This week has been all about shaping the plant. I’ve learned from last that the colas weren’t the same height, because I let the plant do it’s things with just a bit of training. Now I know what to look for so I’m trying my hardest. I top dressed this week with crab meal, Gaia green all purpose 4-4-4, insect frass, kelp meal, bone meal, azomite, and covered it with a healthy serving of worm castings (about an inch to 2 inches). All of which was sprinkled on all the chopped and dropped leaves/branches. I believe in adding biomass to soil, especially for an indoor growing who is money conscious. Doing that can help save me money going back to the store for more soil.

Hey everyone its the final week for this beauty.what a pleasure to grow she was and i will grow this strain again for sure. She drinks a whole lot less then before and the trychomes are turning amber and the rest are milky so she will be cut some where on the end of this week. Hey guys! Another another update from my babies! (rather late, but better late than never!) 😬 This week was special. I wanted to make a better timelapse compared to what I did in my previous grow... but I didn't know what my DSLR could only charge thru the battery slot or with some special equipment. Shame on me! So even when I had limited resources I still managed to do something... so I hope you'll all enjoy it! 🙏 Besides of that, at the start of the week I changed 3 babies from their cups to their final containers and I think I did it properly! They didn't stress! Even when I might have done it a little late (if you see in the very first photos their roots were growing outside of the cup 😱). I'm happy! 😃 I also overwatered them while I was changing their container 😞. In the very last pictures you'll notice that some algae was growing (the green thing in the white rocks) so I gotta be more careful next time and use less water... gladly it doesn't seem to be causing troubles! 👌 About the 5th seed I used I fear she didn't make it... she's still inside her shell and it doesn't look like she'll come out 😭 4th one is now showing a lot of progress, even when she looks weird... so I still have hopes! Maybe she'll impress me at a later stage! 😍 I'll try to have the next update sooner! Thanks everyone! 😻

I fertilized with I49 grow 1 tbsp/gal & 2 tbsp I49 Flower. I added this as a preventive measure since I’m seeing issues with nitrogen usage in the lower leaves even though she is in super soil. AK47 must be a heavy feeder. With the extreme heat and rain, my AK-47xl. She grew a foot and is now 31 inches tall. She demonstrates resistance to fungal diseases and bug damage. In the background noise on the video is Cicadas. When they hatch, they crawl onto a tree or plant and molt. The adult has wings. This is the empty body casing. Hey guys! Thanks for stopping in to check out my babies! This is week 2 of flower (days 8-14). This week things really seemed to take off! 🔥 Plants were happy all week long and seemed to grow almost an 1” per day if not more. Buds are developing nicely, no smell yet but nice to see them stackin’. I cut out anything under the trellis that would end up being popcorn buds so the plants could focus on the main colas. Hoping I’ll just have to pull a few leaves here and there from now on. The New Floraflex drip system has been nice! 💯 It has made watering easier and more automated. Water distribution isn’t perfect but I’m sure they aren’t 100% level either. Plants should stop stretching after this next week and should start putting on some size! Stoked to see what these girls can do in week 3! Day by day break down: Day 8 Cut out some lower growth/ leaves blocking bud sites Day 9 Fed all 6 plants. PH: 6.11, PPM: 1136 Day 10 Plants look great. Let them do their thing. Day 12 Fed al 6 plants. PH: 6.05, PPM: 1264 Day 14 sitting at 29” tall right now. Not so stressed on height being be issue. Thinking they might be around 35-40” tall at the max. Stay tuned for next weeks post to see how much these ladies have thickened up!

The plant took off this week. I am relatively new so was working through getting my PH measuring/balancing down. Now that I have established a better method the plant responded well. Put in a scrog to help even the canopy for the future. The other plant I have running is a bubblegum autoflower that is a few weeks older (right). Personally I really loved the look of the gold leaf at this point, it had a very nice spiral look to it almost like an xmas wreath.

Destiny has given me a wonderful climate so far but from the 18th the weather will change completely, precisely in the last 10 days of flowering which fortunately is very accelerated by the anomalous heat, especially at night. Typical late summer weather here, kinda for weed. First storm is expected on Saturday, I'm ready to protect them. I've made the last rearrangement of the tent, trying to give more room to the vigorous and overflowing Pineapple Kush so I've rised the roof to 110". The plants are all carefully sprayed with thyme extract to control mites infection, it seems to work, infection is stable from 1 week. I kill manually 20/30 bedbugs a day. During nighttime, maybe a monster grasshopper, is munching some leaves, at this point I don't care, I have to defoliate anyway and these bastards don't chew buds, for now. Buds are filling very well, super sticky and frosty but looking at sister's buds is clear that Royal Gorilla will not produce giant buds (except the twin buds) . Strong citron/berry scent. I have to be very careful not to touch her because she is sticky like a fly trap and not to shake her because the smell can be heard from 100 meters away. Expected harvest September 3rd/4th week. Skywalker came down mid week with mostly cloudy trichomes. Probably could’ve pulled it longer but it looked ready to me and I’m expecting kush effects anyway. Blueberry has a beautiful fade that would probably have scared me my first grow. She has definitely had calcium issues which is causing some leaves to burn crispy. That can all be cut away after drying so im not too concerned. Arguably i could’ve chopped her this week but i think she has more to do before her time is up Glueberry OG just now getting some yellowing of leaves. Hard to tell if it’s a deficiency or fade to my eye but i top dressed a small amount of NLS concentrate before it gets much further along. This might be a mistake this far along but I’m willing to learn from it if it is

