Flowers are still putting on weight. Very frosty and lots of bud.she is still drinking 3.5 liters a day

I completely changed the water and nutrients this week and added some Canna PK13/14. I have also added another MARS Hydro TW2000 light to the tent to try and get more light to the lower buds. Gave both plants a trim also for the same reason. I was concerned they were still not ready to harvest, but expert advice from FastBuds420 told me they probably needed a further 4 weeks. And I will give them an update and the information they requested. I think it's probably because I had the lights turned down to 25% during the veg stage and only at 50% for the early flowering stage; it was not till recently, about 3 weeks, I think the lights got turned up to 100%.

The plants are doing really good! I made a first light defoliation beginning of the week and continued the LST day by day. So far I broke no branch. I planned to switch to 12h/12h schedule beginning of next week but the plants grew too big already so I decided to switch a bit earlier. Day 29 (Second Grow): "Hey everyone! Starting a new week with some exciting plans! 🌿 We've got about one more week before we transition the plants to the flowering phase. Just to recap last week's updates for those following along: We’ve named all the plants in both grows. This makes it easier to identify and keep track of each one, especially if they get moved around. It should also help you all follow along more easily with the pictures we post. We've built a SCROG (Screen of Green) net for the plants. A SCROG net helps train the plants to grow horizontally, which maximizes light exposure to all parts of the plant and promotes more even growth. We're using it to ensure all plants get plenty of light and develop a uniform canopy. We’ve placed a hygrometer among the plants to measure the humidity between the leaves. We've noticed that the humidity sometimes exceeds 70% in those areas. We're considering whether we need more fans, an intake ventilation system, or if a dehumidifier would be a better option. We're leaning towards adding more fans to improve air circulation, but we'd love to hear your thoughts and suggestions! Exciting news for our second grow: we’ve added a new member to the grow tent – a praying mantis! 🦗 Her species is Timor shield mantis, and she still needs a name. We got her to help with pest control naturally. Praying mantises are excellent predators and can help keep unwanted insects away from our plants. Feel free to suggest a name for her! Any tips or fun facts about keeping a mantis in the grow tent are also welcome!" Day 34 (Second Grow): "Hey everyone! Big update today: we’ve switched the timer to a 12/12 light cycle to initiate the flowering phase! 🌸 Our second batch of plants, just like the first, has developed well and we believe they’re ready to start blooming. This change should encourage them to shift their energy towards producing buds. For those following along, here’s a quick recap: We've implemented a SCROG net to manage the canopy and ensure even light distribution. We've introduced a Timor shield mantis for natural pest control. The plants have responded well to all adjustments and are looking healthy. Now that the flowering phase is starting, we’re excited to see how they develop over the next few weeks. Any tips or advice for optimizing this phase? Let us know in the comments!"

Hi Grow room buddies. Here we have another generous sponsors run of Zamnesia Autos. Ordering was a simple process with a great delivery and after sales welcome to the brand. A nice touch indeed. Rhe pack I recieved was well wrapped and secure with no signs of being tampered with in any way. A really nice package of goodies was found inside from plant labels to grinders and plenty of nice stickers to decorate too. I chose the 3 strains as 1 I love as a strain in the amnesia haze and the Gsc is one i have fancied growing for a while. The sticky beast looks like a great new strain to sample too. I used the cup of water soak for 24 hours to soften the seed casing and dissolve any protective coatings they may have . After 24 hours they were still all sealed but had at least sunk so I left them a further 12 hours. I then put them allnjnto a light mix to hopefully germinate under my lights but at a good distance away and in a heated propagator . Within a few days I saw a few heads popping up and signs of most being awake by disturbed soil. Sadly leaving them for a few more days resulted in 6 making the surface but the only Sticky beast that got through , opened a second set of leaves and keeled over with a stragulated looking stem halfway up ??. I recovered her in her fallen state in the hope she may still fight on but it isn't looking good. ( see pics !) With only 5 making it to this point , I have had to fill the gaps with other seeds. A little disappointed to get 4 failures but hopefully Zamnesia will ensure this is looked at ?. I now have 3 very healthy looking Amnesia Haze and 2 sprightly looking Girls scout cookies to play with. I have now got them into their 30L pots and have done on them to encourage a little moisture while they settle in. Fingers crossed........

