Well it turns out those little white spots were a leading sign of spider mites. I loaned my loupe to my buddy and don't like trying to use my hand microscope directly on a plant so I did some minor surgery for inspection... and there's Nothing creepier than seeing little mites scurrying around on your babies. Pisses you off too. 😡 So we made a trip to the local hydro store and my friends there recommended Plant Therapy. https://www.lostcoastplanttherapy.com/ This stuff looks Way safer than some of the alternative products. In fact, it turns out Azamax from General Hydroponics (which this same local hydro store had sold me a year or so back) can no longer legally be sold so they removed the product. Exactly why Azamax is a problem he didn't say... but it is referenced heavily in a positive way in what is now my growers reference Bible which I've provided a picture of here somewhere. "Marijuana Horticulture Fundamentals" is so far beyond anything I had before it's humorous. I grew a couple 4 plant crops in my backyard about a decade ago and all I had was stuff written in the 1960s and 70s. I look back on those now and laugh - hippy sh*t. Now the serious children have taken over, and around here it's legal now. So screw you Mr. Sessions.

Flowers coming along well, with frost now developing. Nutrient strength increased now they're gonna be eating a lot more. Remo grow reduced slightly now they're slowing their growth, but Bloom and AstroFlower have been increased to favour PK for flower development. Day 28 will be the last day feeding Growth Tech Liquid Silicone as it takes the longest to completely flush out of the plant. I never feed silicone later than this in flower otherwise you risk hard, black ash with a horrible burn in the end.. More leaves have been stripped here and there to slow growth and to allow the light to penetrate deeper, uncovering flower sites. Leaf stripping is a great technique to stunt the growth of selected branches, allowing the others around to catch up and meet the top of the canopy more evenly 🦊

This week has been all about shaping the plant. I’ve learned from last that the colas weren’t the same height, because I let the plant do it’s things with just a bit of training. Now I know what to look for so I’m trying my hardest. I top dressed this week with crab meal, Gaia green all purpose 4-4-4, insect frass, kelp meal, bone meal, azomite, and covered it with a healthy serving of worm castings (about an inch to 2 inches). All of which was sprinkled on all the chopped and dropped leaves/branches. I believe in adding biomass to soil, especially for an indoor growing who is money conscious. Doing that can help save me money going back to the store for more soil.

hey guys, Into week12 and plants are recovering nicely from the fungus gnat issue from week 10-11. Its time to add another round of organic amendments, this time in a 70/30 ratio 9f 284 to 444. Increasing the P since we are now clearly into flpwer and the ladies will love it! I also found that the amendments needs a few waterings before it really gets in to the system. Have to plan ahead for that to ensure your plants are not starving for npk. Added d.e. again and another pack of yellow fly traps up. As for watering, each plant gets 9L ea every 2-4 days since temps are going crazy jn the gta. Few days at 35+ deg c to 14 lows. As always, have a good one and see you on the next update!

The Ztrawberriez Auto is very resistant has a great sweet strawberry smell throughout the garden. As you can easily see from my grow question, I was initially afraid for the plants due to the high temperature in the greenhouse (as soon as the sun shone ~40 degrees). It turned out that the plant seemed to like it and rewarded me with beautiful buds with purple tips. Growdiaries won't let me delete the question otherwise this would have happened long ago... She finished very quickly and took just 70 days from seed to harvest. All this confirms that fastbuds is the right address for autoflowers. I'm already looking forward to the next run. Going great on these last 2 girls. Got some wind burn on the one when my oscillation decided to stick on my fan for awhile before I noticed what was going on. No biggy, live and learn. Lol still got a lot of giant buds here. There starting to look ready soon. one still needs some time but the smaller one was cut and is drying with her sister. Only one to go, she still needs a few more days and I have left it in dark for a few days to see if there will be any noticeable difference. Cheers 💨

Bud sites are forming across the canopy and stacking is beginning nicely. Trichomes are already visible on a couple of the plants, which is a great early indicator of strong resin production. Aroma is developing into a sweet, skunky, earthy profile. Overall plant health looks excellent with strong color and structure. There is very minor tip burn visible on some leaves, which may be the result of allowing the coco to dry back slightly too much between feedings.
