Growth has been slow but solid thought I'd do a update for the last 2 weeks, bud sites really stacking now getting very dense and sticky, its been a long grow but I think she's nearly there few more weeks, still not looking like a massive yielder but now the bud sites are bulking out and becoming dense I think it will be better than expected 🙏 very potent skunky smell coming off her

They had 48 hrs of darkness, and the time has come to say goodbye to my friends. I thanked them again, spend some time with them, and under the sound of Amazonian shaman's harvest and healing songs (will post link), asked for their gifts, and apologized for taking their lives. I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Overall I'm very happy!! Entering final week of major stretch, these plants have been a pleasure to grow so far, and my overall setup has been performing pretty flawlessly. Excited for the weeks to come, tho another longer trip away from the plants looms in the future (🎅🏻). Hopefully i can dial in a temporary auto watering system for then. Just did a light defoliation so i can leave them unmolested for the week - mainly took off leaves brushing against the forming pistils. These plants grow like weeds no doubt, branches out of branches out of branches. Temps and runoff a little high but overall a smooth start to the flowering stage i would say.

Will be changing the metal halide to my gavita hps 600w bulbs the weekend now ther transitioning, no signs if mites too thank lord

I exceeded all of my expectations!!! Imagined I would get around 80g of bud when finished. During drying I lowered my weight expectations to 40-50g just by looking at the buds. So you can imagine the look on my face when the final weigh-in came up to 104g!!!! Buds not super dense but not fluffy either. Really happy considering it's my first grow and using only organic, slow release (cheap-ish) fertilisers as most of my budget went to the set-up. Looking forward to keep improving!!!! In two weeks I will update with a smoke report!!!

Moving along nicely now. The timelapse is showing some nice growth over the last 6 days. The next month should really be fun to watch. I plan to let them stay in the buckets for another week before I move them into the larger containers. Not much else to see early on. They should be ready for their first clipping here soon. Fun fun!
