- upped light intensity to ca. 600 PPFD by taking of the domes of the E27 LEDs - performed LST and defoliated larger leaves that were blocking the new nodes; snapped the main stem from Forbidden Cherry #1. Damn. She survived, but so much pain. Stupid beginner mistake. She´ll recover! - Otherwise, great growth, no other issues.

We have been introducing some nice cold temps at night, which is bringing out some autumns colors and extra frosty buds. Will continue to get temps as low as possible when lights off. We will give the plants about 36 hours of darkness before harvesting on Sunday. I will take photos of all the individual pheno's as we harvest :)

This plant i ripped out with roots and hung it up with them. Drying 1 week in 15-19°C and 50% humidity. Cured for 1 week and then trimmed carefully. Nice BIG smelly and tasty buds came out of this beauty. Sweet smoke with berry/flowery taste and relaxing effect. I was expecting more like indica effect but nevermind. Good for stoning at home with nearest. She has also calming effect after crazy/angry day.

Week 5 day 1. I have a favourite for next run. I’m very happy, I haven’t really defoliated at all this grow, just letting it grow. Wish I was going for mains(topping) but still very good. Going to wait around week 9 so seeds will be good for next run. I have decided to do very hard hst next round to show max potential. Very happy with supercropping so will do it very heavy with scrog. I will try to reveg the one I really like but it is difficult having only 1 set of lights and 1 tent. Plants are about 7ft tall, might just run 2 next round in 4x8 or will still continue to go 4 in the 4x8.

Potted up four gorilla girl xl in to 5 gal pots, using plagron light mix.🇬🇧 moistened the The soil gently in advance with 1l regular tap water and 4ml root juice. Using gloves pushed the seed just under the soil. dusted over With a bit more soil, added A tiny bit more water gently as possible and finally covered with humidity domes *Day 2, all four seeds germinated over night, chuffed! removed Humidity domes *Day 3, Two of the Four seeds are expressing yellowing, one just Having 1 yellow leaf. I’m guessing this was down to the seed case partially being stuck. and or bad ph. Ph up and down on route. *Day 4, mixed up a litre of cal-mag buffed Tap water, left out to dechlorinate/come to room temp and watered accordingly. Plant’s #1 and #2 progress. Plant 3# yellow leaf dropped. Plant 4# stunted but think she’ll be ok *Day 5, gave mini feed bio- grow and cal-mag then ph to 6.0. I changed the light cycle to 18hrs on, 6 off also *Day 6, possible nitrogen toxicity:/, just water from now

The coating of straw that I previously spread over the soil has helped a lot as well. 6/22- The weather continues to relentlessly bake everything outside... many thanks for a good A/C!❄️ The daily watering continues and I also went ahead and removed a bunch of foliage that was below the trellis net. 6/24- Today I top dressed the FastBuds Wedding Cheesecake FF with 2 cups each of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with 1 cup of Down To Earth Bio-Fish 7-7-2 and 1/2g of Wiggle Worm castings. After top dressing and working the amendments in by hand I replaced the straw coating over the soil and watered them in with 5g of straight well water via garden hose as usual. There goes another week for the Wedding Cheesecake FF and it won't be long before she begins to show signs of pre-flowering! Permanent Marker has stalled in growth a little. I think it has had a bit too much nitrogen. I'm not worried as I'm sure it'll all work out in the end 😅 5.9.25: I decided the plant was ready for some training, I FIM'ed her. Hopefully I can just tie the odd branch down, when we get to that stage. Here is what I did this week. 4.9.25: I watered with 1L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.5 with; 💜 1ml Trace 💜 . 25 TSP Biosys PH: 6.5 PPM: 365 9.9.25: I watered with 1.5L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4, with; 💜 1ml Trace PH: 6.4 PPM: 361 Thanks for stopping by this week and hanging out 😁💚✌️🌱🧡🤞

We put 40ml of pure water and we add 5 drops of oxygen water and then put the seeds

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. 24/05/2023 - 78 days since my little girl sprouted from a seed🌱 Tenth week of my Red Mandarin 🍊🍊🍊 Nutrients: Advanced Nutrients Flawless Finish - 2ml - I rinse the plants two weeks before harvesting so that they have a clean taste and smell 😋👃🌴 -------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------- Lights: I use a Mars Hydro TS1000 - 150w full spectrum, great light for vegetation and flowering use 💡💡 Training: No training is needed this week In general: The tangerine is really beautiful, even though it doesn't have red buds. I've started this week with a heavier defoliation. Not sure it's worth it but I want to try it anyway, might as well make experience. I want to take a break from defoliation though, she's still my first plant so I really don't want to overstress or damage her. Pistils are getting bigger and I can't wait to see the bud! Watching carefully the flowers development as I've never seen that before. Hoping in some final stretch. End of the week: she stretched almost 10 cm in four days. I love this plant. I also rised the EC to 1.7. Still waiting before switching to Canna Flora nutrients. She's beautiful and bushy, I definitely need to slow down with those little frequent defoliations tho. Don't want to stunt her growth, especially now.

The chop has arrived! This was a really long but fun grow! I do see why people don't like growing sativas it does take forever and is a difficult process! I will do another one for sure though! I will update one more time with the full harvest and weight once drying has finished. 11/21/2025 is when I started the dry in my tent! Currently 62F and 60% humidity
