Week 8 Veg – Go Big or Go Home! 🌱💪 Hey, Grow Fam! 🌿 What an intense week it’s been in the grow room! This was one of those “go big or go home” moments, and I decided to take it to the extreme. I’m holding off on flipping to flower for just one more week because the plants are filling up the space beautifully—I can’t help but push things to their limits and see just how much these ladies can give! 😎✨ This week was all about maximizing growth and creating the best canopy I can. I did a light defoliation, just here and there to open things up a bit, and then came the bending—LOTS of bending. 🌱 I’m working hard to create an even canopy, though with all these different genetics, we’ll see how close I get! 🤞 Regardless, I’m giving it my all, and I’m super pumped to see how everything will respond in the next stage. The final touch this week? I ended it with a bold 36 hours of darkness to prepare for the big flip next week—flower mode, here we come! 🌸 What Went Down This Week: 1. Canopy Work – Bending and training all over the place to try and keep things even. It’s a real challenge with different genetics, but the payoff is going to be worth it! 2. Defoliation – Just a little bit of leaf removal here and there to help with airflow and light penetration, prepping them for that final veg stretch. 3. 36 Hours of Darkness – Closed out the week with a full day and a half of darkness. The 36 hours of darkness is a technique I like to use to help signal to the plants that it’s time to transition from veg to flower. 🌒 By giving them an extended dark period, I’m mimicking the natural shift from summer to fall, when daylight hours start to shorten. This kick-starts the plants’ flowering hormones (phytochrome), helping them shift into flower mode more smoothly and quickly. In my experience, this method helps speed up the flip, reduces early flowering stress, and often leads to a more uniform bloom across the canopy. It’s like giving the plants a little nudge to let them know, “Hey, it’s time to bloom!” 🌸 This technique is especially useful for growers like me who want to maximize the efficiency and performance of their plants. 😊 4. did all the topping I plan to do and she's responding just fine. found a touch of fuzz on the old seed pod forming on the rockwool and removed it, as well as snipping off the internodal leaves that had some brown spots... and now she's clean and symmetrical! very definitely an improvement from a couple weeks ago :) did not do a full nutrient swap this week, so no pics or videos of the root system just yet... maybe mid week. tuned back the nutes just a tiny bit (mixed same nute in 1700 ml instead of 1500). not sure why, mostly instinct and to help keep it small (the whole point, really). she's fun to grow! if you've never tried a desktop nano grow... i highly recommend it 😊👌😺

Late to update this week. Was out of town and finally I found some time to update. I started giving them a healthy dose of KoolBloom to start finish this grow off. Temperature is getting higher and I wish I started these girls 2 weeks earlier, but hindsight is 420. I think these should be ready by week 9, so i’ll be looking at those trichomes at this stage of the grow. I like mine cloudy. What do you all prefer?

Welcome to week 3 of flower for these fine ladies! As the stretching period comes to and end in about a week or so I'm excited to see the plant's develop their flowers. Some of the plants have already developed quited the frost for their age and as the cycle continues its just going to get more pronounced. Some of the plants are giving off a faint smell now mostly the Banana Smoothie smelling of cream and bananas so far. Overall I'm really pleased with what's going on so far and can't wait for further development of the flowers! Things are moving along as the plants keep stretching like crazy Day#17F Ladies are producing more and more size on their cotton balls while stretching up and stacking hard. Day#18F Ladies are producing quite the frost levels for their age. Watered 4L each at 550PPM. Day#19F Pictures N/A. Plants continue to stretch and stack. Day#20F Ladies look like their slowing down on their stretch hopefully haha. Watered ladies 4L each at 550PPM. Day#21F The plants are still stretching abit while putting mass on their flowers slowly. Wont be long till we see some giant flowers covered in trichomes! Recap: Things went very well this week, some of the plants are starting to put out a smell and everyone's pumping trichomes like crazy! With about a week or so left on the stretching period I will be looking to place my secondary nets very very soon. I'm looking forward to seeing what the plants smell like and how they continue to develop their flowers!

