Guava Runtz – Week 11 (Fast Buds Outdoor 2026) ☀️ Guava Runtz is almost finished. Towards the end she developed some really intense red and purple leaves. She will be harvested soon. She smells amazing and the scent is very strong. Looking forward to the final result.

It’s really difficult trying to figure out the watering at this point. Besides that and the lighting everything else seems to be easier to control due to the technology. The human nature aspect and learning about my medicine and how the plants start to develop more growth and require different needs and attention in each stage is fascinating. It’s my first time and trying to mash up all the information I read online. Well anyways to everyone reading and doing their thing, thanks for all the support and here’s my part 2… Currently feeding distilled water every time I feel my fingers in the dirt are dry about 4” down. I’m scared to water till run off at this point as the roots are still young. I Fed 1/2 cup great white on 12/8 12/11 morning, showed first sign of vegetational stage(7sets of true leaves). 12/11 pm fed nutes(called advance and the guy was great very informative and helpful. Said for autoflowers to give half the dosage that is printed because those measurements are for photo’s) 2mil sense grow ph perfect a 2mil sense grow ph perfect b 4mil voodoo juice 4mil b-52 Mix all these into 1 gallon distilled in order from top to bottom. Then I fed 1/2 cup of that mix to each plant. Used cheap Amazon test kit 270ppm/ water temp 67 / water ph 5.75 12/12 am low stress training I forgot to mention that I increased the dimming from 4-6 on my light which gives the plants 420par ;) and I think 17000lux gotta learn how to use yet another cheap Amazon tool. Hey it works to give a general idea and as long as the numbers are consistent then why not use it as a reference.

June 15: lots of rain ended this morning. 64 mm or 2.5 inches over 48 hours. No watering need for a while. She looks pretty good and I’m currently waiting for the two stems to grow a bit more. A day or two before another round of topping to make the 8 (or 16?) cola manifold. June 18: still more rain. Wow, really pouring at the moment. About 80 mm in last few days and heavy rain forecast for all day today. Oh well. Plants are up against house to minimize soaking. Took two fan leaves that were growing back across the main stem to allow more light in. So far so good. June 20: second round of topping to get to 8 colas and tied down to have all growth tips at same elevation. Waited until fourth node was forming and then topped to third node and removed growth tips at the second node. Sounds a bit hard but totally easy once you try. 👍called mainlining on Growdiaries but should be called manifolding. Still quite cool and rainy which is great for the forest fires, but a bit cool for cannabis. Oh well. June 21: Happy Solstice. Our monsoon season seems to be done and next two weeks look like great cannabis weather - sunny with low to mid 20s C.

15.06.25. Day 30. Plants are looking healthy. Lots of growth in past week. She is showing preflower so I switched to flowering nutrients. First reservoir change out since I placed them into buckets. One plant topped herself because of rapid growth, I did not pull back training wire on main node and so the branch snapped where it was tied down. She is entering stretch now so I took of training wire on all plants. 18.06.25. Day 33! Defoliation, lilipop.

Another good week but I am surprised she is not entering the flowering stage yet. Beautiful color and shape! Excellent canopy growth as I finally have trimmed the lower nodes off a plant. Very light defoilation of some fan leaves as well.

***Note that I started to count the days when I placed the seeds between paper towels. The seeds were planted 3 days later and sprouted from the ground 2 days after being planted. D80 (13/05/2021): I'm looking at the trichomes every other days. Glue Gelato is starting to show amber on top buds. No amber for Banana Kush and Gelato. This time I will chop them all at the same time so the one I will rely on is the Glue Gelato. As soon as she is ready, I will harvest them all. Banana Kush and Gelato would probably need more, but in term of logistic, I need to harvest all my plants at the same time. D83 (16/05/2021): Not ready yet. I'm checking trichomes closely! 😬 - Light: the lights are at 100% and at 12 inch form the plants. - Temperature: during the day: 24-25C ; during the night: 20C. - Humidity: the humidity is maintain around 46-48% all the time. - Air circulation: There is an oscillating fan on the ground, one fixed fan pointing on top of the canopy and one fixed fan to help cool the lights. - Water: I gave water every other day or when the ground feel dry or the pots feels light. - ***IPM: I never mention it but I'm using nematodes pouch as an integrated pest management. I had trouble with pest in my first grow and I learned from it. That's the only thing I do for pest and of course watching closely and regularly at my plants 😊

I put the plants into an NFT system couple weeks ago. I could have waited a bit longer for the plants to develop a stronger root system before placing the rockwool cubes into NFT but I was being impatient because of the slow start and wanted to get the plants under proper light. Now two weeks later they are growing well with good root development. I switched the lights to flowering cycle about a week ago so they should start stretching soon. No preflowers yet.

I just love everything about this outdoor grow. Posted a video, starting week 6 of flower. We’ve had some weather here but holding off PM well. I put an 8x12 awning over them for the rough storms. It fills the yard with that classic pot smell. Can’t wait to harvest and pack this. I’ve never had Jack Herer before so my grow will be my first experience with a multi cannabis cup winner.

She was the second to pop up (and purple punch earlier that day) I won’t be topping any autos this run! I will be only low stress training until scrog and then I’ll high stress train if necessary! I’ve given the first feed today of biobizz (doing fastbuds organic the other 3 synthetic) my aim is to keep the veg period vigorous! As a great veg equals great bloom! All other

Week 4 (April 19th-25th) This week the plant had 4 fan leaves coming out from the main stem. The blade count went up by 2 (from 3 blades to 5). The plant was very healthy and strong.

