Week 6 Veg - January 16/21 to 22/21 ***** Week 7 will be their last week being able to take them out of the tent😟 SCROG netting going in on the weekend ahead. Not really a lot to report this week as the girls are doing well and I am just wanting their side branches to grow longer to help filling in the canopy anyway. Performed more LST this week and bending over the branches daily. Didn’t do any HST this week, will once the net is in and I have a better visual of how the branches need to bend. They have come a long ways over the last 2 weeks when you look back at pictures. They have filled out with more side branching and other than battling a little purple striping on the main stems they seem pretty happy. Leaf colour is good and should be in good shape for the flip soon. Will go through all of week 8 before flipping so hopefully week 9 will be transition week and week 10 the start of flower.......have to get through next week first though😀👍 Switching over to tap water again. I have been struggling with calcium and magnesium deficiencies on all grows for the last year. I can’t seem to get the right amount added back to the RO water I use in all feedings. So running with straight water again now. Ppm coming out is 325 so I will work with that. Going to explore my own RO system in the house rather than bottled water, a system that adds back calcium, magnesium, and iron. It’s been flowing okay for the first week and will continue on for now. Using RO water I have been feeding full strength on the nutrients and have been working on backing them down a bit to compensate for the starting point of 325 now. They have continued to be fed once a week roughly and supplemented with calmag and microbes. Little more detail....... Jan 16/21, Day 36 Veg - 3L each of full line at full strength in RO water - 1150ppm and 5.8pH given to the girls - didn’t add any other nutes other than IPP line. Jan 17/21, Day 37 Veg - dry out day - pulled down all the girls again tonight to train them outwards. - Jan 18/21, Day 38 Veg - 3L for each girl today with tap water and CalMag @ 1ml, Microbes @ 2ml, Nature’s Candy @ 1.5ml - 700ppm and 5.7pH is what that works out to. - have to use a considerable amount of pH down to adjust the tap water, over 6ml in 16L Jan 19/21, Day 39 Veg - measured the girls today, GSCHB Is 12” tall. They were topped already😀 - dry out day for the girls. - Jan 20/21, Day 40 Veg - 2.5L each with plain tap water - 295ppm and 5.8pH. - all the girls are looking big and bushy today.......they are ready for flip soon. Jan 21/21, Day 41 Veg - dry out day for the girls. Jan 22/21, Day 42 Veg - pulled all the girls down again......repeating the same LST each day manually rather than tying down for now. - this should be water day but leaving for today as I am going to lolipop the lower branches and a heavier leaf stripping tomorrow. - will feed tomorrow as they will benefit more. Very solid week ETS......the girls are taking off and expect to see lots of leaves popping out over the next couple of weeks😀👍 Work on the side branching to come up higher closer to the tops next week.......continue tap water and give a feed with Epsom Salts new week

The girls have recovered from the defol and are really filling out! 1 more week in the tub and then off to the flower tent. I started spraying lost coast plant therapy this week as preventative measures. It's given the leaves a bit of a deeper green shine, but otherwise, the plants are looking great!

Cantaloupe haze needed a good flush brought runoff from 2000 ppm to 1100ppm will continue to monitor.

I had to remove some yellowing leaves... I am not sure if the plant is just too tightly packed around the edges or if I am not feeding her enough nutrients. I have started giving her BioBizz Grow (1st last night) since I've read it is mostly just molasses and should be supplied not only during "growth" - e.g. the vegetative phase. On the buds - the leave edges have started to turn a nice shade of purple. I usually only water exactly the required amount - so 1l for my 15l pot. At the beginning of this week I decided to do a small flush - as per grow question recommendation. I only used 25l to my not completely full 15l pot (I am guessing 10-12l earth) with rain-water and checked the runoff: PH=6. PPM dropped from 1800 to <400ppm at the end. She has started to smell very tropical the last few days... With humidity levels hitting 80% outside - my little 25W dehumidifier can't keep up... I keep my fans on and hope for the best. Soil is still wet from the flush - might try the Seedhunter's recommendation and not water for 5 days. Looking back - I really should have noticed the whitening tips 2 weeks ago... last week I should have made the connection of "burnt leaf tips = overfeeding" - but nooo. =) I have been making the same mistake as with my last grow - I watered exactly what she was drinking... 1l/24h. So salt could build up and the magic marker is 10 weeks. This is when "watering wrong" shows... Day 87 (Friday): still no signs of drought stress so I will water with low nutrients maybe tomorrow... I lost all my pictures of my candy kush harvest but the bud was pretty uninspiring, not much for terps or smell and just makes me sleepy so been using it when I get home from my 12 hour shifts at 7am so I can get to sleep quick as possible, will be the last plants EVER from royal queen seeds ,defended them for the last year but since growing real breeders seeds I see that rqs is most definitely a white label seed company that sells us all fake genetics that are not what they say they are,I gave them every chance but when I grow 5 different strains and they all end up looking,smelling and tasting exactly the same theres something fishy going on ,sucks too because now I don't want to give those strains a chance because rqs's version left such a bad taste in my mouth(literally and figuratively)

