heat and humidity (110℉ heat indexes with 90+% RH) and multiple splits of two of her main branches at the trunk, and yet has grown into the 'Beast from the East' reaching over EIGHT feet in height and spreading her branches out to an enormous SIX foot diameter! Our weather has cooled off after last weeks tropical system passed and it's nice to have a much needed break from the heat and humidity! 8/15- I am continuing to water daily with 5-8 gallons of well water from the garden hose. Today, I top dressed the Wedding Cheesecake FF with 3 cups of Gaia Green 2-8-4 Power Bloom which I watered in with well water from the hose. I then applied 1/2 gallon of a nutrient mix I made up in 2 1/2g of well water consisting of: 1/4 cup Neptune's Harvest Seaweed(kelp) plant food and 2 1/2 tsp. of Plantonics Amino Bliss. While I was under the canopy I also removed a bunch of scraggly small, thin branches that were anywhere from 12" to 20" long and would never had amounted to anything worthwhile. 8/17- We had a couple of passing light rain showers today which didn't provide a lot of rain so I went ahead and watered the Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower with approximately 5g of well water just to make sure that she didn't get thirsty. 8/19- Thunderstorms yesterday and today have taken care of my watering duties and all I really had to do today is to remove some yellowed and dead leaves throughout the canopy. 💫The week went great. After the first stress, growth seemed to slow down, but it worked out, the plant began to expand. I water it every 3 days. I continue to bend the stem along the axis of the pot. I bend the branch that will pass through the fastest. 💚I started giving supplements late. Only on the 33rd day I gave him fish and everything else. 🍀 Week showed good growth, but it could have been better, let's see what happens with the additives. I continue to twist the stem in a circle (I don't know where to twist it). And I also cut off the leaves a little bit, about once a week, as they block the light (a friend says not to overdo it with defoliation, let's see what happens).🍀

I am now flushing her with plain Brita filtered water PH'd with lime juice to lower her PH. I initially first flushed her with 42L of water and now I am flushing her once a day for 8 days and then I will put her in for darkness for 3 days and then I will harvest her and dry her for 9 days and then cure her for 28-48 days.

Blue Cheese F1 automatic Week 6 2/9-15 The Cheese gals are in full flower, the buds are puffing out and stacking. I even see some lower buds connecting to the upper buds and some pistils are turning brown. There is some smell when I open the tent. The F1 genetics are reflected in that these 2 plants are almost identical. I don’t see much difference in their growth so far using the different mediums. Soil and soil/coco blend. Maybe harvest will show a difference in yield from each one. Time will tell. On 2/13 I did major defoliation on my Cheese gals. I removed all large fan leaves and any leaves shading bud sites. Initially, I thought this would be my last defoliation, however I have heard that 1) they continue to grow new leaves until day 20 of flower and 2) there must be enough foliage on the plant to photosynthesize energy. Well, I hope I left enough leaves for energy to keep bulking up the buds. Stretching has slowed down. Both girls grew only an inch and now 17 inches. This is only the end of flower week 2. Controller is set to flower. I add 2 gallons of water to the T700 humidifier daily to keep the VPD in line. 2/9 & 11 4 gal fed 2 liter each nutrients added at ½ of recommended amount. Making 4 gallons since I have 2 pots of carrots and a Dill in the back.
