Overall, I am extremely happy with the genetics of the Auto Euforia and the general success of the grow. I always like to reflect on mistakes I have made, so let me lay them out here: I overlit the plant during veg, contributing to it's bushy nature. It grew well but this would be a waste of electricity if I was growing more commercially. During the last week of flower, my region of Ontario was hit with tons of rain and humidity. I took some steps to increase circulation of dehumidified air, but lowering 95rh to 65-70rh is still insufficient and I lost some control of the environment. The awful result was the start of mold in some select areas, particularly in the fattest buds and where leaves were cut away and petioles remained. This issue is not due to Dutch Passions great genetics, and is entirely due to a combination of an unseasonable environment and my own overconfidence. This mold was never clearly apparent on the outside of the buds, but I found it will trichomes scouting under magnification. This forced me to speed up the harvest and drying process. It also means that I have had to carefully grade the buds into those safe for smoking and vaping, those mold free but needing a second examination (will be rosin pressed), and those close enough to spots of mold to be only for for edibles. Any moldy bud was of course cut away and will be disposed of. Nevertheless, I have many ounces of fantastic buds, and will be making some nice pressed rosin based 510 cartridges. I will edit the harvest post with more information after the cure, and showing the various processing I will be doing. Happy growing! 🌱

Heading into the final weeks! Switched the light so that it’s like only 11 1/2 hours of light and a half hour more of darkness. Also slowly reduced the nutrients to a minimum as we are heading for the flush soon. I try to keep the temps relatively low from now on. The Candy Rain produced some really fat and frosty buds at the top, some of them were so heavy that I had to tie em up 👌🏻

keep forgetting i have this diary going and keep forgetting to keep it updated. these have just been topped dressed and are loving the environment. just starting on the second week of flower.

Looking good so far going into our second week of flower. Lots of new hairs and flower sites that are super close together so the inner node spacing is minimal at best. Should stack up quite nicely in the weeks to come. Stay tuned!

The start of week 5 is going well. Blueberry is smelling nice and my seedlings should be showing preflowers soon.

🎼 Week 13: The Grand Finale Approaches (Flower Week 8) One love growmies, we still not done yet with this BPP auto 😻🤤 I’m giving them like 2 more weeks maximally. The finish line is in sight, and the symphony is reaching its crescendo! This week has been all about patience and classical vibes. I’m still playing B. Smetana - Vltava every morning, and I swear the trichom production is responding to those majestic crescendos. Some buds are becoming rock-hard and the scent is so heavy it almost has a texture. 📈 Final Weeks Strategy: I’m starting to taper off everything. Just pure, clean water from here on out to let the plant finish its cycle naturally in the living soil. No more top-dressing, just letting the biology do the final touch-up. Girls are almost ready to graduate. It’s been a long journey from that first Scrog tucking to this massive sea of purple and green. Nice growth of 11cm this week. She seems to be doing very well. 💪 I've not done a thing to her apart from feed/water and turn her pot 180 degrees through the week.

Here is the ugly duckling. She does not work, has suffered more from life in a pot and continues to get naughty with irrigation. I'm basically keeping her a little underwatered. She's under close observation. After the storm I will evaluate whether to fertilize. She's the strain in which I place the most expectations.

This week, I started defoliation and tying down. So far, no signs of pistils. The smell is beginning to emit. PPM remains at 1000, and the pH is 5.8. While waiting for the harvest, I'm enjoying the last Rosin I made.

goodday growbrothers and sistren Purple is doing great!😎👍 I was feelin a bit bold this week so i have just topped her!!...(13.06) not the normal routine, i usually do that in an earlier phase (for autos especially) but i was defoliating a bit (she has HUGE indica leaves.. so awesome) and thought , what would happen if i just topped her right now?? so i did.. and i did some very light LST too, so all the flowers get enough light😇 Ladybugs are still cleaning her but now the weather is better aprhids are not at large anymore..
