Hello again, GrowDiaries family! 😎 We’ve officially entered Week 9 and the Critical is looking better than ever. I’ve been keeping a close eye on every detail to ensure a smooth transition into mid-flowering. 📏 Precision Measurements & Training • Height: Now at 35 cm (a steady +5 cm growth since the end of last week). • Light Distance: Maintaining the LED at exactly 45 cm from the canopy. • Canopy Management: As you can see in the photos, I'm still using LST clips (red and black) to keep everything leveled. This has created a perfect sea of tops where light reaches every bud site equally. • Light Defoliation: I’ve tucked and removed a few large fan leaves to improve airflow and light penetration to the lower nodes. 🌡️ Environment & Climate • Temperature: 27°C during the day and 18°C during the dark period. This temperature drop at night is keeping the plant very happy. • Humidity (RH): Lowered to 40-45%. This is perfect for this stage to prevent any mold issues while the flowers start to thicken. 💧 Watering & Nutrient Strategy The plant's metabolism is peaking; she is extremely thirsty and drinking every 24-36 hours! • Alternating Schedule: To prevent salt buildup and keep the roots healthy, I’m now alternating waterings: one with the Biobizz nutrient line and the next one with plain pH-adjusted water. • Status: The leaves show a very healthy, deep green. No signs of burn, just pure vigor! 🌿 Flower Evolution Dense clusters of white pistils are popping up everywhere, and the first "sugar" (resin) is starting to coat the nearby leaves. Cannopy filling out nicely. Using the odd bud clip here and there, using the net as well to even out the spacing. Height growing quick these days! Top dress this week, Gaia Green AP/PB, mixed with compost and added some insect frass this time. Heavier on PB for 10g, heavier on AP for Hugel. Weekly silica and monster maxx as well, drip irrigation and weekly spray of LCPT. Smaller 10g is flowering, slow starting, not sure she's fully made up her mind, drying out quickly though! Barely made it 3 days, heat wave for a few days, will have to boost the irrigation maybe 30mi each morning through it.

Started off week 2 of flowering on 11/19. All of the ladies look good with the Tangerine Dream being the only set of clones to start showing bud sights and not just pre-flowering. Did a significant amount of clipping and clipped most of the fan leaves on the main colas of my ladies and side branches too. I also began playing classical music for them! True to it’s genetics my Tangerine Dreams are putting off numerous side branches with side branches coming off those branches! Since flowering my Cotton Candy has grown the most. Before flowering it was just barely half the height of my TDs and now they’re taller! As for the Chronic Thunder it’s always been the tallest but in flowering it’s focus has all been on the side branches without me even topping it.

Didn't do ice flush towards the end but regular flush water was at about 65-67°F Night temps dropped as low as 67°F have been flushing for a total of 10 days firdt flush started with 2 tbsp molasses and fresh water and afterwards just plain water til the end. Will give pot 2 more days to dry out before cutting down. This will be the last post until the drying trimming and curing is complete. These are way to big for me to try and squeeze on my 10 inch long 10 pound scale. These plants are 2 inches short of 3 feet tall from soil level 😂😂

Cal Mag Issue occured, today i start feeding CalMag the first time.

We've made it to week 3! (10/12/20) I'm very happy with how the girls are going, they have definitely put in a HUGE amount of work over the past 7 days. Plants 3 & 8 are very similar(extremely fat leaves & extra bushy) Plants 1 & 5 are similar (smaller phenos reacting to nutes slightly differently) & Plants 2, 4, 6 & 7 seem to be a cross between the previously mentioned phenos(not too small and not too big/bushy & reacting to nutes fine) Feel free to compare Week 1, 2 & 3 to see the differences. Nutes are staying the same this week, although I will be spacing feedings out a little bit further(18 hours-ish), as well as feeding straight PH'd water once a fortnight. I am contemplating hooking my simple drip-to-waste irrigation system up, although the girls are pretty close to the medium still and the halos sit 5-10cm above the medium, meaning fan leaves would be drooping onto the wet halos, so I'll give it another week and see how they're doing :) Update 11/12/20 - day 22 The girls have beefed up quite a bit over the last 24 hours, I'm really looking forward to seeing a stretch soon :) No feeding today & will water plain ph'd water tomorrow. Update 12/12/20 - day 23 Gave the girls straight ph'd water today with little run off. Veg growth is really starting to boom now, looking forward to seeing where this grow goes! I'm gladly accepting any tips or tricks, as I'm still only a beginner to indoors. Update 13/12/20 - day 24 Girls are looking great today, not much to report. They didn't get a feed or watering today as the medium was still wet after a pure watering yesterday. Update 14/12/20 - day 25 There's been a big increase in growth over the past 24 hours. All the girls besides the 2 smaller phenos look 100% happy, the smaller ones have looked a little weird since day 1(Weird as in colour of the fan leaves look deficient of something, but I'm not sure what. The girls will be getting a full feeding today. There's still no signs of sex but they are feminised seeds. Update 15/12/20 - day 26 Girls are looking happy today. Temps are back to normal after a heat wave in my city(its only going to get hotter from here on out). No feeding/watering today, pots are heavy/wet enough. Started using iphone for photos now, my only lens for my DSLR is useless for most grow related photos. I will upgrade my lens before next grow. I received my new silenced fan today! I couldnt be any happier :) It is a silenced Sigilventus SE-A150J, which I have set-up with a brand new Can-lite carbon filter. I went from a rocket loud eBay fan to a completely silent inline EC fan :D I hope the girls like the silence! Update 16/12/20 - day 27 The girls are continuing to boom! and I'm over the moon about it :D I gave them a full feeding today. I have seen white pistils coming out of calyx's on most of the girls, so i'm hoping they start to flower soon. I'm having weird issues with my humidity, it seems to be fine at 40-50% for 70% of the day, but the remaing 30% of the day it goes up to 60-65%. Temps stay the same in the 5x5 tent, I have ducted air-con in the house which is on most of the day. Thanks for viewing! :)

I wish it was easier to upload media here. That's why is taking me so long. Stretching everywhere, she went from 3 feet to 6 feet in a heartbeat. She is running into the light. I raised the ppm because I'm going to turn 600 watts on. They look healthy, but too much legs.

9/30: All that remain are the 4 x FFT #4 clones. They are foxtailing a little, but getting so frosty. They've senesced pretty well on their own, but I flushed them with 8 gallons each today anyway...warm tap water with LiquidSoil. I'll harvest them on Sunday I think. 10/3: I gave them a little water early in the day to keep them turgid, and late at night I did a wet trim on all 4 of them and put them in the dark until late tomorrow night. Then, I'll harvest and wash them and this crop will be a done deal.👍 10/5: Early a.m., I cut them down, washed them, and hung them to drip dry. That's a wrap! I'll do harvest reports in another week or so, but early impressions of FFT's 2,4, and 10 are quite good. 👍

Ginger Nut Cookies and Aussie music videos week six Thursday 6th feb 2020 Hi Growers well I decided to bite the bullet and attempt some LST and topping , I gently bent it over and tied each branch down to a predrilled hole in the pot with some soft wire. I then topped each node that was showing. If any one has any extra tips or advice on how I should go about my training I would welcome it as I am still learning . This girl is definately showing some Indica dominant characteristics about her and looks nice and healthy. I will continue to train the branches as they grow and tuck fan leaves that block light . Now for the Music Videos ###### This Week I chose two songs from two different Music Videos and two different artists both spreading the message about Reconciliation and land rights for our Indigenous Brothers and sisters here in Australia . This is something I feel is very important and is still a major issue over 200 years later.