Hi Growers. These little plants have been cruising along just fine. The whole week they have just been sprayed with ph RO water with a touch of cal pow. Yesterday I noticed they were a bit lighter in color and using peat based medium with zero nutrients I decided to feed according to the FastBuds suggested 1/8 strength. It still ended up being around 225 ppm. I also raised the light 3” as I noticed the serrated leaf edge starting to point straight up. That SF4000 is a beast against tiny plants even at 30%. I’ve got the environment at approx 77 & 60% with a oscillating fan and humidifier running. I finally was able to remove that shell helmet off the middle plant. Once I did she immediately took off. I just sprayed and saturated the membrane and ultra gently manipulated it til one cotyledon popped out and left it alone. The hull fell off the other side by itself. All in all they’re looking happy and are doing what they should be. 🤞👍🏻🌱 Happy Growing 🌱

Acapulco Gold has been forming some promising looking buds 👌 I have had to increase waterings this week as the plant is becoming increasingly thirsty. The branches are very heavy for the plant now, and they're beginning to buckle under the weight, so I might have to stake the plant. Because it's got so big now. I turn the plant round each day to evenly distribute light. It's become difficult due to the bendyness of the plant now, so I have to be very careful now whenever I move it. The plant has done really well this week, actually, and hopefully, we can be done in the next few weeks, which would be great. This has been the fastest and biggest plant I have grown yet. I'm very impressed. I have increased the waterings and am trying to give correct nutrients. However, I am also using Ecothrive dry amendments as always, and because of this, I don't know how many nutrients to add. The plant is so big now, I don't think I am feeding enough. If you have any ideas or suggestions, I'd appreciate it. Leave it in the comments 😁 I am having trouble assessing the nutrient requirements as the plant has always been a light green, but it is really beginning to go yellow. Here is what I did this week. 12.9.25 I top dressed the plant with Ecothrive dry amendments. The following amounts were used for this 8 Gallon pot; 💚1 TBSP Ecothrive Life Cycle 💚1 TBSP Ecothrive Bloom 💚 2 TBSP Diatomaceous Earth Here is what I did this week. 12.9.25: I watered the top dress in, with 6.5L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.0 with; 💜 2 TSP Sea K 💜 2 TSP Biosys 💜 8ml Trace PH: 6.0 PPM: 597 13.9.25: I watered with 2L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 5.9 with; 💜 .5 TSP Bud Explosion PH: 5.9 PPM: 678 15.9.25: I watered with 6.5L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.1 with; 💜 1 TSP Bud Explosion 💜 1 TSP Sea K 💜 8ml Trace 💜 1 TSP Biosys PH: 6.1 PPM: 685 16.9.25: I watered with 4L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4 With; 💜 7ml Trace 💜 2 TSP Sea K PH: 6.4 PPM: 552 The fungus gnats have really increased since I did a watering of the whole tent. I have some more sticky traps set out, and I will not water for several days. Once it has dried the top soil, I will add some more Diatomaceous Earth to the top 5cm. Day 37 Great growing this orange sherbert by @fastbud420. This week is starting to really get into flowering, i think will stretch à lot. At least i hope. Need à lot of feeding. Trying to get as much light is possible to flower but i defoliate being really carefull. Day 42, last two days stretching became really fast, as results i think that needs a lot more nutrients i’ll increase bio grow from 1(as schedule) to 3 ml/lt, and i’ll stop Top max as i started big bud and i don’t want too many salts to accumulate into the soil. Just repotted these clones ... They have amazing roots... Looking very healthy

Week 16 Everybody is on Flower! End of August: daylight 13h20: 7h20/20h40. Day temperature max: 26°C - Night temperature : 17°C Sunny weather - 2/3 rainy days in 2 weeks Enriched the soil with seaweed powder and bat guano. Continue to add flowering nutrients: Grower Master I added some Calmag one time. Watering 2L/plant every 3 days (2 days would be better) With humidity growing and the relatives hot temperatures: the predators are attacking plants. Everything appears so fast: Aphids, caterpillars, leaf miner flies. Did a general defoliation before spray my mixture Garlic + laurel (12cl Garlic juice + 5cl laurel infusion + 1L distilled water: beware PH!!). I sprinkled diatomaceous earth on top of soil to protect and minimize the infestation. Brake Pad Breath: still deep green and bushy. Flowering since 4 weeks. The most advanced, pretty good flowers with long pistils are growing. Spared until now: the plant is victim of Aphids, miner leaf flies and caterpillars in a « reasonable way »….try to eradicate the problem without shocking the plant at this stage. Flash Back#2: around 2 weeks flowering, stretched a few centimeters more, well developed plants with lot of blooming sites. Relatively spared by pests, just some aphids. GMO X Zombie Kush: some difficulties to recover….just engaged the flowering process, not to bad if she resist to the second pest’s wave. Royal Moby: uncertain destiny….recovering good, sativa style: 155cm, just starting the flowering stage…super late! Harvested a pretty auto flower: White Russian by Serious Seeds. Well developed plant, a little bit long to be ready but resinous and meaty buds.

It’s hard sometimes, resisting the urge to feed her with her waterings. But I’m by now it’s gotten much easier. I wasn’t able to do the entire grow with plain water, and maybe that was better. I can’t help but wonder if the small buds is from a lack of food or if it’s just genetics. I can’t necessarily say lack of food if I study all her leaf tips. After noticing very minimal, yet noticeable, signs of tip burn, I feel confident saying she is getting lots of food. Wether or not it was the right ratio of food is another question. Maybe there wasn’t enough phosphates? Just because there isn’t a deficiency, doesn’t mean the plant couldn’t have been able to utilized more. I might come to find these tiny super dense buds.
