Dramatic weather here, 2 violent storms have hitted my tent without mayor damages. I've bought a high density polyethylene film from farmer supplier, God blessed for this choice. Strong. But I've made a great mistake on Thursday because I was very busy cropping and curing Royal Gorilla that I've forget to water the sisters. I've watered them on Friday just before I started putting up the tent and the storm started with 90% humidity. It has become a tropical greenhouse, so to avoid mold disasters I drilled some side holes and raised the lower edge. Fortunately, on Saturday my little ones managed to dry themselves well thanks to a little sun and a dry wind. I've learned the lesson. Now that weather is a little bit better but colder I've realised that my plants now love to live under a greenhouse, flowering is accelerating. Saturday check after the storm, bud by bud, revealed to me a single rot spot on minor side branch completely obscured by upper buds and fully soaked by water. I've removed the affected part carefully, no metastases around. Some branches start to bend down by weight, buds are enormous. Now under the greenhouse plant is restarting to flower well, as notorious Special Kush don't like too much sudden changes of temperature. Do not want to repeat mistakes done with Royal Gorilla so the plant will be cropped only when 100% ready, not a minute before, not a minute, I think on Wednesday or Thursday if dry. We are talking about of more than a pound of shit! P. S. need some help from you guys to trim Royal Gorilla, need to smoke less, that shit has no respect! 😁😎

I'm not happy with the overall harvest...it produced some good tasty smoke due to fine nutes and a wonderfull strain but i fu**ed it up by using a very bad soil...growth was very slow and also lost like 25g due to budrot/mold...again my fault as i set up ventilation the wrong way (RH was good but some buds didn't get enough airflow) Again i learned alot of things and got 275g of good, great smelling smoke...so not that bad...but could be much better 🙂

Day 50 (22 of flowering ) flowering is really bloom ing now, i’m playing a little with lamp distance cause is a 100 watt non dimmerable so i hope to increase light to bud, they need now. Now she really needs a lot of feed. I give 1 lt every2 days. Day 51 (23 o flowering ), another 1 lt full. Now she’s eating 1 lt every 48 hours, and when she need it anyway. But she need à lot more thème before. Day 53 I had to supercrop this branch that was too close to the heat ventilation. I hope it will save the branch and increase maybe that bud. Today another 1 lt of feeding, and I think that from the end of this week is going to need more. Let’s go!

Berry stinky monkeys!

The switch from last week to this week, veg into bloom, has gone super fast! I've done 2 waterings this week, 1st with just water and second I added bio bizz bloom 1 ml/l, root booster and cal mag. All at 1ml/l and this time i took the time to check ph and ppm. I had to lower pH (scary) for the second time from 7.1 to 6.1 and I'm seeing definate effect in the amount of white pistil growth! So much more vigorous the last grow, when I overfed.

SO, the girls were doing so well into their second week I decided to do the unthinkable... I topped autos! 😳😳🤯🤯 I figured they were doing so well and hadn't entered flower yet; let's do our best to keep them small and get multiple good buds instead of just one. This will also give me the best opportunity to lst them down using ties. Stayed tuned for that! This girl is doing the best out of them all still. She was the whole real I decided to top them. I'm looking forward to what she'll produce. I have been super excited with everything up to this point . I have made all my preparations that I think need to be made and did some trial runs on my environment. I starting preparing around the 15th of January and my set up was complete around the 19th of February. I spaced my purchases out based on budget constraints. I wanted a cheap and efficient grow area. Some thing I paid more for because through all the research I did I felt quality was more important. If you are as excited as I was, you get pretty anxious when awaiting order status when you first order your seeds. You should remember you are ordering from an online seed bank not amazon. Most work Monday - Friday and are in a complete different time zone. I ordered my seeds from seed supreme Seedbank. I placed my order on 31 January and mailed money as directed. This was the scariest part for me especially when I didn’t hear anything back. I finally received a email on the 12th if February saying my invoice was paid and then subsequently mailed out on the 15th and I received on the 20th. One thing I would like to note that recommend to anyone mail cash is to make sure you spend the extra cash and track your payment. I’m currently germinating all five GSC I received I placed them in water for the first 24 hours and then a paper towel for approximately 40 Hours. Day 2 - 2/24/19: Nothing new to report no activity on the surface, misted watering at 5.8 PH. Day 3 - 2/25/19: Plant number 1 which had the longest tap root broke the surface I started a time lapse on it to cover the first moments of birth 😭 daddy is already so proud lmao. I have another light watering today with my humidity domes on, the intent is to have the plants roots work to get the required water and hopefully promote root growth. I also added 1ml of Rapid start and diluted into 1 gal. Day 4 - 2/26/19: Checked the status this morning prior to work and two more have reached the surface only two more remaining which I suspect will reach by the time I make it home from work. Misted this morning pot was looking pretty dry with the exception of the humidity domes, which I removed on all the sprouted seedling. I intend on shifting to a 20 on 4 off cycle and starting my other fans. Day 5 - 2/27/19: All five plants have broke the surface. I did a normal watering this am still utilizing the dome to avoid watering on top of the plants. I lowered the light again some of the early sprouters we stretching a little more than I wanted and appeared leggy to me. Day 6 - 2/28/19: Nothing really to report today. Excited for the name reveal tomorrow. I did a light watering. I played around with my ppm meter and ec I definitely plan on using in conjunction with my first feeding this weekend. Day 7 - 3/1/19: Was watering this morning normal levels. I also mixed a new feed to be ready for them tomorrow. While I was watering # 5 fell over I accidentally tipped it with the spout. I grabbed some left over soul to help prop it up hopefully she is ok.

Flipped to 12/12 at the end of Week 7. The manganese issue seems to have been solved by lowering the pH levels. Ordinarily I'd strip most everything below the net this week, but a friend asked me to leave him some clippings until week 2-3 of flower. I cleaned it up a little underneath the net, continued to tuck new growth, and started to slack back on grow nutes, and slowly introduce flower nutrients. I was hoping to have a second Aglex 2000 COB LED to add to the tent for flower, but it may be another week or two before I can add it.

Thanks once again to RQS for sending me this girl. She's not the most fruity smoke, but more of a pine with a unique tropical/banana peel to it. A nice strain for the cannasseur, and one I'm really enjoying, especially for my back. Thank you to everyone who follows, likes, comments and supports in any way.