Hello Growers and Tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 Finally got that transpant done. Added a bit of root juice to help out the transplant. Won't be adding nutes until next week, directly bloom nutes.. Took waaaay to long to transplant. They didn't get any growth becuase of the bad weather these past weeks. Very bummed out about that. Two of the are already in prefower.. the tiniest i hope grows a bit more.. can't really ask for much more given the bad weather and that they're autos.. I'll for sure be doing a re run with this strain with better stable conditions. Take care out there! One love!

Week 9 - Fourth Week of Flower The Donutz gang is hitting its stride as the fourth week of flower unfolds. Trichomes are developing beautifully, and the plants are entering full production mode. A few challenges cropped up this week, but quick thinking and some DIY ingenuity kept everything on track. Key Updates: Trichome Progress: The resin glands are popping off, with a frosty layer forming across the developing buds. The plants are starting to show their true potential, and the tent is starting to smell. New Fan Installation: The old ventilator tapped out this week, so a replacement was installed to maintain proper airflow. This ensures the plants stay cool and prevents any issues with humidity or stagnant air. Lamp Adjustment: The front-left plant shot up too close to the light, so I had to get creative. I built a DIY solution to raise the lamp higher, ensuring even coverage and preventing light stress. Accident Recovery: During the light adjustment, I initially tried securing the front-left plant with a rubber band. Concerned it might melt, I removed it, but in the process, the main stem got damaged. Thankfully, the plant is a fighter. The main cola is now growing sideways but remains fully healthy and strong. This unexpected twist has added some character to the tent, and the plant is bouncing back beautifully. Observations: Despite the challenges, all plants are thriving, with strong growth and healthy bud development. The sideways-growing cola on the front-left plant is a unique highlight, showing the resilience of the Donutz genetics. Next Steps: Keep monitoring airflow and light height to avoid any further issues. Continue with the nutrient schedule and reverse osmosis (RO) watering to maintain stability. Watch the trichomes closely as they continue to mature, signaling the start of the final phases of flower. The Florida Gang grind is real, and the Donutz are proving their worth week after week. This tent is shaping up to be a legendary grow!

Accidentally "topped" her by hard LST... Way she goes. I top dressed this week with 50/50 Gaia green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4... 😊😊 Things seem to be looking great! Can't wait for flower to come on hard!

She is still bulking. White pistils are starting to turn brown. She is starting to smell sweet with citrus notes.

Nice smoke, still currently curing but will become better with age of course. A strong indica as described and exactly what I was looking for after smoking a bit of Sativa for a while, perfect for a quiet night in chilling on a Friday or long day of work. Would recommend for sure.

Week 5 on these amazing girls. They're full into the flower stage and the smells are starting to come through super strong. I've switched over to bloom nutes and they seemed to never skip a beat. All in all excited to see what the coming weeks have in store. Happy Growing.

Not a lot happened last week, just monitoring, feeding, and keeping everything in check while the girls did their thing. I did switch over to my finishing nutrients and have cut out calmag according to feeding chart I have been following. I think we are gettting pretty close to harvest though! The trichomes are starting to get a little milky. I am going to wait until about 30% amber to harvest though. I am getting super excited to finish this one and start my next run! 9/2 - The girls have been doing great and are starting to pack on the size and frost nicely! Nothing to do to them really except monitor and keep checking and making sure everything is running at an optimal level. The closer it gets I start to get a little nervous for the dry. I am prepared and have a plan, just hopefully I can get my dry set up as dialed in as I was able to get my grow tent. I will try to post more updates this week. Last week I had company from out of town, so it was difficult to get around to it. 9/5- Just continuing to monitor and check the trichomes, once about 25-30% turn amber I will be harvesting! They are starting to get pretty cloudy right now. When I did the res change yesterday, I switched to just root drip and full tilt and have started flushing, hopefully not too early, but im following my feeding chart. My LIT Marker plant is thriving, and it's interesting to see the similar leaf structure to the Black Valentine I grew from LIT Farms. I gave it a dose of calcium this week, hoping it will help green up the leaves and keep it healthy. It's been a challenging week with the constant rain and ridiculously high humidity. Keeping things dry indoors has been a real struggle. Despite the weather, I managed to flip all my feminized photoperiod plants to flower this week. I'm hoping the switch will go smoothly, but with this humidity, it's going to be tough.
