12/25/2023-Germination Day 1 Merry X-mas 2023 I decided to start a run of SolFIre Gardens Hoodz Candyz S1. I am going to do a cup filled with RO water a touch of Hydrogen peroxide and let it sit for 24-48 hours until I see tap root then I am going to put it into a rapid rooter.. Tap root Down and put it about 1/4 of the say down the Rapid rooter. I made some modifications to my basket on this run.. I have taken a few Pods that I use for my cloning machine and decided that I am going to try and use them as sure plants, so that I can take my water right up to the bottom of the basket this time and see if these can make my planting more consistent.   12/26/2023-Germination Day 2 Tap root achieved Planting Commencing 12/27/2023-Germination Day 3 Misted the dome lightly misted the rapid rooter and added a little water to the bottom of the pan to encourage root growth to the pan. 12/28/2023-Germination Day 4 Ground Hogs day 12/29/2023- Germination Day 5 She is up, she has broken surface, I misted the root riot, and around the bottom of the tray to try and entice root growth down rapidly. 12/31/2023- Germination Day 6 Ground Hogs Day 1/1/2024-Germination Day 7 HAPPY NEW YEARS!!.. I did it I planned it out so my planting day would fall on New Years and it worked.. Rolling into week 7. Time to dial down the nutes and start my UVB regiment. I use Reptisun 10.0 bulbs due to LED UV's giving far less than optimal performance. Reptisun 5.0 bulbs work 2. I only run them from week 7 to flush and for only 3 hours a day within the current light cycle. Update day 45: After doing a trichome check, it finished EARLY!! Time to do a quick flush then harvest. I was going to add the nutes to the fresh water today 😂😂

Great progress this week - the smell is getting fruitier by the day and trichomes are everywhere! This week will be the last application of Geisha Foliar spray. Next week will be the last does of nutrients, followed by a flush - depending on the colour of the trichomes.

Here they are, finished! The plant in the smaller tent definitely packed on much more weight. The issue with the other plant was being in a 12/12 tent and having a taller plant in there which was hogging the light. Still got beautiful smelling flowers. These were all taken in the last week of flowering. Super happy with the new setup that I put in with the Mars Hydro light! Very nice plants but they did take their sweet time in the beginning.

Buds are stacking real nice and the trichomes keep coming like sprinkled white snow. I cleaned up the bottom one more time. the purples colours are starting to show up on the upper leaves. I will be top dressing this next week and it will be the last before harvest.

WEEK 7 - March 14 - 20 I now have a good light meter so I rearranged the parts provide light efficiency trying to get close to PPFD for the age of each plant. ALL HAVE HAD CALCIUM MAG DEFICIENTCIES. I NEED TO ADD CALMAG TO MY RO WATER AND KEEP ADDING MORE THROUGHOUT THE GROW.

Day 43 12/08/24 Monday Feed today, it was warm again so they drank the whole 300ml each so I have topped up another 150ml to see run off to prevent salt build up. This girl is SO FROSTY, unfortunately due to careless mistakes on my part her growth appears to have stunted. Either way I'm very pleased with the phenotypical expression in this plant, definitely good genetics that I will be taking another shot at next grow.

Day 36 update; Nothing to add. Bit more crystals, tho not too much.. Day 37 update; Looks like the tap water fixed the magnesium problem. And added some fertilizer today. Day 38 update; Progress still be progress. Day 39 update; Trichomes definitely spreading. Day 40 update; Still not that great at holding the microscope still, so pictures aren't really that good.. Strong aroma from the plants now tho, very nice fruity smell I can't quite pinpoint what is, but very intense when I open the tent. Day 41 update; She's starting to pop some purple colour on the top leaves.. Not exactly sure why, as she's had the exact same treatment as the other one, while that one isn't showing any purpling. I'm not entirely against it, but since I'm not sure if it's genes or what, it's a little, well... - Added a few extra pics of the other one, since she's looking a little better bud wise. - Smell in the tent is fantastic.. A little more purple on the leaves, and definitely more progress on the buds as well. - The other one is further ahead, even tho it's only day 39 Day 42 update; End of week 6.. - Getting closer and closer. Harvest gonna be in a couple of weeks.
