So this week after I gave it under nutrients I apparently gave it too much nitrogen while having a potassium deficiency. Shiney dark leaves, So i fixed that, but some didn't bounce back, and I tried nitrogen. I think they are doing pretty good considering everything I've put them through SO FAR. lol. Nutrients are NPK Raw's total lineup, follow their instructions at first, Fastbuds adjustments as of this week.

Day36, 37, 38: Seems to be growing a set of leaves per day now. Super growth! Stretching to the top. Day39: I had a hiccup with the camera. For some reason it stopped responding at 04:30 in the morning. I only realized it much later. I still don't really know why, but reseating the data ribbon fixed the issue. Day40: After fixing the camera, I decided to take this view again. The Lady is starting to show some nice growth and this view will show it best. If you look carefully, you'll see that her branches are not green, but rather reddish. Definitely related to genetics :) Everything else is within limits. Plus, the leaves look super healthy. Day41: Here you can see the stem colour better.

The strain has proven to be extremely sturdy compared to the autoflower version. The smell has been a bit problematic. Some terpenes just can't seem to be tamed even with a brand new carbon air filter. I hope this pays off in terms of aroma quality :)

Moving right along, each girl is on her own pace. Tent was so crowded I had to remove the heater therefore I bought a bigger tent and will use use this one for drying. Thanks for looking..

These girls are starting to get really big and bushy! This has started to become quite the sea of green setup but they seem to be happy and healthy still! These are definitely slower to flower than my other strains going in the other box but with the long veg/flower time with this strain I know I’m going to get a decent yield compared to the LSD25 and BlueBerry! Continued with a light feeding with Advanced Nutrients, I’m starting to see slight bits of burn on the edges so I will have to keep an eye on them throughout the week. Hopefully she starts to develop some big colas soon!!

Hello Diary, Cherry Pie has finished its last week, I harvested it two days after taking the photo. 73 days since I put the seeds in the ground. 65 days since the start of the vegetation. Really very fast. But the result is impressive as you can see in the photos. The flowers are large and dense, the branches bend slightly under their weight. The main cola is especially large and full of large flowers covered in trichomes. The flowers are very hard to the touch and sticky under the fingers, especially the flowers on the main cola. The leaves have started to turn autumn yellow which is also an indicator of its maturity. The smell is very intense at this stage, the whole room smells like plants when I open the grow box. Watering was standard, every three days. This week I stopped adding nutrients, I just lowered the p.H. to 6.0 and water the plants with clean water. After taking the photos, I left it in the grow box for two more days to drink all the water from the soil to make it easier to dry. Before cutting, I removed all the leaves from the plant to also make drying faster and have less work to trim the dried flowers. After cutting, I left it upside down in the grow box to dry. Now all that remains is to see how much it has really rewarded me. See you when that happens. Here's what the last week looked like. 19/09/2024 - Day 57. Watering. I prepared 9 liters of water, lowered the pH to 6.0 and used that amount to water all three plants on the farm. 22/09/2024 - Day 60. Watering. I repeated the same procedure as three days earlier. 24/09/2024 - Day 62. I watered them all with 1.5 liters of water each plant so that they were fresh for the photo shoot. 25/09/2024 - Day 63. End of the last, 9th week since Cherry Pie began its journey. Photo shoot. 27/09/2024 - Day 65. Cherry Pie has been harvested. Then vaped, smoked and put back in the jar for 4-8 more weeks. (SADLY, I DELETED THE PICS LAST NIGHT. AFTER UPLOADING TO A NEW 3 WK, WK, AND PAUSED IT. CAME BACK LATR AND STARTED UPDATE ON ANOTHER, WIPING AWAY 3 WKS OF PICS...GRRRRRR Roughly 105-110 days. 55-60 Days in flower. WEEKS 13-14-15 Days was harvested. Noticed a lot of dead leafs in-between the buds. Pult it back to start pulling it out. And was covered in fuzz. The Pure Zym had started degrading the dead leafs that she threw off last wk when she turned yellow. And, the smell she look of rot. So, had to go thru everything. In total 3 of the biggest buds had to be stripped, opened and cut out the rot. (Thankfully I know what to look for) so, 98-99% of it was fine. Just 3 big ass buds,,(semi colas) so so dense. And yeah. I was running her in co2 with 70+ RH with temps pushing 30c but, even in her last week of fattening she took to co2 so a bat outta hell. HARVESTED METHODS Pult and was checking her trichomes. 90-95% cloudy. And was pulling dead leafs and noticed fuzz. Harvested ASAP. She was already on water for a wk. So I stripped, checked, cleaned out the dead leaves, and de-stemed and hung on my 8 tier net Drier. Was amazed when going through her bud, removing dead leaf after dead leaf from within the buds,( BTW, was very satisfying. Was like I was 15 again in wood class pulling wood glue from my hand while the teacher driveled on. 'Memories) anyways, I digress. So, she's hung, far from ideal temperature. 21.5-19c. So, she'll dry fast. Thankfully she was heavily fed on water all week. I did flush the soil to check the ppm was 290 bit higher than I'd like. Its why I soft flush for 10-14 days. But, I panicked. And stripped her. Delighted I lost very little. Video above to what I cut out, and some of the buds. So dense Lights SP/FC 3000 SP 3000 was used from start to 2/3rds thru fattening phase. Starting to realise why it is called Northern Lights, it is glowing even in the dark. Plant looks healthy, enjoying it's mid flowering party.

Was a bit stressfull week the plants on the left side of the pot seemed to be dehydrated, after i gave them water twice they recovered a lil bit. As you can see the plant in the middle is huge. I will take some clones of her to equalize the canopy eventually. Monday i will switch to 12/12 and i think i will take the clones next week and start an other diary for them aswell. Big pot s a bit problem with watering but i learn as the proces goes. They need a lot more water than im giving at the moment but im looking for a sweetspot. So for now im ordering an tensiometer and an fertometer so i can properly feed them in the flower period

Very variable weather, summer is at the end, temperature drops quickly, even 60 °F. I was out for 3 days, on my return I found the three girls who were starting to wither but they were promptly watered. No damage to report. The yellowing of the lower canopy has started. Acceptable weather forecast until 10 September. I bought 5 transparent PCV tarps to protect them extemporaneously from the rain. My beloved Gorilla rocks! Buds are forming and filling very well, super sticky and frosty. Strong citron/bubblegum scent. This sativa-like pheno is funtastic, she is not very leafy, leaves are narrow so the sun penetrate very well through the whole plant. It remains to be seen how the buds will fill up and if my girl can disprove the reputation for "quality buds but low yields" . Let's see. Expected harvest September 3rd week.
