So this one started slow but healthy. She was a sativa that expected much more leg space and warmer humid climate which i fixed later. Needs LsT. I hit it with my concoction to keep her short it worked. Dense nugs especially for sativa hybrid. Not loud but tropical sweet. I needed 11 weeks min for flower could run 12 even though I seeded mine. Tiny sativa seeds like the original ibl bred by jaffa seeds uk and brought to me by Pevseeds. Not bad for under a cheap 120w led quantum and 3 gallon grow bag. I should have went with 5. The roots were amazing dense.

*Pre-flowers have micro trichomes upon formation, LOL. Based on my early observation, I predict that these will be frosty frosty on the trichomes. Added 20lbs of black lava rock as mulch, raising soil temp around 1 and a half degrees to 72.8F. Some nice little bud formations are creeping up already. Nice little foliar spray of some aminos to the underside of the leaf. Hard to guage or know how much the aminos help, but after reading how energy intensive it is for the plant to make them from scratch its something I feel I need to do as a habit. An EC (Electrical Conductivity) meter, one that's made for the soil, it's so useful, as it indirectly indicates soil moisture as well as salt mineral nutrient levels. Just pop your metre stick in the soil and if ec is low, then it's time to water. Once there is water to assist in the conduction of electricity, the EC" will kick back up. 0.3-1.8, if it stays low, then you know it's time to add more mineral salt ferts! While Electrical Conductivity primarily indicates the overall salt content in soil, pH provides information about the relative proportion of cations (positively charged ions) in the soil's salt capacity. High EC signifies a higher salt concentration, while pH reflects the balance of cations like calcium, magnesium, potassium, ammoniacal nitrogen, sodium, and hydrogen. The smells are becoming very strong in my house and truthfully I am still pretty pleased with trichome production although I definitely can tell the wish i had calmag 3 weeks earlier but better late then never about 3 weeks from harvest can't wait for this one been long road but a rewarding one.

Good day to all my friends and visitors here on GD. The finale grow week for the first Tropicanna XL is there (the one by the wall), she came out just lovely and the smell is mad. I could use it as perfume it's so rich and fruity, never had a plant with such outstanding fragrance. This week we start of changing the reservoir water to which I decided to add nutrients. Yes, this plant will not get a flush before harvest, it's the first time i'm not flushing a plant for the cut but you know only two of the four girls are ready to chop and it's not possible in my RDWC to seperate feed them. So yes it's kind of an experiment for me...some time ago i heard that "man does not need to flush"... yeah I don't really believe what the white coats tell us but then we watched Dr Bruce Bugbee stating the same thing and he quoted experiments performed by his team... I believe him, and I don't really have much choice. Something's not right with my fresh solution or the plants get root rot or something but the girls starting to show K deficiency...I ended up adding an insane amount of PK through the week...good that the plants are on the finish line :) The SE7000 runs at 550 Watt and about 33cm from the canopy and is doing an astounding job. Great strain and amazing taste. Very relaxed and doesn't get you high. Beware you may still fail a drugs test with this. Would reccomend for topical, smoking or edibles, real game changer.

So this week was the first week of flowering! 😊 lovely. She has stretched just a little bit and will expect some further stretching. Quite glad of this as my green house is quite short. Weather has been colder and slightly damper this week so she probably hasn’t been at optimal conditions. Gave her Some extra vegetation and bloom to help through this transitions. Also added a nice scoop of BatGuano to ensure she has enough P in the near future.

Ok so finally decided to harvest the big beast of critical mass after a week of flush and two days of darkness shes finally down and in drying net will post updates on pics vids when its dried properly so harvested the big critical mass now have the 3 critical mass and 2 white widdow x big bud so taken a few pics will now push these over the next 4 weeks do some slight leaf stripping and then put on overdrive for last two weeks to get the best from this strain the longer u leave it the better the taste and overall flavour will be trust me guys

Progressed as expected in the last 7 days. Will be using the Vitalink nutrient range on this grow as their prices are so much lower compared to other nutrient ranges available in the UK and there's a global cost of living crisis thanks to corporate greed, so it will be interesting to see the results when using what they recommend. BTW - This grow should have an asterisk next to "Wedding Gelato" I'm almost 100% sure I haven't mixed the seed up with any other, but can't rule it out entirely. I am stoned all of the time so it's a possibility. I guess we'll find out when she flowers.
