Week 6 went well. The buds are putting out a second wave of pistils and are starting to fatten up. Jilly is starting to smell more and put out more trichs on sugar leaves. She smells very sweet and fruity so far.

Well, this was a interesting first journey.... the buds finished drying today, 5 days drying, added pics and vids. Just curing to go.... ah nice buds :) Edit: i forgot to mention i went over the buds when i harvested them, and checked / removed any impurities, like gnats caught in the sticky bud.... picked em clean with tweezers... 👍 Edit: needed to air/dry out the buds abit more, and get some Boveda Humidipak for curing.... it's looking good... i'll update with some pics of trimmed, cured buds 😎 The buds turned out beautiful, pungent, pine, berry, citrusy, daytime, medical..... this has theoretical 1:1 - 21% THC, 19% CBD, so it's not going to give u a knockout high.... its medical grade 1:1 ....... side effects - happy, relaxed. haha :) I weighed it dry and came up with about 123.32g (4.35oz) ... i used abit of guesswork in the weight, not to concerned with weight, as to quality.... (that weight is with the test buds added in, +-15g.) .... you can guess the weight from the pics and vids, haha I really enjoyed growing this.... i found the website by looking up the seeds, decided to start a grow diary, it's my first grow, i made alot of mistakes and growdiaries really helped alot, joined a chat group with some other really good growers. Edit - Day 111 - added vid/pic, Been curing for a week, burp and roll em abit twice a day....... smell and taste nicer each day, 👍 Edit - Day 112 - added good vid of trimmed up test bud, beautiful ...... The plants are huge and they are developing preflowers. I lowered the photoperiod to 14/10 in 3 days I lowered it to 12/12. I gave water to flushing roots and now I gave phosphorus and potassium for flowering

Hey hey growmies! another longer week, as I wanted to show these girls bouncing back from some problems I ran into with my Kratky experiment. about halfway through the week my plants started drooping and showing signs of overwatering, my guess is either the plant outgrew her air roots or the reservoir was too hot, inhibiting the plants ability to take up oxygen. either way, a quick peek at the roots showed some very healthy looking noodles, so I decided to not take any chances and come up with a solution that would solve both those problems. I took a 3 litre container, put a coat of primer and black paint on it to keep light out, then a layer of plumbers tape to bounce some of the grow lights off of the container, theoretically keeping the heat out, some other things I could have done was paint it white, or put some wall insulation around it. I could have also kept my jars and tried some troubleshooting, fill them less and more often. but I am happy with the roots created by Kratky, that's the nice thing about that system, it forces the roots to grow more horizontally, the roots have now created a sturdy foundation for low stress training and are perfect for placing into DWC. so that's what I did, I added a tiny pump and air stone, and for now both plants will sit in this tiny container, The Runtz will be moved to the tent as soon as possible, hopefully before these girl's roots get entangled, If that does happen, I will have to trim back some of the Runtz roots, I don't want to hurt the autoflower. now you've likely wondered what is up with the host of deficiencies the plants are showing, honestly that's just neglect on my part. I can tell there's damage from overwatering, pH fluctuations and even some lockouts. I am more on top of it now, the pH is more stable, the plants are getting oxygen and will recover plenty before flower. Plus I get to show off how hardy ruderalis is, look at the auto-flower compared to the photo period, she barely cares about the high temps, pH fluctuations all she appears to want is more food, so I have increased the ec to 1 ms, but most importantly, ill keep the pH in a range where they can actually take up the nutrients now That's it for now Growmies, Thanks for checking out my diary. Topped it off with tsp dr earth 222 organics few days ago. Will fim it week 3 transplant week 3.5? I dont think a sativa gets greener than this?

Harvesting in 3 days

Day 78 - Starting week 12 and she’s still chugging along and filling in and fattening up nicely. She’ll need some water and nutes in the next day or so. Day 79 - Still moving along nicely. Did a little defoliating today and will do a heavier one in another week or so. She probably is down to a couple weeks left, some of the pistils are starting to shrivel a bit but overall, still alive and well. Still have a couple days before she’s ready for some water. Day 80 - She’s looking good and fat and hell. She’s starting to get pretty damn heavy so looking at a pretty decent harvest. She wasn’t quite ready for water but should be ready tomorrow. Day 81 - Nothing new to speak of today, she was getting dry but not quite ready for some water but will definitely be giving her a feeding tomorrow. Pistils are slowly starting to shrivel up and turn reddish brown so starting to count the days down to chop. I’m thinking about 2 more weeks or so. Day 82 - The girl was majorly droopy today and was definitely ready for some water. I gave her a gallon of water with her last feeding of bloom nutes. I’ll flush her with some sledgehammer when she’s dried up again and just give her water until it’s time to harvest. Day 84 - She’s getting close to getting the chop. Leaves are starting to fade and pistils are starting to shrivel up. Still has quite a bit of white pistils but she’s on the downside, 2 weeks top left. Will be giving her a flush tomorrow and let her go till the end.

doing well so far I'm wondering if the one gallon container I have it in is enough

The ladies light schedule was changed to 12/12 on Oct.30!❤️ The girls were doing great about 1 week after their big defoliation and SCROG being put in, I decided to flip to flower. I had been tucking and bending and had achieved about 80-90% canopy coverage, the last bit should fill in this week as they begin to stretch. During the 1st week of flower transition, I continued to tuck and bend where I could, trying to maintain an even canopy of tops, as well as fill in as many of the squares, as evenly as I can. It becomes a morning and night routine, I check on my humidifier, say good morning, and tuck away for about 5 minutes or so, it doesn’t take much at this point. Once the first week of stretch is through, I stop tucking branches and allow the tops to continue to grow upwards. I find that by using a SCROG method, there isn’t really a whole lot to do…I don’t defoliate until week 3, so it’s just feeding every 3-4 days and filling my humidifier! When I water is when I like to get under the canopy and check the stems and leaves for anything that shouldn’t be… and typically once a week after watering I’ll wipe down the tent and sanitize any surface I can. There is no reason to get lazy, that’s how you get Pests, Mold, and PM. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️

Purple starting to come through on plant 2! At what point do you start your 2 week flush? (if you do). First grow and kind of anxious about doing it too soon or too late.

Finally I cut her down on Day 87. She had a difficult start but eventually produced thick fat buds. Looks delicious. I did not weigh the wet weight because I hung the plant in its entirety. I will post the dry weight later. To be continued.......

+- Girkls are doing very well Did a 21 day defoliation for good air flow also finished lolly popping all excess branches tht didnt make it to the screenthey will soon be in full bloom and geting down to m4 weeks till harvest they are drinking a gallon a day now of nutrient solution have to add just water after only three days with fresh 5 gallons of nutrient water went through 4 gallons in 3 days been checking the ph twice daily due to the ladies drinking so much it goes both ways it climbes to almost 7 in 12 hrs then will drop to 4.9 the next 12 so i really nhave to stay on top of it more than usual with this strain im shooting for 10 ounces of grade A Smoke. wich will be my biggest harvest ive done to date ive gotten up to 9 ounces before but thats about it havent been able to find the 16 ounce harvest yet but im trying ++