Hello everyone! I promised to track this grow very closely this time and ufortunately life got in the way. Here is a quick sumup of the grow. First of all- One of the sour stomper plants unfortunately didn't make it. It died at about week 4. The main stem somehow had rubbed/broken down. That's why it was falling down. It was almost like a mini beaver had chewed it off at the point where the stem touches the riot rooter. At first I thought nothing much of it, maybe it hasn't been rooted in quite well yet or something. And I was constantly touiching it when watering, that made it worse. Soo the leaves were dropping and the plant looked very weak. Then I decided cut thr rapid rooters top layer and found out the severity of the problem. Tried to tape it up and other things, but it was too late. At the end it appeared all good as the remaing plants got so big the I had some space issue so I wouldn't have been able to fit another plant in anyway. At that time I finally made my self-draining saucers. I took me a while and a lot of effort, but finally they were ready and working well. I also installed the self watering system and flowering was starting. Pretty soon I started noticing weird leaf symtoms. Brown spots, different kind. Some plants had it more, some less. Sour Stomper looked pretty good throughout the grow. Mango smiles seemed sensitive and Strawberry Nuggs were pretty strong until the end. The grow was basically me experimenting with the setup- changing watering schedules , changing ppm, ph and all that stuff to keep the leaves looking healthy and it was very hard I have to admit. Probably my hardest grow in that regard. But somehow, the bud leaves remained healthy and the buds really fattened up good. I got away with an amzing 700G dry bud harvest which was def a new record from one grow. And the bud quality is very good too! Next time definetly no more than 4 plants as they got pretty big and I thought it was a little overcrowded. I was doing some good defoliation too. I should have defolited strawberry nugs more tho. Sour Stomper got some amazing bud development from top to bottom because it was was growing next to strawberry nuggets which were really small most of the grow. They actually took the most time to harvest even longer than Mango smile. Mango smiles were ready quite early. Sour Stomper was just in time! I topped sour stomper and both Mangoi smiles, left SNs both normal. Looking back at it, the way I grow them, Should have topped SNs too. Would probably have more space in the middle and longer side branches. Probably wouldn't have been as bushy! I followed the full Terra aquatica feed chart until the end. I was supplementing with CalMag a lot as I thought the symptoms could have been from a CalMag deficiency as this was my first grow with RO water. Overall a very challenging but good grow at the end. First time no mold problems. A record breaking yield for me. Basically surpassed the upper limit for all plant probable harvest sizes. Got good smelling quality bud. Very happy overall and will continue experimenting with Mephisto beans in the future for sure! I guess what I like the most about Mephisto is how close to description the plant is, very stable genes in that regard. Next time I will also have to start feeding plants higher PPM feed faster at the very start. and during flowering. But still not 100% sure what caused the leaf symptoms.

Day 86 A life cycle is about to reach an end. Knowing that i am the one whos gonna chop and blaze her up is kinda sad or maybe because Im high. It is wht it is though. It is just time Day 91 The photo girls still developing. Seems like they are gonna be ready in weeks. The top colas seem less frosty compared to the lower buds though.

HARVEST CHOPPED 17TH SEPT - DAY 127 FROM SEED DRIED FOR 10 DAYS PLANT 1 - 127g (4.5oz) PLANT 2 - 151g (5.4oz) TOTAL 278g (10 oz) Sorry for the late post! Harvesting has been the main priority. Everything is done now though! These 2 plants ended up verrrrry different. One smells sweet and gassy and fresh, and the other smells extremely savoury, almost like chicken ramen. Trimming only took a couple days, and I’m really happy with the result! The smoking experience is very pleasant. The nugs are sooooo sticky that I need to prepare my roaches and papers before I touch the flower otherwise my fingers will be too sticky. An amazing dilemma!

I think I'm off to a good start. This is the roughest part of a grow for me so far. One thing that I learned from my past killings was to not get obsessive and that's the approach. I've got a way better understanding of feeding now. I was confused about feeding charts, thinking that it was mix and feed. Even though I checked the PH and PPM (incorrectly a few times) I'd consistently fry my plants to near death, bring them back with plain, proper ph'd water and then re-fry the next feeding. It hadn't dawned on me that the nutrient mix while being in the optimal PH range, mixed in right order and correct measurements, my PPM/EC was way too high for the stage of the plant. Yikes, I was feeding a toddler 3 double Whoppers with extra everything. And XL fries. You burn and learn I guess. The little girl was starting to look hungry so I took a shot and fed light nutrients with some hydrogen peroxide (will update the chart soon getting sleepy). I also punched a lot more holes in the bottom of the solo cup. Few hours later her leaves perked up like she was giving me a high five. Leaves are looking good too with a PPM of about 211. It's going to be a warmer weekend so I figure I'll crack another seed and put my 5 gallon pot to use. Possibly a photoperiod?