Beginning of week.. Such weird bud structure.. Love the smell.. Fruity asf.. Since nights haven't been as cool as they were before, the colors seem to have stopped on the calyxes. The old ones are still purple, but the newer calyxes don't have any coloring.. Still a pretty mix of purples and greens.. The leaves look like they should not be an issue when trimming whatsoever.. They are huge.. Even at the tip top of the colas, so far.. The lollipopping could have been kept a node or 2 lower.. I should have nothing but massive top colas tho.. I can live with that.. Lol. I'm still finding my sweet spots with alot of things lol.. Trying to use a LUX Meter and convert to PAR to figure out how much my girls are getting. Lately, I've burned a few tops.. Not too bad.. didnt hurt the yield or trichomes too much.. But noticeable.. So I'm trying to find the sweet spot and still be able to just cut the power of the light down, lower the light toward the canopy so I can also avoid the summer heat which is coming.. So far, I can run this light at 50%, but keeping it about 14 inches above the conopy.. By harvest, I should be able to get away with 75% power at about 12-14 inches.. Just one plant and the footprint of the light is pretty wide.. So it should still get branch to branch pretty evenly.. Stoned ramblin hah! Mid week.. Wow.. These colas are getting massive! She didnt stretch much at all, if any. So, I lollipopped a bit high, in my opinion. But these colas are gonna be so massive, it shouldn't even matter at this point lol. She has ALOT of leaves and they are REALLY getting thick in there.. There isn't much airflow getting around these colas.. I should probably get a fan on there.. Or maybe defoliate a bit.. Not sure really now.. But damn, these colas are HUGE!.. they aren't very long, but holy shit there are getting so fat! Very fruity scent.. Pretty strong but still has plenty of time to get even stronger.. Wow. This autoflower is nothing like the White Widow auto.. That's for sure.. The white widow buds stay kinda small.. Airy.. They must have used a different auto to breed with.. Or maybe the white widow reg. version just isn't a big yielder.. Blah whatever.. This girl needs something changed quick tho.. Either a fan or defoliate more.. Or both.. A growmie just had some bud rot on one of his heavy yielding autos.. Never had the issue before and I don't plan on having it EVER. This is a very good, productive week so far. Next day.. I had to defoliate for sure.. And even pulled the branches down a bit more to help open her up some. I did not expect these colas to do this at all.. I even raised up my oscillating fan so that it's moving air above and below the canopy pretty well now.. Should be fine 🤞... Another thing.. The leaves are SUPER dark green.. The tops have some clawing and the leaves that are hidden away (mostly sugar leaves) do too.. I brought the FloraMicro down to .66 mL/L but I think I'm going to go down a bit further.. My last grow did this too and I went down to .5 mL/L and still ended the run with the issues.. So.. Damn.. Should I just cut it out completely? The colas are already so damn huge.. I just need them to swell up a bit and I can already tell I'm gonna be more than happy with the outcome. I guess I will just bring it down to .33 mL/L.. Eaiser to measure out that way for me too.. She shouldn't struggle or even notice any change.. The only thing I could see hurting is the lack of the Calcium in the FloraMicro.. But I'm going to see if bringing the Micro down that much will help this claw crap from spreading.. So still very happy with this run.. Not bad, ILGM.. Not bad at all.. End of week.. Yeah definitely going down to .33mL/L on the FloraMicro.. I'm sure she will be fine till harvest. No other issues should pop up. She is looking and smelling gorgeous as fuuuuck! She is already so dense and thick.. This is gonna be a nice harvest.. On to the next!...

2020-01-12(Day 15) - Fastbuds Purple Lemonade passed the MegaPowerPlant of the same age in height. I just implemented LST and introduced Nutes. From the grows I've seen of this strain I think I'll stick to LST and not top, take advantage of the large internodal spacing. One or two more weeks and we should see some dark buds forming, can't wait!

Thursday 16th march day 59 Harvested a couple days earlier then planned as my humidity was getting a bit high and worried about risking mold I decided to chop, have to get a good dehumidifier soon, everything looking lovely, nice and dense with very strong fruity potent smell definitely the best looking plants I have grown to date not the biggest buds but they look quality, chopped plants whole gonna do my best to keep the temp and rh% in the dry room as close 60/60 as I can to get a nice slow dry, 🍁😎 I only took the wet weight from 1 plant back left plant was 270g with large fan leaves removed

Le 70e jour s'est écoulé tranquillement. J'espérais pouvoir récolter cette semaine, mais mon projet n'est pas encore prêt. J'ai l'impression que ma plante stagne, elle ne semble pas mûrir comme je l'espérais. Je vais donc lui accorder encore une semaine pour voir si les trichomes se développent davantage. Remarque : ces deux dernières semaines, il y a eu peu d'évolution. J'ai utilisé les nutriments Final part et Bloom à 100%.

Fun one to grow even in veg its exciting because the foliage is fuckin Jurassic like it's a beautiful thing. Had some high ph towards the end so I would say theres plenty of room for improvement but all around this was a decent grow and this strain is a classic