Second week of flower and I defoliated again. There are small bud sites starting to form at the end of week two flower. The apple fritter has fascination which is making the stems grow interestingly with lots of bud sites.

Eternity Grow Cup - Week 1 Flower Report Welcome to the first week of flower in the Eternity Grow Cup! Let’s dive into all the details and talk about the key elements shaping this transition. 48 Hours Dark Period & Transition to Flower Before flipping to flower, we implemented a 48-hour dark period. In my experience, this technique helps the plants transition more smoothly and accelerates their hormonal shift into flowering. It’s a method that has consistently worked well for me, and I encourage growers to explore different approaches to find what best suits their setup. The Power of Reds - Far Red & Deep Red As part of this transition, we have introduced far red and deep red lighting. These are turned on 15 minutes before the main whites and stay on for 15 minutes after. The reason? This simulates the natural sunrise and sunset effect, which helps optimize the flowering response and enhances overall plant development. The red spectrum plays a crucial role in promoting stretch and enhancing bud formation early on. Light Schedule - 11/13 Cycle From the start of flower, we are running an 11 hours light / 13 hours dark schedule. Over the years, I’ve found this lighting strategy beneficial in inducing faster flower onset, increasing terpene production, and ultimately producing better-quality fruits. This is something I personally swear by, but as always, I encourage others to experiment and see what works best for their unique environments. Spending Time with the Girls One of my favorite parts of the grow is spending time with the plants, enjoying some good medicine, and simply being present in the garden. The connection we have with our plants is invaluable, and I believe they truly respond to the energy we bring. It’s a labor of love, and every moment spent with them contributes to their health and vitality. Hi everyone 🤗 This week the two Kosher Tangie Kush were harvested by Amsterdam Genetics 😍. extremely good phenotypes. The blue cheese pheno 2 and 3 were placed in the darkroom according to the video. These were harvested yesterday, from which the pictures will come in the next update :-). All others need 2-3 weeks. I wish you lots of fun with the diary, stay healthy 🙏🏻 and let it grow 🌱

Week 1 Day 1 - 8/12/2023 1st Water change Day! Such a special time it is when you remove the little bit of Nutes that you gave them as an appetizer and you give them their first real meal. Added 39 Gallons of Water to my system SILICA= .5mil/Gal = 19.5 = 20mil Root Drip = 1mil/Gal = 39mil Cal Mag= .25mil/Gal = 9.75 = 10mil FLoraMicro= 3.0mil/Gal = 114mil FloraGro = 2.0mil/Gal = 78mil FloraBloom = 2.0mil/Gal =78mil ORCA= .5mil/Gal = 19.5 = 20mil Week 1 Day 2 - 8/13/2023 Everything is looking good the roots are making thier way to the water and the new grow is looking nice and green. Week 1 Day 3- 8/14/2023 Everything is right on track, they are looking beautiful and in the praying postition all leaves happily lifting towards the light. Week 1 Day 4- 8/15/2023 Looking beautiful today and looked like she could use her first haircut.. gave her a TOP off. Roots are laying in the water everything is looking right on track.. Week 1 Day 5- 8/16/2023 walked in and the humidity was under 60.... ohh noooooo.. So I added 2 humidifiers to the tent and attached them to my InkBird controller which is set to 62. She had roots nicely in the water.. this grow is on!!! Week 1 Day 6- 8/17/2023 Humidity was a little low this morning, so I refilled the humidifiers. Other than that, the temp looks great, the PH looks great, the PPM looks good the plant is in the praying position and all damage from the little drowning seems to have been fixed. Happy Happy. Week 1 Day 7- 8/18/2023 Yay.. week 1 in the books, roots in the water growth has started first hair cut given and both side nodes are growing. Everything is looking good and on track.. A lot better than week one of the last grow when I had them drowning week 1. Really excited on how this grow is going to come out.
